Reprieve was a wonderful experience in a dark time of my life. The community was the greatest and the staff very friendly and genuinely helpful. I recommend anyone experience the downfalls of addiction..this place is… like home

Looking back at my recovery journey Reprieve is where it started for me . I walked in and immediately just felt different . The guidance, the classes, & the love there is truly amazing and life changing ! I just want to… give some shoutouts to some of the OG reprieve staff members Ron,Haley,Levi,Jeff, & Alex ! Yall are truly amazing leaders and faces of Reprieve. Yall impact & change many lives. I am forever great full for yall & my foundation 🤞🏼🫶🏼

I’m incredibly grateful for the help and support this place gave my brother during one of the most difficult times in our lives. He was struggling with addiction and it was affecting our entire family, but the care,… guidance, and compassion he received helped him get clean and start turning his life around. Seeing him healthy and hopeful again means more than I can put into words. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for real help and support for a loved one struggling with addiction.

Awesome staff and professional group sessions. Best choice I've ever made for my recovery. Hayley did my intake and she was amazing. I will forever owe my life to all the people at Reprieve.

One thing that really grinds my gears is misinformation, especially when it comes to something as important as communication with a loved one. The entire time, this was presented to us as a voluntary program. I spoke… with someone countless times beforehand about what this would entail for my brother, and at no point were we told that communication with him would be extremely limited during the first week. We completely understand that having access to a phone can add stress, and I actually agree that taking that stressor away could be beneficial. What prompted me to leave this review, however, was the lack of clear and consistent communication from the staff. Within the last 24 hours alone, I have called more than 3–5 times and spoken with multiple different agents. Each person gave us different information. At one point, I was told that they have access to a phone and can call whenever they want, and that if my brother wasn’t calling, it was probably because he didn’t want to. I was then told that they get 15 minutes each night to use a staff phone. I was also repeatedly told that a message would be given to him and that he would call us by the end of the day. Finally, after my entire family called repeatedly, the director returned my mom’s call and explained that communication is limited during the first seven days. Again, I completely understand the reasoning behind the limited contact. What I don’t understand is why this wasn’t communicated to us from the beginning. If we had been given accurate expectations upfront, we would have understood and respected the policy. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, not because we expect unlimited communication, but because we were given conflicting information by multiple staff members. When you’re trusting a program with someone you love, clear, accurate, and consistent communication should be the bare minimum.:::

if you're looking for a warm welcoming staff look no further everyone from the bht's up to the therapist are going above and beyond to help people thru trying times and demons if you or a loved one is ready for a change… or need tools to help fight for sobriety then reprieve and the staff is waiting for your call I completed the program and they assisted every step of the way Hope and Haley saved my life.

After doing residential at Genesis House, i was super hesitant to continue with PHP & IOP because I thought I didn't need it. But after arriving at Reprieve, I realized how much more help I needed. From the moment I… arrived the staff was super supportive (they are all in recovery themselves). Jeff the alumni coordinator, Haley, and Erin, as most of the techs, were so caring and kind. It made me feel at home right away. The living arrangements are super comfortable and right down the street from an amazing AA clubhouse that has been around for years. The groups and my therapist helped me with figuring out some of issues around my substance abuse issues. It is one day at a time. But with Reprieve I have had a lot of support !! Even after leaving! Please consider Reprieve if you want to learn about the 12 steps, yourself and true recovery.

If you really want to change your life this is the place to go, the people they employ genuinely care for all the clients in their care. The techs are amazing, always there to talk when you need someone to talk to. I… will forever be in debt to reprieve for what they have done for me, and all they want is for people to get better. I’m glad this is the place I chose to better myself and will forever be grateful for what they have done for me.

