I can not express how incredible this program is. My loved one is doing so goid. His whole attitude is changing. Now, something you dont expect is for the family members to receive help. But they do, they really do.… Melissa Costa has truly helped me to understand and to deal with having someone you love with an addiction. She has helped me set boundaries. Im only on week 5, its an amazing thing, She Melissa Costa is amazing. If you need help, your loved one needs help and they are ready. This is the program for you.

This treatment center has by far been the best center for my brother who has been an addict for over 40 years. The admin and staff support in housing, finance and counseling all help hold everyone accountable in a… positive and encouraging way. And his main therapist and family interventional counselor Melissa Cosca has been the center of it all helping counsel and explain addiction to patients and families so that we can all understand, react, respond and approach everything differently in a way that works best for the addict and their families. Her advice has been phenomenal to help us all be successful moving forward as we deal with the daily struggles but also the daily successes. I greatly appreciate her counsel and know she is there for any and all questions indefinitely. Her support and the support group we all have as families and for my brother is what we needed to overcome this horrible disease. We are so blessed to have found it here at stages!

Our son was in this program. 1 year sober this week and just finished his first semester at Tech at 27 years old. Something that we believe made the biggest difference for our son (and us) was the family counseling with… Melissa. We highly recommend this program and will always be grateful. Bob and Michelle

I called them hopeless and defeated, and they accepted me with open arms. I had lost my children, my sanity... I had nothing and no one. My recovery journey was a rough one, but the foundation that Stages laid for me..… it saved my life. I am now sober and my children were returned to my custody and have been with me since. I am studying for a degree in social work and hope to make a difference in the lives of others. I am forever grateful to all the amazing men and women, staff and clients, I met there. Provides everything we lose in active addiction, Stages helped me learn how to live a happy life without the need for drugs, the staff is great all the way around. Place is based on Accountability and that's one of the… main things addicts lose completely.

Living here felt like being in an adult daycare. We were forced to put our phones in pouches like elementary school children, which felt degrading. I found that certain sober-living staff members did the bare minimum… for their jobs and showed little care for the clients. In my opinion, this place is the 'Burger King' of rehabs

I owe everything to this program. It was the structure and stability I needed after leaving my rehab facility. I have a little over two years sober now and I couldn't be more grateful to this program and the staff. It's… not a walk in the park, you have to want sobriety and the peace that comes with that. If you TRULY work on yourself and do what is asked of you you'll more than likely find new meaning and with that a new life. Much love to everyone who had any part in my sobriety!

I am thankful for Stages of Recovery, with their therapeutic groups and one-on-one counseling, we provide a program that works if you work it. I was able to conquer my addiction and learn how to live a life free of… alcohol and drugs.

I can’t say enough about how Stages of Recovery is answering this Momma’s prayers. My adult addict daughter has struggled for 23 years in and out of her addiction with the added layer of mental health issues. Stages… hung in there with us and never gave up helping us navigate through the challenges of getting her the help she needed to control her mental health to set her up to be ready to focus on her recovery. I give it 5 stars really good counselors they really helped me a lought they hold you accountable but also teach you how to have fun without drugs n alcohol really nice apartments really clean

Stages of Recovery is the best treatment facility in West Texas. Everyone from the administration, facilitators, counselors, house managers, and even the interns have a genuine passion for what they do. Stages provided… me with the tools to not only get sober but stay sober. To live life on life’s terms. Would highly recommend to anyone. I am grateful for what Stages of Recovery did in my life.

I found this place through a referral and I am so grateful for that. This is a perfect facility to discover yourself and understand the challenges and possibilities of life. The name well suites to actually what happens… when you are here. Staff here are amazingly skilled and knowledgeable in treating people, they are always there for you day or night. It’s very very affordable and the best part is the aftercare service for lifetime…. And that is priceless. I am so happy to have found this place and I would recommend this to any one that is struggling in a heartbeat… thank you Stages of Recovery.

