Pillars Health Group – Tewksbury Detox and Rehab Services

Pillars Health Group – Tewksbury offers intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Day programming is scheduled, with evenings spent at home. What suits one person will not suit another, so ask directly. It is reasonable to ask how progress is reviewed and by whom.

The focus here is on one side rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask how the program handles someone who has been through treatment before.

I started at Pillar Health during a really difficult time in my life. From day one, the team treated me like a person, not a case number. The intake was thorough but never judgmental, and the group sessions actually… gave me tools I could use right away. What stands out most is how the staff follows through and I can’t say enough about how caring they were about my situation. That kind of care is rare. If you’re struggling with mental health, substance abuse or just need someone in your corner, go to Pillar Health. They genuinely want you to get better.

Outstanding clinicians and phenomenal mental health care. I was hesitant to join but am beyond happy and eternally grateful for every group and one-on-one session I experienced. A very well rounded program that has… created such a safe and comfortable space to build connections with others in recovery and to develop skills and healthy ways to navigate anxiety, stress, triggers, and unhealthy urges. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. A highly recommended program.

I am so glad to give Pillars Health in Tewksbury the best review. I came into the IOP hesitant, but hopeful . The staff were engaged and encouraging. I came out of that hesitancy with a positive mental and physical… outlook. The Check in and Check out were expertly handled with both in-person and virtually, making time to make each voice heard with helpful suggestions on how to keep moving forward to a positive, and , educated perspective!

Absolutely an exceptional treatment center. Their staff are A+ and are incredibly dedicated to helping their clients. They provide a tremendous amount of support to their clients' family members. I can't say enough… about this program! Highly recommended!

This place is an amazing setting for recovering from mental health problems. It took me a bit to warm up to the idea of coming in person because they have a virtual option as well. But when I did, I realized all of my… concerns and worries about how I looked, how I dressed, etc. etc. all disappeared. The staff is really nice here and since I've joined I went from being agoraphobic to going out to group physically and taking walks and getting closer to what I need to do. I'm really happy with the progress I've made and the camaraderie here is great to make connections with your peers with similar or adjascent struggles. 10/10 would admit again.

I can't say enough to about KEYS, the program they run here and the staff are amazing! Dawn my case manager is really passionate about helping everyone who walks through the door. The vibe and atmosphere from the folks… who work here is beyond expectations. I've personally informed friends and family about KEYS and I highly recommend it to anyone struggling. Just to reiterate, each one of staff the members goes above and beyond without fail. I have felt completely supported throughout my time here and it has allowed me to be vulnerable in ways I have never been able to be. Big Thank You To Keys!!!

As a whole they made one of the most… difficult times in my life much easier to navigate and for that I am forever grateful. If you're looking for a forever support group and people who genuinely care, you found them here!

Keys has helped me understand myself more than I ever could have imagined. Learning about how and why I am the way that I am in a deeper level. Through this process I’ve found the my true self, and has been very helpful… in my healing journey. The things that I’ve learned not only benefit me but my wife and kid. The people there are so kind and help you every step of the way, with individual sessions and guided group sessions. Before you even realize you’ll change your mindset and enjoy the healing journey. Highly recommend it for those seeking help and don’t know where to begin. They have the keys to unlock your true potential

I've had an incredibly positive experience with Keys. From the very first day, the staff made me feel welcomed, understood, and supported. The facility itself is clean, inviting, and thoughtfully designed to create a… calm and comfortable atmosphere. The staff is professional and show genuine compassion. In particular, Taylor has been outstanding. She is highly knowledgeable, patient, and her natural ability to connect made a significant difference. I am grateful for my experience at Keys and would recommend their services to those seeking a thoughtful, well structured program.

I’m three months sober, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without this program. From the very beginning, the staff made me feel seen and understood. They aren’t just professionals—they’re real,… relatable people who truly care and know what this journey feels like. Every step of the way, they’ve supported me with encouragement and positivity, even when I struggled. Instead of focusing on mistakes, they helped me see my progress and reminded me of my strength. That made all the difference. This place has given me hope, confidence, and the tools I need to keep moving forward in my recovery. I’m so grateful for the kindness and guidance I’ve found here—it’s truly been life-changing.

I’ve had a very positive experience here, the staff are very kind and dedicated to helping people on their recovery journey. They work with everyone to meet them where they’re at because they understand not everyone is… doing perfect. It has been a very supportive atmosphere with peers, staff that want to help, and an open door policy for check ins whenever. I haven’t had much success with partial programs in the past, but this place has been super helpful. There’s freedom and you’re not treated like cattle. It’s not like recovery is necessarily made easy, but rather made *easier* and managing gets easier. There isn’t a staff member here who doesn’t want to be here or dislikes their job.

This place and the wonderful! The staff there has helped to literally save my life! These are people that don’t give up on you even when you want to give up on yourself! These are people that will love you until you… learn to love yourself! Dawn is such a breath of fresh air. She’s so funny and she has such great stories but not only does she walk the walk. She talks the talk and she has been through this and it is very powerful stuff. It’s amazing to be in an atmosphere, where you see people change and the light comes back into their eyes. For that to happen, you have to have willing clients and a very patient staff, which they do. Grow through the things that we are going through. I would rather not be at an Iop but if I had to be at one, it would be Keys.

I voluntarily enrolled in this program hoping to get support for my mental health, but ultimately found that leaving was the best decision I made. While some of the staff are kind and well-meaning, the overall approach… felt overly pushy—especially when trying to scale back participation. I often felt pressured to attend additional therapy sessions, which left me feeling more frustrated than supported. This can be especially difficult for people in a vulnerable state. I’ve also made multiple requests for documentation and records to share with other providers, but weeks later, I still haven’t received anything. This lack of follow-through has disrupted my continuity of care. In my experience, the day program lacked depth when it came to addressing mental health, while the evening sessions offered more useful discussion and insight. As with many facilities, insurance was billed heavily, and in hindsight, I’ve found more effective, personalized care elsewhere at a lower cost. I recommend doing your research and being cautious about committing to more than feels right for you. This program may work for some, but it was not the right fit for me.
