Orlando Recovery Center – Orlando Detox and Rehab Services

Orlando Recovery Center – Orlando is listed as running detox, residential treatment and intensive outpatient. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Approved medication is paired with counseling and regular review. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

Such a great group experience with therapists, PJ, Cyerra, and the BHTs CJ and Matthew really made me feel cared for. It’s my understanding that Angel in the kitchen has had many complaints filed against him and nothing… has been done. I spoke directly with the program Director and director of clinical staff. They wrote things down and made it seem as though they heard me, but it’s my understanding that nothing has been done. Really think twice before choosing this place wow, the groups were therapeutic somewhat, My experience with angel in the kitchen was beyond degrading and demeaning. He literally looked at us with discussed most of the time and was a little racist. He Would wake us up early and entered A female patient’s room unannounced while she was sleeping that’s not even in his job description. I felt unsafe anytime he was around me.

My brother went there for the 30 day treatment. After he completed detox he decided the program was not for him for several reasons. First… They kept cancelling AA meetings etc ….and don’t expect any follow thru from on… your FMLA paperwork needed to go back to work. He failed my brother entirely by not handing in the FMLA so my brother could keep his job while in treatment. This visit reveals a failing grade. They also charged my brother 20,000 dollars for 1 week stay. We have requested an itemized list of charges as this far exceeds the normal charge for a 7 night stay. Consider other options before choosing Orlando Recovery Center. I’m sure I’ll get a scathing email from them for posting this but they asked for my opinion and I’m giving it.

This place helped change the course of my life. I came here at a time when I desperately needed help, and today I’m sober and working toward my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Recovery gave me the… opportunity to rebuild a life I once couldn’t see for myself. I’ll always be grateful for the role this program and the incredible team here played in my journey. Thank you to everyone who supported, encouraged, and believed in me along the way. If you’re struggling and wondering whether your life can truly change, it can. ❤️

January 2, 2024, my then 21 year old daughter entered ORC for alcohol and drug rehab. By a miracle of life, she survived a fentynol overdose on New Year's morning. To say the least, our family was living in the… upside-down. A day after her admission, I was contacted by counselor Johanna and family trauma therapist Ace Cooper. If I can give this team 10 stars, I would. Their patience, presence and direction taken to help my daughter... words cannot express. My daughter has seeked counseling prior to this incident but with little true success... she would play pretend or dismiss doctor's recommendations very easily which evidently snowballed to alcohol abuse and drug addiction. Ace and Johanna's methods and team work saved my daughter. The family sessions during her stay at ORC were very productive and eye opening. She slowly regained remorse, emotion, and accountability. She has beaten the odds!! She is still consistent with counseling in her recovery journey. She has never relapsed and is now an incredible, compassionate and loving mother of a beautiful baby girl, engaged and a full time employee. Kind regards and forever Grateful, Madeline Ruiz

Now let's talk about… the therapist that work their. Ashley is by far the best therapist in the world. She changed my life. She not human. She was sent on earth by GOD to help addicts. Once u meet her u will never forget about her the rest of your life. I could write a book about her. Then u got ace. He a life coach. He is the best man to walk on planet earth. He is a father figure and he is the best life coach ever. All the therapist are ...... As .. I'll just leave it like that. I was the goat their. I play basketball and set a record of 176 free throws in a row think about that. I busted every one ass in basketball. I am the LeBron james of that place. If u wanna get sober go here. Trust the goat. I am in the ORC hall of fame due to my basketball skills and I'm a rapper. I am the GOAT 🐐

We all make mistakes. We all feel like no one understands what we go through nor been through. Not everyone accepts the opportunity to explore recovery. Becoming one of the select few to enter the open doors of O.R.C.… was the best life changing decision i ever made. Once i was fully committed and ready to come, O.R.C. rushed to rescue. The entire staff became my family. The helpful knowledge i learned will forever be with me and used by me daily. #sober since 2/23/2024 Love you guys forever and thank you.
