I only went to detox, they didn’t tell me that wasn’t an option. When i tried to get my possessions back and leave it was met with a NO. You want your civil rights revoked then go here.

The absolute best inpatient recovery center! There aren’t enough words for me to explain the ways that Pinelands saved my life. The program itself showed me recovery is possible, how to achieve it, how to keep & how… beautiful life can be. The entire staff, the techs the therapists the nurses & everyone else, are for the most part in recovery themselves & truly understand the journey. Kyle, Mallory & Eric are the absolute best at what they do! Everyone at Pinelands had a hand in saving my life & making my sobriety not just possible but an amazing new way of life!

I feel more comfortable staying “anonymous,” but I want to be open and honest about my experience I had. First, I cannot speak highly enough about my therapist, Steph Kinney. She is genuinely one of the best therapists… I’ve ever worked with. 🥹❤️ She advocated for me, supported me, and consistently showed up for me throughout my stay. I truly would not be where I am today without her. I also feel incredibly grateful for the recovery coaches, Kyle, Mallory, the great alumni coordinator Eric. 🥰 They all brought so much compassion, encouragement, and genuine support to my recovery. Steph, Kyle, Mallory, and Eric are people I will always remember. Unfortunately, medication management and communication with certain nursing staff seriously need improvement. Withdrawal and tapering should be individualized because every patient responds differently. There’s literally only one nurse that cares and her name is Carol. All the other ones don’t know what they’re doing and also give you attitude and roll their eyes consistently… very welcoming for 28-30 days!!!! During my stay, I went nearly six to seven days with essentially no sleep while experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, vomiting throughout the day, and requiring multiple ER visits. Despite this, I was still expected to attend every group and meeting, which I did. I genuinely question why someone experiencing severe withdrawal, extreme sleep deprivation, constant vomiting, and recent ER treatment would still be expected to attend every single group as if nothing was happening. There is a difference between encouraging accountability and recognizing when someone is medically struggling and needs appropriate care and rest. The nursing stuff also when my mom called completely disregarded her message telling her that I was doing fine without even checking in with me because they saw me leave my room one time, This already gave the suspicion to my mom that this was sketchy… (2nd ER Visit) Thankfully, after my concerns were escalated to higher management, they were eventually addressed and resolved. The overnight room checks also desperately need improvement. Extremely bright LED flashlights were frequently shined into the rooms and toward patients’ faces, even when we were clearly asleep and breathing. This continued throughout my full 30-day stay, not just detox. Between that and doors constantly slamming throughout the night, getting even 15-20 mins of sleep was near impossible. 👎 this is kind of sad to say, but if I knew that this was going to be the case, I would’ve had a better opportunity just relapsing at the leave of my own bed without Dookie stains.. Outside of those issues, I truly had a meaningful experience and met people who changed my life. Steph, Kyle, and Mallory, thank you for helping me find purpose again and reminding me that there was still so much worth moving forward for. ❤️ I will always be grateful for your support. Overall, I would give my experience 4/5 stars. There are some incredible people working here, but the medical management, communication, and overnight environment need significant improvement. Maybe even a class on manners & respect might be more beneficial for your team at Pinelands, especially the Techs. Love you all!

Pinelands Recovery Center truly saved my life. I don’t know where I would be today without the help, compassion, and unwavering support of the staff. They genuinely care about every person who walks through their doors,… and their firsthand experience allows them to provide understanding, hope, and guidance in a way that’s truly meaningful. I can never thank the team at Pinelands enough for everything they’ve done for me. I will be forever grateful for the care, encouragement, and second chance they gave me. Nothing but gratitude and appreciation for this incredible team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I can’t say enough good things about Pinelands Recovery Center. Coming here was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and it truly changed my life. I’m now almost 11 months sober, and I recently had the opportunity… to come back and speak as an alumni. It was one of the most rewarding experiences because it reminded me just how far I’ve come. I honestly don’t think I would be the person I am today or have the amazing life I have now if I hadn’t come to Pinelands. From day one, every staff member genuinely wanted the best for me. They believed in me even when I struggled to believe in myself, and they created an environment where I felt supported, encouraged, and cared for. Recovery isn’t easy, but Pinelands gave me the tools, guidance, and hope to build a new life. I will always be grateful for everything they did for me. If you’re considering treatment, know that everyone here truly wants to see you succeed. Thank you, Pinelands, for giving me a second chance at life.

