So far, nothing bad. Rules are rather lenient and the staff greeted me and made me feel welcome. They cared for me so far given I'm here in treatment and currently 21w 🤰. So far, amazing. I may look crazy but I like the… aesthetics that the rooms give off
Lazy and unhelpful staff
Rooms are colder thanheck
I never got help that I needed. Felt like a prison and institution and they did not help like they said they were going to. Spent 10 days afraid and added to my mental health criss
They're very open and willing.
February 2023.. I was released from Anoka county jail after a 4 month probation violation sentence Homeless and during the middle of a Minnesota winter.🥶. got out on a Friday expected to meet my po 2 days later on a… Monday..... ( so much for celebrating lol) my boyfriend was sober and a full time student in college and living in an all men's halfway house so I wasnt able to go to his place .. but reenrty program convenienty was only 1 block a way..... I went to ask seek a chemical dependantcy evaluating but they wernt doing any more that say and with time running out for m.y po I checked into this place ... it technically is considered a program.... so I figured stick out the ten days get a document stating I completed it then probably probation would back off me .. how ever I didn't expect to be just thrown in to it so quickly and with our notice.... next thai g u know they were wanting to search all my bags and with me fresh off the street I wasn't ok with atht... I had hella drug paraphernalia in my bags I told them I'm not bringing these bags to there program... and that I will return when I drop off my stuff at my mans .... on the 4th day I left for 24 hours.. they issued a missing person report and called my po... I found out later that I had every right to be gone that long that I was aloud one 24 hour pass the whole ten days I was there .... this place sux and they don't help with long term help
The good: the place was very clean. 10/10 would poop in that restroom again. That gets this place to 2 stars, which is just one above the minimum that Google will allow me to rate. That's it for the good. Onto the bad.… In terms of therapy, there is no therapy. Apparently their peer support specialist quit a while back and they haven't hired a new one, which is why there isn't any mental Healthcare happening. The buzzer on the outside door does not work, and residents frequently get stuck outside for 30+ minutes because the staff don't care about doing their jobs (resident safety is a basic part of the job). On my last day there, the nurse refused to give me my morning meds because she had "already packed them up." By the time I got home, it was a couple hours too late to take those doses of medicine, one of which is for my seizure disorder. I'm a bit perplexed as to why this place considers itself a crisis center. There is no actual crisis intervention. The staff here are more like lazy babysitters than mental health workers. I don't know what they're getting paid, but whatever it is, it's too high. Don't waste your time here.
All the staff supported me at my lowest. I traveled home from the desert in Arizona with reentry being my first stop to get the help I needed. They met me where I was at, allowed me to reset, set up mental health and… get into a treatment program for my substance use. I'm 115 days sober and living jn a sober house now thanks to this program. Thank you very much ALL STAFF AT REENTRY
I liked my stay here. The staff were all supportive and I never felt unwelcome or out of place. There were others struggling in tandem, and despite this there was a sense of unity among those who were seeking to recover… from life's hardest pressing issues. Also, it was nice that the staff were diverse and welcoming to all ethnic backgrounds. The Norway house nearby here is a great visit for scandinavian culture, as well as cafe spaces that are hosted by local indigenous ojibwe and lakota. Racial favoritism was not present. The food was generous as someone who has to deal with food insecurity. Perhaps more could be done to provide nutrition boosts to those who have allergies, but the food was the last thing I would complain about for my experience here. You are able to lock your own room if you get a bed, so there's not an issue with feeling secure. You come and go as you please as long as you sign in and out correctly. Don't cause problems for yourself by ignoring rules surrounding this, I didn't and it was a breeze. The only mistake I made was feeling sorry for another client to the crisis home and daring to bring her in my home out of sympathy. Don't do this, and wait until you are out of crisis to help with others in crisis. Jeremy, I still owe you a coffee ☕️
I stayed 10 days here.. And I tried to eat there food and I threw it up.. So I didn't eat a thing there ..i bought and made sandwiches from the store.. they do not like white people at this place
I am someone who is lactose intolerant and allergic to fish, for days I did not have a good meal because they all had milk ,even soup and meatballs , in them or fish, I only ate rice, salad or vegetables. There was meat… sometimes but when I ask for more later, staff said it was all gone. They ran out of bread, eggs ,juice days ago.I asked staff to help they did nothing , they said groceries were cancelled . I talked to the director many times , she pretended to want help me , but nothing changed, it is worse. They will ignore if you say something they don’t like or can’t change.Don’t go there if you have special food requirements.
