Remedy Therapy – Stuart Detox and Rehab Services
What Remedy Therapy – Stuart offers, on record, is detox and residential treatment. Medical supervision covers the withdrawal period, where alcohol and benzodiazepines carry real risk. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.

Remedy Therapy – Stuart Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 6300 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, Florida, 34997. This address falls in Martin County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Caring staff, decent facility, and okay food/snacks. If you want to get clean and sober this is a good place to start. They will provide a safe place to detox/begin your journey.
This place is the best and helped save my life. I truly can’t thank the staff enough, Joe, Anna, Leo & Elaine are truly amazing . They truly care about their clients and want everyone to succeed. Thank you guys for… helping me get my life back and never giving up on me.
Had a wonderful stay there. All the staff was caring and amazing. Leo really helped me a lot. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs help.
Had a good experience, Lexi is an amazing therapist
A great place. Lexi, my therapist was simply awesome. I have been to 5 therapist in the past and none have ever lovingly challenged me the way she did. She was able to bring stuff out of me, I never shared with anyone,… and I’m so happy I did, like a weight off my shoulders. Because of her I actually feel I have a real chance to win this. Leo is also a god send. As well as Steve the nurse. All the staff were great. My only complaint would be the monotony. And if that’s all I can complain about, it’s a great day!
I completed treatment at Remedy Therapy in good faith and while I was in the program, communication and support seemed very responsive. Unfortunately, my experience completely changed after discharge when it came to… aftercare and continuation of my MAT medication. The medication I was prescribed was an extremely important part of my recovery plan, yet CVS repeatedly stated they were still waiting on information from the prescribing doctor before they could fill it. I reached out multiple times trying to get help resolving the issue and received little to no response after leaving treatment. Aftercare is one of the most critical parts of recovery, and patients should never feel abandoned the moment they walk out the door. Failing to properly coordinate something as important as MAT medication can put someone in a very difficult and potentially dangerous situation. I’m grateful for some of the staff members who genuinely cared during treatment, but the lack of follow-through afterward was deeply disappointing and stressful during a vulnerable time in my life. I hope Remedy improves its discharge communication and aftercare process so future patients do not experience the same situation.
Still sober!! Thanks
I don’t usually write reviews, but this place changed my life. I came here after an overdose and a heart attack, not knowing if I’d make it. Today, I’ve been sober since October 13th, 2021—and haven’t relapsed since.… 🙏The staff truly cared and gave me the tools and support I still use every day. And honestly, the food was top notch too. 😮💨 If you’re struggling, this place can really make a difference. Forever grateful 🤍
This place lies all the time. I was told it was a four week program then found out it is a 3 MONTH program. Stating from the beginning that I was only willing to stay 4 weeks. They do not allow any activity, the rules… change for each patient regarding electronics (even without internet) which I needed for my job. I AMAed at the four week mark for my gallery showing and they refused to give me my phone, or any possessions that I had. Said I could come back to collect them in two weeks. Fought me about it until I told them I would get the police involved. Numerous lawsuits going on and they hide it all. Your personal information is not personal, even if you’re talking in therapy- they openly talk about your sessions to other clients. They also start rumors and ask other clients about people’s sexuality and I do not feel like I could trust anyone, except for the nurses Joanna and PJ— they are the only people who actually made some kind of difference.
Very shady, will only tell you what they want you to know. Will not let a person use their phone to make any kind of call period. Very strict I do not recommend at all. Food was good!
Remedy treatment center has changed my life in so many ways the staff there is so caring and so helpful I would 100 percent recommend that you go to remedy id like to give a special shout out to Lexi my therapist such a… amazing women she changed my life also Sherry the clinical director Josh the activity director he is always positive and is so helpful he truly cares toya the case manager so helpful awesome great personality realist person ive met joe as well and Elaine also shout out to bhts that I loved and we're so helpful and really cared Diane, queen, Tina,Victoria, lashay just has well all loving great people im so great full love u all from the bottom of my heart shout to Leo lead tech always on point good dude they all need a raise ❤️
Would definitely NOT recommend. They do nothing for the family. Never returned a phone call. Never answered a call. Intake was great and made all kinds of promises. Never had person make any plans for discharge… including housing. Fighting among residents. No planning. No refferrals. Poor.