This was a really bad facility. The onboarding staff are rude and plainly show they do not care about their clients. The rest of the management staff are simply unwilling to help you with questions, or accommodations.… And all I mean by accommodations is, you forgot your soap? Your problem, not theirs, and don’t even think they will let you leave to go get some. If you try to get help for your mental health but telling them how you feel they will call the police, have you sent to the hospital to spend a week in the inpatient ward and then refuse to take you back. I would recommend a facility called bright life, they have a location in PA. Pine lands is a terrible facility that does not care about its customers, only how much money they can squeeze out of you for not helping you at all.

Pinelands was the best decision I have made in a long time. The support they offer to each individual going through their program and the resources they can connect you with afterwards is unmatched. They truly do care… for all of their clients and alumni and want to provide anything they possibly can to see them succeed. Without pinelands I would not be in a position to show up for myself and my family and I will be forever grateful for the wonderful staff and the life changing experience I had there.

I don’t know where I would be right now w/out the help I received on my recovery from addiction from all the great people employed at Pinelands Recovery Center. All of the therapists/psychiatrists and tech aids were all… so welcoming and caring! Not only for me,but for all the others that we’re suffering from this deadly disease called addiction. Im not going to single out any of the staff because they were ALL WONDERFUL during my time at their facility. So, if you feel you need help with your addiction and are sick and tired of being sick and tired then this is the treatment facility for you!’👍🏻👍🏻

This was the first time I went to rehab. I was so scared. You’re greeted at the door, meet with nurses, introduced to staff then to your room. They take the time to understand your needs. I learned a lot about myself… with the help of many staff members. The food was great, facility was clean. If I needed to talk someone was always there. I’ve been out for a year and Eric, the alumni coordinator still checks on me. Amazing place if you need to get right. Thank you Pinelands

I went to Pineland for the second time in 2026 in 2022. I went through the program but did not work. It. Pinelands is an amazing place. The staff the facility and the programs there are top-notch. The staff understands… what you’re going through from the counselors to the nurses most of them are recovering attics. They are understanding, Caring and tough but not in a bad way. We need sometimes to be put in our place to understand. I 100% recommend Pineland to anyone that really really wants to stop whatever addiction you have you have to be able to work it. I was able to get it on the second time. It is not easy for the staff sometimes to see what comes through the door, but I know that they are extremely happy when they leave through the door with a purpose now in life I also love the food amazing had to put that in there. If you’re tired of being tired and wanna get right and well go to Pinelands it will change your life for the better.

I am what some would call high maintenance. I was very nervous when seeking treatment for my mental health and substance abuse. I was very afraid I would be extremely uncomfortable and to be honest grossed out by any… facility to a point I'd run for the door by day two. My actual experience was the complete opposite. From the moment I stepped into the lobby I was set at ease. The facility was immaculate, the accommodations for the entire month were excellent. Aside from the cleanliness, rooms and facility cleaned daily by the most pleasant women, the dinning hall was also what I would consider above standards for a rehab center. The kitchen staff goes above and beyond to keep the menu rotating with some of the chefs even adding in some fun ethnic personal cuisines. If you didn't like what was on the menu there was a salad bar at lunch and dinner along with options like uncrustables, making your own PBJ, and tons of snacks. As for the most important part, the actual recovery program, I found it to be exactly what was needed. I was able to reset from a very long depression, practice coping mechanisms for anxiety attacks, and almost never think of turning substance use while there. The staff will go above to make sure that you are treated on a personal basis instead of lumping you in as "just another addict". Psychiatry was able to help me find a better medication for my diagnosis than any other professional I have had in the last twenty plus years. Small groups focused on the needs of that group daily. Large groups can become somewhat repetitive but I found the structure and routine of it all very helpful when transitioning back into life outside of Pinelands. They offered various types of self help recovery groups such as AA, NA, and CA. As well as meditation and holistic practices including Refuge Recovery, Reiki, and yoga. I honestly could not recommend this place more to anyone who is suffering from addiction or needs help with addiction caused by depression or anxiety.

I came to Pinelands Recovery ungrateful, fearful, and hopeless. I left (with some trepidation) Hopeful and Grateful. I attend daily meetings, have a sponsor, and am actively working a 12 step program. I have a life… filled with much more healthy relationships with family, friends (old and new), and am learning to live life on life's terms. I cannot recommend a better place to begin the Sober Journey. Thank you Pinelands!!

Having PRC plant the foundation for a life well lived, I’m working with a Sponsor and through Steps in a program with a Higher Power I believe in. I know this may sound cliche, but Pinelands saved my life. When you’re there you don’t feel like a number. You can tell the staff really about you and each other. At no point did any of the programs seemed repetitive… and I learned something new every single day. Every member of their staff played a pivotal role in my recovery. I was at the point of losing hope before Pinelands and now I’m living a sober, hopeful life. Thank you Pinelands.
