Riverwalk Ranch – Mansfield Detox and Rehab Services
What Riverwalk Ranch – Mansfield offers, on record, is detox and residential treatment. Withdrawal is managed under clinical observation before other treatment begins, which matters most in the first seventy-two hours for alcohol and benzodiazepines. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Riverwalk Ranch – Mansfield Reviews and Ratings
Reviews are one way to learn about Riverwalk Ranch in Mansfield. Patient and family accounts in this section can be read next to the levels of care, insurance and accreditation shown on the rest of the page.
Very attentive staff my case manager Courtney and my therapist Bianca were incredibly helpful any time I needed anything and the nursing staff is more than accommodating 24 hours a day can’t say enough about all of the… staff in general
My brother in law finally made the decision to take the first step in sobriety and he did all things required to be admitted. They picked him up today as scheduled and drove him to the rehab just for him to be turned… away at the door for a pre existing health issue that he discussed during his assessment. To say the family is disappointed and angry is am understatement. Since they decided not to except they took him and dropped him off at a house where he used. Absolutely disgusting. Shame on y'all.
This place is in high demand for a reason! Try not to be discouraged by the lack of space - there are plenty of good rehabs in the area, but this one tends to stay full most of the time. My case manager, Courtney, has… been very helpful in managing my issues in and outside of Riverwalk ranch. I like many of the therapists - I’d say that Richard, Johnny, and Erica (in no particular order) have been most helpful in my recovery. I stayed for 45 days, but 60 and 90 day stays are also available depending on your insurance. 45 days is generally the minimum program length. I only stayed in the detox room for two days, but many people stay for a week or more. The detox room is rather annoying. I can’t speak on the women’s end, but the men’s detox room is right by the main outside door and is often loud. The rooms are rather densely packed so that can get old, but I adjusted to it rather quickly. I’ll give a shoutout to the recovery coaches Bo, Samantha, Sierra, and Taylor. If you come here please treat them well because they deal with a lot! Overall I give this place a 9/10. There could be some stronger structure at times, but I do like the sense of independence you can maintain here relative to other rehabs I’ve been to (just two). Worth it
Riverwalk Ranch is such an amazing program. The staff are amazing. Chelsea J, Courtney, Beau, Johnny, Samantha & all the other staff are so great & helped me through one of the toughest times of my life. COME TO… TREATMENT HERE.
Wonderful treatment center full of staff who care about their work and clients. Highly recommend!!
This place literally saved my life! If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about its clients, it’s hands down this place! You will not find another place in the world that really cares about your physical,… mental and spiritual wellbeing. The Recovery coaches take the time to truly get to know each one of their clients and really form a bond like no other. Beau, Samantha, Michael and Chelsea are angels in human form. From inside jokes to knowing something is wrong before you do, they truly have that gift to reach those who consider themselves a lost soul. Case Managers Kodi and Courtney really go way above and beyond what they are called to do and NEVER make you feel like you’re too much work. The therapist here are exactly what God called them to be!!! They can be serious when needed but here you will find them get down right silly with the clients, playing games, making recovery not just important but showing us that you really can be anything you want to be if you just put the work in! Thank you Ranch family for giving me back my life and pushing me forward even when I wanted to quit!!!
Truly a life changing experience. Beau, Alix, Robert, Chelsea B, Michael, Khyzreal, Samantha, Sierra, Valerie, Courtney, the amazing nurses, and even the cleaning crew, all of them contribute to the positive environment… that help open eyes to make the change for the better. The therapists are top notch, and offer so many insights on bettering oneself. The support is heaven-sent and genuine. Thank you, every one of you! Much LOVE!
For anyone really wanting to overcome their addiction I highly recommend Riverwalk Ranch. The entire staff from nursing to therapists evermore was very cordial and caring. I highly recommend RWR. Gary
I just left Riverwalk Ranch, and I want to give a special shout-out to some truly incredible people who made a lasting impact on my recovery. Bo—thank you for always showing how much you genuinely care and for… consistently going above and beyond what your job requires. You've always been the person I could count on whenever I needed anything. Riverwalk Ranch would truly be lost without you. You stand strong in your recovery, and it shows in everything you do. No matter how busy you are, you always make time for a client who needs you. I can say that from personal experience. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication. You make a difference in more lives than you probably realize. A very special thank you as well to my counselor, Alek, and my case manager, Janelle. Your support, guidance, encouragement, and belief in me helped make my time at Riverwalk a success. I truly don't believe I would have made the progress I did without both of you. If you're struggling with addiction and are genuinely ready to get clean and sober, I wholeheartedly recommend Riverwalk Ranch. They don't just treat addiction, they take the time to listen, teach, and help you understand the disease while giving you the tools and support needed for lasting recovery. Thank you, Riverwalk Ranch, for giving me the foundation to build a better future. I will always be grateful.