Remedy Therapy is the best rehab in the country. They were so supportive, helpful, and understanding. My experience was amazing. The staff and medical personnel were exceptional. I cannot thank them enough.
Terrible experience. They talked me into going to another place that they own instead of going to a place that would have been better for me. They knew I had other addictions that were more important to address and they… told me it wasn't a big deal even after I said I wouldn't stay sober without the right help and they knew they couldn't do that but they didn't care. They gave me so much drugs that now I can't get off them. They even let me have pills that I admitted to abusing. I relapsed hard as soon as I left their other program because no one bothered to help with my porn addiction and they told me it was fine because I could deal with it later. It wasn't fine. The guilt over the things I did because of my porn addiction made me relapse. No one here or at better tomorrow cared about what I needed. they didn't really listen to me. They just pretended
My experience at Remedy was wonderful, staff have a high importance on your care and the experience is actually tailored to your needs. The only thing that needs work is neurodivergence education for all levels of staff.
I came to remedy in a very dark moment in my life and they helped me so much, I feel like I am equipped to deal with life in a healthy manner that I didnt know was possible before. The groups are amazing and are always… on topics that are relevant for what we all go through. Josh the activities director always had fun activities like ping pong, tye dye, basketball and even ice cream nights. The therapists are amazing and are extremely helpful. All of the staff care and do amazing work. I'm going to miss my remedy family, thankfully I can see them virtually every Monday for group.
Remedy is the most awesome place to start your sobriety journey!!! The staff treats people like they are a part of their family. The facility is clean and free to move about so I didnt feel like I was locked in a jail.… There are not enough words to describe how amazing remedy is!!!
This place is horrible at communicating with families. I called to get a better understanding of the program and express some concerns after my husband arrived. They told me someone would be in contact by the next… morning because it was later in the evening. It took me calling five times in FOUR days just to get some questions answered. I didn't even need personal details, just general program questions. Then I called a few days later to get an update on my husband because he was so drugged up every time I talked to him, he didn't even know what was going on. They told me someone would call me back within an hour or so. They never called me back. Instead of talking to me and reassuring me or even just treating me as a concerned wife and updating me, they told my husband to call me and tell me to stop calling. They have absolutely no family support as far as I can tell. I have worked in inpatient rehab myself and we would never treat family like this. The family has a right to be concerned. They have a right to ask questions and receive compassion. I'm literally astounded at the disrespectful nature I've been treated with. Once I expressed my concerns to my husband's counselor, Lexi, she told me she would be taking the information to their team. Did she get back to me so I knew what they were doing or what was being considered? Of course not. Because that requires compassion and understanding. And I guess I don't matter since I'm not at their facility. This facility is completely inappropriate for my husband's issues and I feel they either don't understand people with both substance use, behavioral addictions, and mental health issues or they just don't care. He absolutely needs to be transferred to a different facility. My husband is willing to go to a place more appropriate for him but he's hesitant because he's getting comfortable and of course they fed his addiction with excessive detox meds so his brain can't even clear long enough to make good choices. Instead of encouraging him to do what's truly best for him (and protecting other clients because of my husband's particular issues), they would rather keep him there to have a body in a bed so they can collect the insurance money. I am very disappointed in their detox program as well. It's not a standard medical detox. It's beyond EXCESSIVE. My husband had a 3 week relepse and when he got there, they gave him so much medication that he was even more high than before he went. He could barely speak. At that point, I have to wonder if they're medicating people for their own comfort to not have to deal with them. I also reached out and spoke to others that have been here recently and they said they felt like the medications given in detox were too much and not appropriate for what they were withdrawing from. I additionally heard rom other clients of remedy that there's a very loose policy regarding fraternization. Their "policy" is that men and women aren't supposed to sit close to each other, swin together, etc. However, they do not reinforce this. According to one former client, she was swimming when one of the men jumped in the pool near her and staff just said "well you're not supposed to be in there together but whatever" and they did nothing and walked away. What a great opportunity to fraternize, or worse be assaulted! Another client observed men and women going into the same bathroom together and apparently everyone knew they were "hooking up" and staff just didn't care. If you have a significant other that you want to really focus on their recovery, especially if they have issues with looking for attention from the opposite sex, this is not the place for them. I am sure that there are some caring people here (at least towards the clients, not so much with family), and they probably have a decent program. But none of that matters if they are not willing to do what's best for their clients, strictly enforce rules, more separation of men and women, and be considerate of the damaged relationships and hurting spouses that are waiting for their loved ones.
