About Recovery Team – Newton Upper Falls
Recovery Team operates from 233 Needham Street in Newton Upper Falls, close enough to Newton and Needham to serve both. That radius takes in Wellesley, Brookline, Watertown and Dedham, all within 5 miles. Newton Upper Falls sits in Middlesex County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.
The facility runs partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Medication-assisted treatment is part of the offer, the approach with the strongest evidence for opioid dependence. Co-occurring conditions are handled concurrently rather than one after the other. Some contact can happen by video rather than in person. The facility works with veterans and military families. Federal registration is held through SAMHSA and licensing through the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services.

Recovery Team – Newton Upper Falls Reviews and Ratings
A review of Recovery Team does not need to be long. If you were a patient or a family member, a few plain sentences on what went well, and what you wish you had known beforehand, will help the next reader.
Could not have been happier with my time at recovery team newton. The facility is clean and welcoming. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Case managers who would do anything to help you, clinicians and therapists and the people… in charge of them were kind, engaging and knowledgeable and genuinely want to help you. To anyone out there looking for help this is the place. (Also not a paid comment here lol just genuinely love this place)
Wonderful staff and team who genuinely care about their clients.
Recovery Team Newton is literally the best therapy place I have ever been too. It is slowly changing what life has in store for me for the better in ways I did not think possible. I literally have so much to thank RTN… for and am beyond grateful to be here.
Experienced the program firsthand. Some of the kindest, and most professional individuals in the field!
Fantastic groups and terrific clinicians. These guys helped me in so many ways- highly recommended for anyone looking for help.
Its nice over here! They have an infinite hot chocolate and coffee machine! Also, therapy here has had a massive impact in helping me secure a better future for myself! Trust the process, they will take care of you.
My experience was really amazing, the people especially the workers are really great & understanding, shout out to Kenny for being there for me & trying everything in his power for me to get up on my feet & better… myself. This place is really good & I recommend it for anybody who needs the help.
Amazing people and staff
RTN was a great program saved my life! Good people good recovery
RTN changed my life! CM Austin and Daphne the clinician were amazing and helped me get more sober time than I ever thought was possible. Recovery is a battle but I’m not alone in it thanks to this program and the… resources and hope they’ve given me! 10/10 would recommend.
I was at Recovery team Newton for almost 3 months and my life has completely changed thanks to all the staff members there. I am 95 days sober today and that would not of been possible without all the help for RTN. If… anyone else is struggling I would recommend this program to anyone who is tired of living in addiction.
Recovery Team Newton is more than a service—they are a lifeline for anyone on the path to recovery. Their unwavering compassion and deep understanding of the challenges people face make all the difference. They don’t… just offer support; they empower you to believe in yourself and your future. Every interaction is filled with encouragement, dignity, and practical tools that help you rebuild your life with confidence. If you’re searching for a team that truly cares and inspires hope, Recovery Team Newton is the guiding light you need. They remind us that recovery is not just possible—it’s achievable, and you are never alone
Great staff and programming!
Exceptional service and facility!
Amazing team always striving to help those seeking recovery! Highly recommend!
Great place and amazing staff.
Rockland Recovery PHP/IOP is by far the best treatment program in Massachusetts. From start to finish, they truly go above and beyond. If you need detox or residential first, they handle everything — they check your… insurance and place you in the most appropriate luxury detox and residential program before you even begin with them. Once you step down to their PHP/IOP, the support gets even better. They offer both men’s-only and women’s-only sober living, plus transportation to and from treatment every day. If you prefer to drive, they even allow you to keep your car during the first week. The sober living homes are clean, quiet, and extremely accommodating — nothing like a typical halfway house. Living together, going to AA/NA meetings as a community, and even having an in-house Sunday speaker meeting from alumni truly strengthens recovery. They operate two addiction co-occurring facilities and one mental health facility, and the staff at all locations are incredibly accepting and supportive. At Rockland Recovery Braintree (where I attended), the program focuses on AA-based coursework, not the same repetitive classes most rehabs offer. Every day brings new information, and over 75% of the staff are either in recovery themselves or have a loved one who is, which makes a huge difference. Every facilitator is licensed and genuinely knowledgeable. If you’re considering PHP/IOP in Boston or Greater Boston, this is the place. They also have the largest alumni program in the state, with monthly events for both current and former clients. Their weekly AA speaker meeting in Milton is the best around (previously held in Quincy). My only suggestion: I wish they offered a Zoom option for the Tuesday alumni meeting for people who can’t make it in person. If they streamed it online, attendance would definitely triple. Other than that, Rockland Recovery is exceptional in every way. Highly recommend!
Great and clean place, great staff, amazing services