I really want to give a huge shout out to Beau for being such an incredible source of inspiration to my husband and I both as we navigated challenges during residential treatment at River Walk Ranch. If it weren’t for… him we likely would not have found the courage and willingness to stay put and allow ourselves to time to heal. He consistently showed up to work every shift during our 53 day stay and not only did he have a high positive energy but he was always willing to listen to us no matter what it was. I saw him calm down other clients and talk them off the ledge many times as well. When he shared his story it brought me to tears and gave me strength and hope for my own recovery. Beau didn’t have to come to work and give that extra time and effort to each and every client the way that he did but I for one will never ever forget him!
This place is an insurance scam with a revolving door. They aren't there to help. They killed my husband. They didn't even call me to notify me of his death. I learned hours later when the corner's office called me.… When I arrived, they had all his items piled in a corner. They lied about calling an ambulance. I learned that a roommate gave him the drugs. The facility had staff who would warn them about drug tests, so they kept clean urine on hand. The facility never checked on its residents. They would tell him that if you can't get better here, you won't get better anywhere else. We sent him with the hope and promises that he would get help. And now I have 2 daughters without a father. I wish we had never called Riverwalk Ranch for help. Each time I edit this, Google moves my review to that date. I originally posted over a year ago. Since then, there has been an influx of positive reviews, as if the facility is actively campaigning for them. Please read all the reviews. I wished I had read Amal's review, as this was an accurate representation of the facility. Please do not send anyone that you love to this facility. Another fatherless father's day for my kids.
Would recomend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction. The therapy staff is top notch. The entire staff is warm and friendly. Shout out to Beau (RC) he went above and beyond his reg. duties. Always checked on… the clients and helped with anything they needed, always has a smile, and gave great recommendations whenever clients needed.
Definitely a good place, Max is an excellent coach. I recommend 100%.
My experience at Riverwalk Ranch has truly been life changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt supported, welcomed, and treated with genuine compassion and respect. The staff created an environment where I could focus… on healing and beginning my recovery on the right track. A special thank you to Alek and Koti for their encouragement and support throughout my stay. I am also incredibly grateful to the other therapists, Lisa and Richard, whose guidance, patience, and insight helped me work through difficult challenges and gave me tools I can continue using moving forward. Thank you as well to the RCs — Beau, Chelsea, and Courtney — for always showing kindness, understanding, and consistency every day. Their support made a bigger difference than they probably realize. I am thoroughly grateful for the care, structure, and encouragement I received at Riverwalk Ranch. This was an important first step in my recovery journey, and I will always appreciate the people here who helped me find hope again.
"I cannot recommend Riverwalk Ranch highly enough. The facility is clean and safe, but what makes it special is the staff, especially Beau. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to tailor the… program to individual needs. They helped me find my self-confidence again and gave me the practical tools I needed to build a stable, sober life. This place truly treats you like a human being, not just a number."
