They seem extremely busy and can't ever answer the front desk phone. Oh well.
I saw Mallory for therapy one time, i’ve had several therapists throughout my life and I have never met anyone who is so impersonal, sounds like a robot and that she’s reading straight from the textbook very insane to… me. I could probably be a better therapist to myself than she could to anyone. 10 out of 10 don’t recommend. I also think that they should let patients know ahead of time that if they move, they are no longer going to be able to service them. Rediscover should make it known that they don’t service in certain areas if you move. Was a complete waste of my time and gas, which ain’t cheap these days..
Love everyone here they make u feel like a person very professional same time give you a family feel they have been a life saver from group with mark and one on one with my counselor Kristy even the people who dose are… always friendly and supportive and caring and don’t forget the best security/doorman in town Robert haha Jennifer chelle maggie Megan Lynn if I missed ur name sorry everyone up there is very helpful and nice couldn’t ask for a better treatment program
Had an intake appointment and waited five weeks for a psychiatrist via telehealth The nurse called me half an hour before to get information, I hurried onto the portal and was on 15 mins from appt time. They then… refused to see me I called the nurse manager. He took all weekend to tell me yes that provider is very “poignant” and will cancel your appointment if you are one minute late. (I was on and ready 15 minutes before the appointment) They gave no instructions beforehand, for example, to download teams and to be on 30 minutes early. 15 minutes seemed like a respectable time Nurse manager took all weekend to call me back and say “go to urgent care” I’ve waited 5 weeks, I went to one Intake already In the middle of waiting, they also suggested I do outpatient. They know that I work a 40 hour job and I’m unable to miss work at all, I get to this 2 to 3 hour intake appointment and they tell me I have to do nine hours of group work, I said I obviously cannot do that with my job, They said don’t worry about it. The confusion happens all the time. Do not trust your mental health to this company they do not have any of their people on top of things.
This has to be the most unorganized location. These people have inconveniently cancelled my child's appointment twice now without my knowledge or an attempt to contact me to reschedule. It seems they cannot keep any… staff, as there is a high turnover rate. We have seen three different providers over the last few months .My child's care doesn't seem to be taken seriously.
The case manager was nice but she was a complete waste of time! We moreso just talked about our personal problems. She sold me a dream, told me about resources that I already knew about, seemed clueless and lacked… knowledge of rental agencies, sent me to a couple of places that I did not meet the criteria for, she just made too many broken promises... only for me to be waiting months to find out that sshe hadn't applied to NONE of the rental agencie. So yeah, I eventually did loose my apartment! She referred me to another Case manager that made promises to call me but she would never call me back. Eventually I gave up on her too! 😔 I had a nurse that had the SAME name as me, but she kept calling me someone else🙄 I trusted them to help me but they made my problems WORSE! It's Never a good idea to play with ppl & give them the run around when they need serious Mental help & shelter the Most! It's like all they did was be nosey and wimper about my life struggles 😡 I'll give one star only because I adored my therapist. The ladies at the front desk were sweet as well. The Jokes On Me I guess!
Doctor and nurse don't care about
This place has been a literal life saver anytime I've needed them. They have help with applying to state benefits, and they will help you pay for meds if you can't afford them. They've covered all 5 of mine at least 3… times now, I cannot thank them enough
I used to see Megan and she was the best. After she left I was told because I had no further issues, she would leave me refills. I Went to try to refill my medication and was informed I had none. So I call rediscover… and was told they had discharged me without my knowledge or consent. Now I'm stranded in another state in a hurricane and I can't get medication. The response I got from the receptionist was "sorry, nothing I can do. See someone out there" like it's even an option right now. Really exceptional behavioral healthcare!
They’re really there to help best experience ever and it feels good to finally be validated
Placed on new meds and then dropped from services a month after acclimating to them. Psychiatrist refused telehealth. Cant describe this as nothing less than malicious. Id expect a mental health provider to have some… understanding of mental health issues.