my best friend was only at remedy for a month but during her stay she was consistently put through trauma and turmoil everyday some of which would include staff verbally berating her or bullying her to being denied the… proper amount of calories in her diet she would also be consistently denied medication prescribed to her by her doctor because remedy didn’t allow her to take it she was also forbidden from using painkillers prescribed by her dentist after having surgery and remedy forced her to deal with the pain and only proved her tylenol for relief even after she asked for her prescribed medication. remedy also wants you to believe they’re a voluntary treatment center when in reality if you try to leave on your own terms even if you’re healthy they will do everything in their power to make you sound mentally unwell so they can baker act you remedy is not a place where you can expect to get help remedy does not care about you a they only care about your money if you want genuine help it’s in your best interest to find somewhere else.
I LOVED THIS PLACE AND IT WILL FOREVER BE THE REASON I CAME BACK TO GOD! I was able to share how I felt and not be judged, I was able to share about Jesus and not be judged most importantly, and I was able to have MY… OWN BIBLE STUDY GROUP!!!! There’s a few people that I want to shout out and yes all the reviews have one person that stands out and this is Josh D! Josh was an important part of my journey at remedy and he made his mark not only in my recovery but in my spiritual journey to! He was an amazing mentor and teacher he really does care and LOVE everyone that comes through the front door. He is so incredibly supportive and kind it’s unbelievable how much he reminds me of what a Christian Should act like. Next off we got Cindy! Oh Cindy was awesome she challenged me to be who I was meant to be. She helped and always had time to talk to me even when her list of work was full. She has incredible energy and I will always remember her meditations. Last but not least we have Lexi the therapist! She is incredibly helpful and sweet and has an amazing view of what we really need. If you need something done go to Lexi she will make sure your needs are taken care of. Don’t let me forget about the wonderful techs and nurses. They are so kind and supportive and encouraging. Everyone at remedy really does care and are for you. Thank your everyone at remedy this was amazing to be a part of my life story. Yours truly Michael Potter aka BigMac
Don't waste your time trying to send any family member here it's all about insurance money they don't care about your family
So, I feel like my review should really hold some weight, since I've been to treatment centers all over the country. If you REALLY want to get clean and sober, this place is the one🙏🏼 The staff is phenomenal, from the… director Cindy, to the counseling staff (Lexi is the best) to the behavioral techs (give Leo a raise) they are ALL willing to help you ANY WAY they can seriously. So if you've made up your mind that you want to change your life, come here🙏🏼
I want to shout out all of the techs at remedy, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get clean and stay clean. The techs are amazing & super helpful thank you to Cesar, Andrew, Mike, Queen, Tina, Leo,… Victoria and Malecia!! These people have helped me change my way of thinking and given me the advice & encouragement I needed to change my life. Overall just a great detox/rehab.
When I first got here I did not want to stay at all. After about 1 hour of trying to get me to stay i decided to stay. That was the best decision I could have made. This place is great. The staff here is the best staff… I came across. I been in at least 7 treatment centers before. This place by far has the best staff. From the techs all the way up to the best clinical director. Every body cares about you here and makes sure you are comfortable. Spoil alert they also have a great swimming pool. My therapist set me up so well for the next chapther of my life. So if you are looking for a great treatment center to go to. I recommend you come here. Every staff member here treated me so well. You will see what I what I'm am talking about when you get here. The clinical team is awesome 👌. Josh is the best he keeps you busy and is serious about recovery and alway smiling. Mrs Cindy has to be clinical director of the year. I could go on on for hours. Give it shot you will not regret it.