Beau, Chelsie, Richard, Lisa and Janelle were awesome. Great team that helped me get the treatment I needed
Meredith is a angel and down to earth, she understands how stressful the next step in recovery can be, but makes it acceptable and so accessible on what's out there to help you find your next step in recovery. She's a… amazing human! 😇 👼 😇
Im confused about Riverwalk ranch my boyfriend /well he broke up with me at 40 days, is currently here 50 days in, since being here we went from talking everyday after 7 days of detox, to every other day at day 15, to… he has completely cut me off day 40, to taken me off his ROI and everything with the only thing he said is Im making thing difficult for him by asking questions, addressing some of the issues we have had, to me wanting to be educated about his recovery, to that he depends on me to much, and at 3 weeks in he said he cant come home because of the drugs that are 2 miles away out in the country which we have a dirt road no neighbors the whole no bad in this area gotta go get in the car to get it, or in his case they will bring it to the main road, so he isnt gone to long for me to question anything. When he took me off ROI he no longer is to have contact with me which is there policy no contact with anyone on the ROI, caseworker, RC is to dial number monitoring phone calls, however he used a ladies cellphone outside in the sitting area to call me left a message and during this message he made his request of what he wanted and didn’t hang up the phone and what was said in the background is (he dropped his shirt, he told her to cashapp him, and she said she lost her ring) I contacted the facility director who voiced she can not confirm or deny any of the situation however the lady’s phone that was used was one of the caseworkers there, Now I asked how is it appropriate to let a client who is not supposed to use his personal phone is to use someone elses phone? Also how is it appropriate for said employee not to even introduce herself before handing her personal/work phone to client? Also how is it appropriate to have employees meet a client without the clothes on? Also this same employee had met client earlier in the day which he used her phone to contact me at this time also again another message was left for his request of item and in the background employee says ( lets go to my office, you can use the phone while walking that if Haley can walk around on the phone why not you) How is any of that even appropriate? Now my boyfriend is completely no communication. Before being removed from ROI with multiple call to get my questions answered about simple processes of guidelines of the facility, visitation, phone calls,, medication used, even what things are in place for the families during this process no response only we have seen the client this morning, he seems fine, well maam he called me last night upset about something and want to check on him, nothing just crickets. I love my boyfriend he has been in addiction for many years with dry spells on his own but has been active addiction for 4 yrs with me in his life, and no I am not a user, I am clean, and now he is somewhere hopefully getting new knowledge, new help and tools to keep recovering but somehow since being here he has pushed his only person in the world out. Again this place confuses me not what we were told during the first calls no family involvement in this particular case
I'm so grateful God put me here to heal me and transfer me into my calling! Also grateful for the RCs that made it happen! I'm going to start out recognizing Bo Gates I noticed how he works and he was there every day… always lending a helping hand and humbled himself in the most stressful situations. And also Dane and Tierra you're some of the most gifted people I've ever seen in my life and you truly are called to do this! Thank you Riverwalk Ranch for saving my life! P.S. To Chelsea thank you for coming up to the hospital and saving me and telling them quote on quote " He has to come today we're not waiting for tomorrow and I was like thank God! 😂 I Honestly love y'all from the bottom of my heart thank you.
So basically I also left because I wanted to go somewhere else to be closer to home and the whole time I was in a room with 8 people everyone was detoxing and most of the people would snore and would shit on themselves… or throw up on the bathroom always stayed dirty...it was small and compacted and not everyone could sit at the one table they just had...food was not appetizing at all...and when I try to leave they literally try to hold u back even tho your mind is made up and have u talking to like 6 people and constantly trying to hold u back. Like if I want to leave for personal issues just let me leave please. Also forgot some of my clothes and called back and said they didn't find anything basically someone stole my stuff or didn't bother try to look for it or ask around. Other then that the staff was nice but it just wasn't for me and I also just wanted more privacy instead of sharing a room with 8 people. I don't see why they don't tell u that from the beginning.