Rediscover helped me COMPLETELY get sober. They also helped me mitigate being insane. Praise Be
0 stars! Terrible place. Super rude and nasty attitude. Carla and her nurse are not professional at all. I was treated bad because I am Hispanic. I had to wait almost an hour to be seen. Then the Carla said she had… “limited time” so we had to rush through the appointment. I absolutely do not recommend this terrible place. The place was also dirty and nasty. Smells disgusting.
Nice people. One of the front desk ladies is so loud when she talks while you are in the waiting area.
My best friend goes here for the methadone clinic abd they honestly are the most supportive place ive ever seen.
Love this spot, staff are great and this place is the real deal!!!
This clinic is absolutely awful. It took me 6 months to get to a dose of 128 mgs. of Methadone, yet they discharged me with no taper off the medication due to hearsay. They are super slow to dose, the counselors there… do not keep your business confidential, they are rude and unfair. They frequently violate HIPAA laws, and they pick and choose which rules apply to which clients. By far the WORST clinic I've ever been to. I would give them zero stars if that were an option.
I started thus clinic as the lesser or two evils when battling many years of heroin addiction and my wife and I came to the conclusion methadone was about the only opiate treatment that we had not given a chance. No… other options had worked for us. Fast forward 8 years and 1 month and we are still here at the methadone clinic. It can be a great alternative to opiate abuse IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR GETTING INTO. If you have never been on a methadone clinic do yourself a huge favor and do extensive research before just jumping in feet first thinking this is the end all magic bullet fix for someone with heroin addiction. This is simply my opinion and many papers and physicians across the internet agree with what I am about to say. Use methadone as a short term means to get through the heroin or fentanyl withdrawal and give yourself 1-4 months on the clinic to get a job and try to get your life back on track and use your time on the methadone as a blessing to not have to deal with that demon from he'll of a withdrawal that opiates give. I would recommend only going to a dose high enough to make you well, not sick and able to function normally like being able to get and hold a job. Always remember the higher the milligram dose you go up, you will one day have to come back down from that unless you plan on making thus part of your life until your buried. The longer you stay on methadone from over 8 years of experience on a daily basis, our bodies become accustom and build a tolerance to things we ingest on a regular and especially a daily basis. So the longer you are on say you get on and stay on 70 for a year straight. Well at the start of the year that 70 was sufficient , it warded off withdrawals until your next dose and seemed to generally help your body function as a member of society. In my experience after being on a dose for many months or years it does not continue to be that therapeutic dose that a year prior it was. This starts the increasing of doses. Tolerance builds and our bodies require more to maintain us from feeling withdrawal symptoms. This is how many people who stay on for many many years require higher doses because our bodies build a sort of immunity to it and what used to last 24 hours fending off withdrawl gradually becomes less and less until say it's only lasting 16 hours now. These are some of the things you need to think about before just going about it willy nilly. I truly believe the easiest way to use methadone to get off of street drugs is to use the methadone as a short term tool to get through the initial intense detox where the majority of relapse occurs. My advice also is to only get up to the milligram that alleviates your withdrawal and allows you to start rebuilding your life. Longterm methadone withdrawal or trying to kick cold turkey is widely known as one of the most uncomfortable and longest lasting withdrawals that exist with ANY substance. So get on beat your initial withdrawal while being cognizant and aware of the risk of continuing to have your dose raised. The lower your dose and the less time you saturate your body on a daily basis in this medicine, the more attainable and comfortable the process will be for you. Hind sight being 20/20 if I knew then what I know now, I would have never gone above 40 and would have only used 40 for my first 7-10 days and would have started my titration at 2 MG a week until I hit 20. Once I got to 20 I would have titration 1mg a week until 0. Then boom your completely off and completed the program in a little over 6 months and would have provided the easiest road to accomplish that goal. These are just my thoughts and opinions on the matter. I have been on now 8 years and I am on 100mg and have been for a long time now because I never wanted to keep going up and end up at 200mg which would be a 4 year titration at 1 MG a week...and the longer your on the more your body will expect and crave it even for months after successfully titrarating all the way down to 0. Don't white knuckle dose. Get an increase if you need it.
