Susan wouldnt let hipaa happen when i was verbally asking for it in current day and time. She just wanted to meet my mom I'm 29. She ask me if I need jail as a group leader. She ask me if I need more classes. Soon I'll… have 3 drug test all the same and the last one is violated? They don't stick to contracts and rules of their own practice. Don't get me started about ozoa who runs his practice through them and is 100% always right. I'm the only man in this town. It's my fault right? It's a degree issue? Nah. Authority issues and responsibilities need the board of education involved.

We need to organize to get money into this place or get it completely takwn out. My wife is forced to stay there with the staff treating it like a jail contact with family is highly discouraged even though studies show… otherwise. Her 72 hours were legally up yesterday but they have yet to produce any paperwork. I can call her for 10 minutes and she can call me for 10 minutes. There is a woman named Debra that has an issue with anyone that sees her as a nurse and not a co because she has belittled and degraded both my wife and I. She is delusional. She said that my wife won't get treatment if we're hanging out on the phone all day but the thing is that it has been stated that never has been a moment she was actually able to use the reck equipment or do anything healthy.so she is FORCED to have to lay in her bed. Until she can do a class or see a Dr. I don't know know but this girl is scared and she is a fresh mother. They are traumatizing her in the name of mental health. Outpatient after the full time would work perfect but the nurses know nothing about the benefits of reality not just sitting on meds starting at a wall. If you have family or you have experienced it please get a hold of me and we can dismantle this place. It is a strong relic of the early 1900s psychwards. I have talked to a couple good nurses they seem to have no need to understand their client's. This is a mother with postpartum depression of a 2 month old. She had a little anger not even violent and made a few statements that should be taken care of.

Lauren is a horrible case manager. During intake that she was supposed to be at, she passed me off to an intake specialist. The next time I heard from her was after I called the emergency hotline for NEC. She scheduled… group therapy and left 1 on 1 therapy as an option. I missed the first 2 groups due to scheduling conflicts. After that, i had to call the NEC emergency hotline again and ended up in their inpatient unit. I called to tell them i wasnt happy with the services provided and they scheduled me with a different therapist. Lauren then called to tell me that if i didn't attend group, she would cancel that appointment and future appointments.

This place just tries to get your money and keep you in therapy as long as they can for that reason. I saw a severe alcoholic graduate on time after telling the counselor she was drunk at meetings. Don’t waste your time.

The staff here does what they can to make you feel welcome and secure. If someone doesn't know how to help you, they will try to find someone better suited for you. I've been with 4 therapists there due to insurance… changes, retirement, and a wonderful woman who knew someone else was better suited to assist me. I cannot complain about anyone I've had help me.

I initially went there for coping with hallucinations and how to cope with my trauma. They never did any of those. I told them that I absolutely did not want to be on drugs due to past experiences, but kept pushing the… idea on me. Instead they would crack open my trauma, not tell me how to deal with it, and then send me on my way, feeling overwhelmed with flashbacks for the rest of the day/week. At one point, the therapist didn't know what I was talking about when I was talking about me being raped for the first time, and she said "that's gotta be exciting ;)". I corrected her and felt disgusting. At one point, one of the ladies told me that they'd do electroshock therapy if I was bad enough, which included not having the energy to get out of bed. Terrified, I didn't keep going and I called her up and told her off. She said she was 'joking". But I knew that electroshock therapy was good and alive now in days. Not to mention I'm trans and she never ever used my preferred name or pronouns, even when corrected. "It's too hard" she said. My birth name is harder to pronounce than "Ed" or "Eddie". The Bowen Center is so much better. Don't waste your time and money here.