My husband & I are incredibly grateful for our experience at Riverwalk Ranch Rehab. What truly sets this place apart is the team approach—they assign you one therapist, but every therapist contributes in meaningful ways… to help guide you through your emotional & mental healing. The case managers go above & beyond, helping you learn how to navigate life on life’s terms, which has been so important for us as we step back into the real world. The RCs (Recovery Coaches) are amazing—they’re always there & serve as a direct link between you, your therapist, & your case manager, making sure you’re supported every step of the way. The nursing staff is also outstanding—efficient, attentive, & quick to act if additional medical care is needed. We always felt safe & cared for. We walked in broken but walked out with a firm foundation, God holding us by our right hand All in all, it was a beautiful journey. Riverwalk Ranch didn’t just help us heal as individuals—it strengthened our marriage and gave us a solid foundation to walk forward in recovery together. We walked in broken but walked out with a firm foundation, God holding us by our right hand. We can't recommend it enough! ❤️ Buster & Tamela Duke

Can’t explain how much I changed here. Came in lost and left a new man. I was treated with kindness by all the staff. Johnny was my therapist and is a great guy who helped me mentally understand myself and my addiction.… He is awesome! Chelsea is not just an RC, she is a wonderful woman with a heart of gold. She cares about everyone’s recovery so much and really made me feel better every time we chatted. Beau is the man!! We shot hoops all the time and he was a great role model for me as a young man. Richard cares about what he does and always checked on me even though he wasn’t my therapist, I grew close to him and looked up to him. Lisa was a ball of energy and I loved every second of it. She motivated me every conversation we had and goes above and beyond for clients. Mikela and Alek were so knowledgeable and had the best vibes. Mik even personally bought me an AA book which was very thoughtful. They both taught me so much in group and I’m thankful for them being there. Colton’s groups were my favorite he opened my eyes spiritually and I’m still using his teachings since I’ve been out. Cat was so smart and poured her heart into every group she taught. She made me feel confident I can beat this addiction just like she did herself. I highly recommend Riverwalk Ranch to anyone struggling with substance abuse. It changed my life and taught me how to be human again! I love and miss all the staff. Ya’ll helped me more than ya’ll even know❤️
During my time at River Walk Ranch not only did the staff see me change, I noticed the change myself... Years of incarnation and addiction led me down a dark road and with the help of Lisa H. and John E. along with the… rest of the staff im on the path to being a better father and person in general... Thank you all, and much love
Riverwalk Ranch truly changed not only my life but my husband's life as well. RC Lisa picked me & the conversation we had gave me hope when I was at my lowest. I needed that bc I was scared, desperate, lost, and broken.… Beau is phenomenal! He uplifted me believed in me and was extremely supportive and compassionate. Keiuna has impacted my life tremendously. My husband and I shared some private and personal things going on in our life and the knowledge she shared with us helped us grow stronger as individuals, a couple and most importantly parents. Terrica is super friendly hardworking and determined to help every single person there. She brought so much joy to me on days that were difficult. Koti & Lisa are literally two of the greatest women I have ever met and I appreciate them taking great care of my husband and I. They truly went above and beyond for us. My therapist was G'Meciah let me just say it was truly an honor working so closely with her. She literally helped me grow as a woman. Her compassion hardwork patience support and dedication made a significant difference in my life. I'm so thankful for everything she instilled in me. Alek will forever be one of my favorite therapists. His group was one of the first groups I attended and the message he delivered assured me I was exactly where I needed to be. Richard, Ashton, Clint, Bianca & Erica taught me so much and in my opinion are the reason Riverwalk Ranch is so meaningful and life changing. Director Chelsea is incredible and a strong woman who doesn't get the credit she deserves. Riverwalk Ranch will always be a huge part of my recovery journey and I will forever be grateful for everything I learned while I was there.
The best place to start a new life free of drugs and get your life back. Koti, Lisa, Clint,Richard, Ashton, Johnny, and last but not least, Erica did a phenomenal job with my wife and I. As far as nursing staff, the… man, Bradley always took care of me. As far as RC's, hands down the best support you can get( Beau,Terrica, Keana and Robert) and always cared about me and my family while I was there. Keep up the good work guys but my advice for newcomers, if you truly want to succeed stay away from Jannelle Enos as your case worker, look for the ones who have the best interest in helping at heart .
I first went to Riverwalk ranch years ago and took it for granted if you're able to get their cat it's a wonderful counselor Lisa and Chelsea the director or all bad ass people
It's a halfway house for prisoners that are on paper.... During my 3-day stay ...room 6 stole from me ...if you want to surround yourself by ex-cons and individuals themselves seems like they don't want to change...… don't waste your money on this place
Koti, Clint, Beau, and Robert were amazing! Koti was my case manager and Clint was my therapist. They were very professional, loving and caring! They both helped me through my healing process at Riverwalk Ranch.. I… couldn't have been blessed with a more caring duo. I pray they never leave and keep touching lives as they have touched mine and my families life. Beau, my dawg.. that man helped me so much on the RC side of things, he is very smart and caring and honestly deserves to be in a higher position. He has a heart of gold and truly cares about everyone in there, and my guy Robert, I cant say enough, he has a bright future ahead with the Ranch. He also has a huge spot in my heart, along with Clint, Koti, and Beau. Robert was so loving and caring and always helped me and was there to talk to me and help me with my stay at the ranch. I was truly blessed to have these guys in my life and my recovery. They all had a huge impact to my road to recovery!