When I arrived at Reprieve Recovery Center, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. My marriage of more than two decades had ended, I was struggling with depression and alcohol addiction, and I had lost sight of… who I was. Looking back now, choosing to come to Reprieve was one of the best decisions I've ever made. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with compassion, dignity, and genuine care. The staff didn't just focus on helping me stop drinking—they helped me understand myself again. The six-day-a-week group classes became the foundation of my recovery. Sharing, listening, learning, laughing, and many tears alongside others who understood what I was going through made an incredible difference. The individual therapy, psychiatric care, medical support, and wide variety of therapeutic approaches gave me the opportunity to heal emotionally, mentally, and physically. Every member of the team made me feel seen, valued, and capable of building a better life. Reprieve helped me rediscover my self-worth, self-esteem, and self-love. They taught me the importance of radical self-reliance while also showing me that accepting support is a strength, not a weakness. They encouraged me to care for myself so that I could, in turn, be there for others. Today, I have been able to build a life that I truly love. I moved back to South Lake Tahoe, adopted my wonderful dog, Tango, live close to my 91-year-old mother, and wake up each day excited about my future. I'm healthier and stronger than I've been in years, and genuinely happy. Recovery has given me my life back. One thing that continues to impress me is that Reprieve's support didn't end when I left. They still reach out regularly to check on me, and that ongoing care speaks volumes about who they are as people and as professionals. To everyone at Reprieve Recovery Center: thank you for believing in me when I struggled to believe in myself. You didn't just help me recover from addiction—you helped me rediscover the person I was always meant to be. I will always be grateful.

This place helped save my life. The staff are very supportive and genuinely care for you on your recovery path. They gave me all the tools I need to live a happy and fulfilling life after treatment. This is the absolute… best treatment center in Florida in my opinion.

Reprieve helped me rebuild a life that I thought was not fixable, from the day I came to the day I left the experience I had were unforgettable!

Since leaving reprieve I’ve been able to get my life back together. They taught me what I was suffering from and helped me learn to overcome my problem. I am very happy I made the decision to go there for help.

Extraordinary is the word I would use to describe Reprieve Recovery. I had the privilege of attending the partial hospitalization program(PHP), continuing through their intensive outpatient program(IOP). The structured… environment was exactly what I needed. From the moment I arrived, the BHT staff were amazing! They were incredibly helpful and so friendly, uplifting, and understanding; all the while, constantly maintaining a professional attitude. They always made sure that our needs were met, and that we arrived to groups, meetings, and other activities as scheduled. The Housing itself was very comfortable. It was very well-maintained. We had a cleaning schedule that we adhered to, which I’m grateful for, because it helped me to build new patterns of behavior for myself that I can be proud of now. The clinical staff, along with the therapists were also wonderful. I met with the doctor on my first day at the clinical building where we discussed, not only my addiction/alcoholism, but my mental health as well. And, I can’t possibly thank the therapists there enough for all their knowledge and compassion. The facilitators, the case managers, and all the rest of the staff can’t be thanked enough as well. I honestly would recommend Reprieve Recovery to anyone who wants to be free from the grips of alcoholism and/or addiction and is looking to change their lifestyle for the better!

The BHT staff is great, as well as the housing and groups. Just keep in mind that once you dont do what they want you to do they will kick you out like garbage. I was to be discharged after completing the program on the… 11th of April and do after care. They wouldn't take my insurance at this location so they tried to send me to their other place in New Jersey. After i declined, one of the owners Nick, recommended me to another recovery center 30 mins south in Boynton beach that would take my insurance. I accepted but changed my mind a day or two later after finding a recovery center closer and after i told them, the guy Nick had me kicked out of the housing immediately. He said “we no longer want you in the community anymore”. And even after i completed the PHP program in full, Nick had me sign a form saying that it wasn't fully completed when it indeed was. All they want is your money and will milk your insurance companies. They charge them over 500$ for urine analysis that they do almost every other day. I was a great client and did everything i was supposed to do. Never missed a meeting, was never late, always kept my room and areas neat and clean but once they saw i wasn't gonna go the recovery center they wanted me to go to, they kicked me off to the curb.
