About Northpoint Recovery – Omaha (9623 M Street)
Northpoint Recovery operates from 9623 M Street in Omaha. The site sits in Douglas County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Chalco, La Vista and Papillion. Nebraska draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Northpoint Recovery
Partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Northpoint Recovery Reviews and Ratings
Reviews of Northpoint Recovery appear in this section, gathered from around the web and from patients and families who share their experience on RehabSeekers.
Very individualized and detailed treatment nice small groups to learn how to lean on someone else everyone listens and not just hear you including ms.rachel and grant everyone there is very helpful all the way down to… ms.jackie they give you breaks to process and decompress and lunch is pretty good also. I would definitely refer someone here!
Im currently a member in the in patient treatment facility with 1 more week to go. I cant say enough how this has changed my life in the past 4 weeks. All the education they provide sets me up for success and cant wait… to start using the skills and knowledge ive learned so fair. Definitely a place I would recommend if you or a family member is struggling to regain control of your life. Thank you Northpoint for saving my life and my family's heartache. See you at the next AA meeting!
Northpoint was genuinely one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. I went into the program knowing I needed to make changes, but I came out with a level of growth, self-awareness, accountability, and… understanding that I didn’t expect. The staff truly care, the groups give you real tools you can carry into everyday life, and the program gives you plenty of opportunities to work on yourself if you’re willing to be honest and put the effort in. I can genuinely say I enjoyed my time there, even when the work wasn’t always easy. I met some great people, learned a lot about myself, and left a better version of myself than when I walked in. If you’re struggling with addiction, substance abuse, or simply know you need help getting your life back on track, I would absolutely recommend Northpoint. You have to want it, though. They can give you the tools, support, knowledge, and direction, but nobody can do the work for you. If the program isn’t working, before blaming the program, you have to ask yourself if you’re actually using what they’re giving you. I’m grateful for Northpoint, grateful for the people who helped me along the way, and proud of the growth I made there. If you need the help, give the program—and yourself—a real chance. It’s worth it.
This place is a life changer. From the well structured and informative lessons to the amazing and caring staff. I did PHP and IOP and they absolutely saved my life. One of my favorite things about the program is the… accountability that everyone has for each other, its like being a apart of a big sober family. Guaranteed to make connections with others who will aid you in your recovery. The alumni program is also amazing. Tabby the alumni coordinator goes above and beyond making sure everyone gets a chance to share their story and feels heard. Alumni program includes two meetings a week for NP clients only and awesome activates from tickets to comedy shows, bowling and pizza or ice cream once a month it truly is the backbone of a lot of previous clients sobriety.
Following 2 months of inpatient rehab in IL, I matriculated into Northpoint for Intensive Out Patient (IOP) for a period of 12 weeks. I arrived believing that after two months of inpatient in an amazing facility that I… did not have much more to learn. Well, I learned that I was wrong (and arrogantly presumptive). My experience was excellent. I learned new skills and had previous learnings reinforced. Of the over 30 three hour sessions I attended, only about 3 were below expectations. That’s really, really good. If I had to be super critical, I’d say the snacks could be of higher nutrition w/more options, but no big deal (I mean, they still had free snacks, coffee, water). Another benefit is that my support system increased as I made some friendships with some peers. If you are struggling with addiction, I would highly recommend this program. Bottom Line: If you spend some time in a treatment center, then attend an IOP (like this one) go to AA, and do what people suggest, then life will get real better real fast. If you do this half-assed or think you got it all figured out…well…good luck. You got this!
Wonderful staff and therapists!
Northpoint has tremendously helped my recovery. The counselors are absolutely amazing and I feel so welcome talking to them. I’ve learned amazing strategies to cope and I highly recommend this place for treatment.
Extremely helpful to further my recovery after inpatient. I love Northpoint they saved my life!
Great place. And awesome people
Great facility! My experience was just what I needed for my path to recovery. Staff is excellent. Would highly recommend.
I loved going to this place. It really opened me up to a better life and a new way of seeing EVERYTHING.
This was absolutely an amazing experience and definitely helped to continue my care!
It was the most wonderful experience of my life. Northpoint has allowed me to get back my life and I am grateful for that. I was able to work with all the therapists and I love their alumni program. I strongly recommend… them for all those who are interested in getting help.
I just finished 28 days there and I’m so glad I went when I did. The techs and other clients are amazing. They provide a behavioral health model of recovery while allowing you to explore programs like AA, CA, Dharma,… Smart Recovery to name a few. This was my first rehab experience and I am confident it will be the last. I’m forever grateful for this life saving experience!
Best recovery center. Very clean. Great nurses and staff!
Arguably the best around. Highly recommend!
Continuing my treatment here from inpatient was one of the best decisions I could have made along my recovery journey. I've learned so much from all of the counselors during groups and I've gained incredible… self-awareness through my individual sessions. I'm incredibly grateful for Northpoint and everything it's done for me
Staff were all very professional making the whole process bearable
Loved it!!
I love this place so very much!!!
This place is awesome. Staff is so kind!
This was an excellent experience for me. The staff was attentive to me needs and created a customized plan that worked for me. They ensured that I had all of the tools that I needed to be successful and have offered me… tons of support even after finishing the program. I would recommend Northpoint to anyone that comes to me for advice in this realm. Shout out to Northpoint staff for being so great!
I couldn't have found a better place to seek treatment I was going through a very rough time and walking in those doors I was very nervous but as the days went by I found myself and the good person that is really inside… of me the staff was very professional and the groups were very strong willed people my therapist Jocelyn was amazing she all though she told me things that I didn't want to hear I just knew that I had to do this for myself to become a better person.
I am currently in the inpatient recovery and treatment program at Northpoint, Omaha. I attended my first AA meeting at the Northpoint Outpatient facility on June 5. What an incredibly powerful and uplifting experience.… Northpoint is completely exceeding the expectations that I had going into treatment. Thank you to the team, staff, and my peers in recovery and ongoing care!
I cannot say enough good things about NorthPoint. The experience has literally been life-changing for me. Not only did I learn about how to cope with substance use addiction and subsequently staying clean, I learned so… many different things about myself and different perspectives ive never had in my 52 years alive. Every class was a learning experience and the counselors sincerely care about each and every person that walks through the doors. They truly created a safe space where I felt comfortable sharing and being vulnerable. I want to specifically thank both Grant and Jocelyn for all the care, empathy, and knowledge displayed and given to me. They are truly the epitome of what a substance use counselor should be. I am truly and forever grateful to everybody at Northpoint, including my fellow classmates. For anybody who is considering treatment or is on the fence on where to go for treatment, Northpoint is your answer. After 30+ years of substance use, i finally feel confident my days of substance use are behind me. Northpoint gave me the skills to ensure my belief in that! Justin
I’m currently in the outpatient program and I have nothing but good things to say! Jocelyn is a great teacher/counselor and makes all of our classes valuable and entertaining! My counselor John is also great and makes… our therapy sessions once a week an enjoyable and comfortable experience! Also the rest of the staff is great as well! Id definitely recommend this facility to anyone who may need it! They have changed my life and i’m forever grateful!
All the staff at northpoint are awesome the truly care about you. I couldn't have done it without them
I have been at Northpoint for a few months and I’ve been blessed to say the least. Everyone is very kind, welcoming, and have been a life savor. I recommend anyone going through any addiction to come and experience the… kind of support and love Northpoint has to offer.