Stages of Recovery saved my life by getting the ball rolling for my recovery. I’m a little over a year sober and still take part in after care services as well as outreach to the newcomers. It’s such a welcoming and… loving environment that actually cares about your life and well being! It’s worked for my life and many others and if you utilize their services it will work for you! I’ve really enjoyed my therapy services, especially family therapy with Melissa! It helped redevelop my family relationships as well as strengthen my relationship with my spouse. 10/10 all round. Love all the workers there!

I had an excellent experience. Stages membership played a vital role in my recovery. I was able to create good habits at Stages. The clinical staff is 2nd to none.

This place saved my life .... After a second trip to rehab I need to get back to the basics and finish growing up... I also needed cbt, counseling and I needed to be taught the SCIENCE behind why I am an addict.... I… got ALL of that at stages. I can't say enough good about this place and these people. They are my family. This place is worth every penny and every minute of your time if you are attempting recovery.

My son transitioned from inpatient rehab to Stages 4 1/2 mos ago. Based on a recommendation, plus calls with Stephen, we agreed this was the best option for him. This was a faith leap, as we had been in this position… last year, and once he left the inpatient environment it was not long before he relapsed. Though the setup of this program was very different from before - something began to happen in my son's life that was not there the last time. I had an opportunity to spend the weekend there several months ago. This is a community that functions like a family, but although there is positive support, there are parameters and consistent accountability in place. I feel my son has a safe environment while he is healing and recovering mentally and physically. At the same time, it does not seem overly restrictive. He is so appreciative of what this program offers, he intends to stay much longer than I ever believed he would. Stephen is always willing to answer any questions or concerns that I have, and has given our family much needed counsel about boundaries. All of the staff and his counselor Averie have been a tremendous help and encouragement. My son is one day away from 6 months sober. There are no guarantees in recovery - but aside from his own commitment and hard work, I truly believe the support of this program has given him a framework within which to be successful.

My son came home to visit after just two months at Stages for addiction treatment and the change is truly unbelievable. I’ve been so skeptical just from past experience with my son- but this weekend blew me away. His… phone rang several times a day from various people at Stages checking on him, the rapport we could hear from his end of the conversation was priceless. He feels like he’s part of a community for the first time ever. But most importantly- my son was present the whole weekend. We felt his company for the first time in years. The son I’ve mourned for showed back up. We’ve had nothing but support and encouragement from anyone we’ve had contact with at Stages. Even in a moment of uncertainty, his counselor emailed and called me on her day off. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the change we’ve seen in just two months. Some may say it’s still early- but the choices we saw our son make this weekend have me convinced he’s in it to win it finally! Can’t wait to see the future!!! Most parents of an addict can agree that looking to the future in excitement seems like a dream. Anyone researching drug treatment or substance abuse therapy should definitely condsider Stages. I truly feel like my son is in the recovery community he belongs in.

Stages of Recovery helped me on my recovery journey tremendously. When I completed my inpatient treatment stay I transferred directly to the women's sober house (which is in a great location, extremely comfortable, and… a great all around house). I had fears about returning to my hometown in which I had previous instability in. During my stay, I had accountability, discipline, and the entire staff cared about deeply. The programming was great, but my favorite thing about Stages was the connection I had with other clients and the staff as a whole. My counselor, Matt, was phenomenal. He always met me where I was at and encouraged me to be my better self. Stages loved me until I could love myself. I owe so much credit of my journey to this place and I will be forever grateful for everything that they do and have done for me. I am honored to be a part of this family and it is truly a privilege. Thank you all from the very bottom of my heart.

We really didn't know what to expect from Stages when we dropped off our son. The staff was very knowledgeable and committed 24/7 to helping our son. They struck a good balance of providing a safe environment for our… son with a strong encouragement to grow, learn about themselves and how to navigate the complex world we all now live in. We couldn't be more thankful for the Staff at Stages and their process.

I can’t say enough good things about Stages. Steve Medley has gone above and beyond to make this transition for my granddaughter along with Michael who has assisted in so many ways.
