Salina Regional Health Center – Salina

After initial peek in by dr. was forgotten for a additional 3 hours. Still wasnt seen or any medical treatmeant done. Even hit call light received no response. After 4 hours of not bring checked back on. Just went home

While on a lengthy camping trip, my husband became ill and we went to Salina Regional Hospital. So far from home, Pittsburgh, we were cautious. What a wonderful relief that our experience was exceptional. From the ER to… the OR staff, surgeon and Floor 5 staff, the care and kindness were amazing. I just can’t thank them enough. The care my husband received was best ever received. Pittsburgh hospitals do not hold a candle to Salina Regional. Along with care, the values of the hospital, people and town were heartwarming

Fast friendly and got antibiotics and a iv in me with in 15min of walking in

The billing office and department is very rude especially a women named eraselle

Husband has been broken by this hospital. No body cares about the fact they have taken a happy man and put him in such a dark place he wants to end things

Never had a good experience here since I was a kid. When I went because my severe depression I was just meds and went to see a Dr afterwards at a different facility and they were like why’d they prescribe you these.… Forgot exactly what they gave me but it wasn’t for me. They also labeled my fiance as suicidal when she wasn’t told me I couldn’t visit but her friend could when we were both at the facility when she tried to leave cause the claim they made. Backwards way of thinking, I’ll just go to a different facility when I need help.

This hospital deserves every bit of 5 stars from the front desk to the nurses to the Dr . To X-ray catscan dept to everyone are so great here I wish this type of care was every place I travel they did a fantastic job .… Thank you

This place is amazing and hands down best hospital in kansas for Nursing medical staff! were amazing going above and beyond for all the patients and didnt have issues they truly care. Sadly have to update this review. I… did run into issuses with doctors being to aggressive with patients verbally. Brushed it off but I deserved better so I am changing this review. They need to keep patients in the loop on care plan and not hit patients with surprises. I wanted information on different mental health facilities before picking one and the case worker decided herself that she was not going to do that and told them I agreed to go to the salina one when I didnt and none of the questions I had were being answered till I found out they were trying to discharge me and send me over before they could I had to advocate.... they threatened to force me and threatened if they did they would send me to a facility of there choice. (they cant legally do this if you request to they have to give options and if you want to leave you have a right to a state screener to be discharged.) Also not a good thing to do with someone admited willingly due to suicide attempt. Another issue is they are sending bills in other family members names for me.... when corrected in the system they argue about resending the notice in the correct name.....

My husband was brought in by ambulance from Abilene Memorial. He had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Dr. Curtis Kauer who assists people at Salina Regional. He is a horrible person. 😡 He uses threats… and extortion as a way of manipulating his patients. (If you don’t do xyz, I won’t do the catheter in your heart) In addition, when he came back into the room after I spoke with the director he would not leave when asked. This is why the score is only a 1. ADAM (Charge Nurse on 3SE) and Gunner (nurse) were amazing. Adam listened to what I had to say, acknowledged my fear, heard my feelings about the doctor and then formulated a plan. Adam was the clam to my storm! He went way above and beyond! THANK YOU! Gunner was the nurse once my husband got to a room. He was kind and patient. He had fantastic bed manners. He was funny and very attentive. He answered questions without an attitude! It is my prayer that Adam and Gunner are rewarded for being like a fire cracker lighting up the sky!! ❤️

Very poor hospital.

I drop off labs from nursing homes- and every-time I go in staff is so rude. My family had also spent the night in the ER recently and my sisters nurse was actually so kind- wasnt shocking to find out she was agency and… not an actual staff member. We need to work on paying staff here better salaries- because then maybe theyd actually get some kind people to stick around

EVERYONE up there needs to explain things to their patients and when a family member has a question, don't act like they are being inconvenienced to answer it. My 85 year old Aunt had to ask me after the PA left what… she meant because this lady spoke over her head. If you can't treat a patient/family member with respect, you should change your profession.

Salina regional heart clinic has the most rude receptionist i have every delt with. She has a major attitude looks down on customers checking in has no people skills and need to have an position where she soes not work… with people . I would never recommend this department of the hospital to anyone

Wet to the ER early this morning. My nurse was CJ! He was amazing. Very kind a patient!

They won’t even put a cast on a broken arm. They make you pay for a splint, schedule an appointment with them at a different place so they can charge you for extra visits

I had been sick for a month, went to regional several times to be pushed off and sent home. I drove to Wesley in Wichita and have been admitted to the hospital as they check for answers finally! Do NOT go regional!… Drive that hour and save your own life honestly!

You don’t get real care until you move up in the hospital or you are almost dead. Then left with ridiculous medical bill, I rather drive to the nearest ascensions

How long does it take to get a CT scan done at SRHC? Do they have to warm it up or do they not have someone on site? Oh....they're just behind on the CT's. Can't they just do an assembly line like they do when you have… a colonoscopy? In and out real fast with a rotating door.

Called with a question, they were unable to answer which is fine. But they literally hung up on me as I was thinking for another question or possible solution for my problem. There wasn’t even a goodbye. That was… incredibly rude.

First, I am surprised at the ratings here. I have lived in Salina for 20 years. My family never had a problem with Salina Regional Healthcare, hospital. We had lots of surgeries and care here. Recently, we had a… relative in the hospital for almost 2 months. Each shift, each medical staff was great. Our relative was well care for and never had a complaint. And neither did the family. We worked with one of the best case managers and supervisor ever. Every hospital was hit hard during covid and many medical staff that cared for others lost their life as well. Salina Regional Healthcare Center has recovered well to provide the care we need. I see many patients complain about their wait in the ER. We have had waits as well but we have never been ignored or rushed when the ER doctor explains what has happened and the best way of care, plus they listen to our questions and explained fully what was happening and what was needed. SRHC in our family book, deserves more than a 5 star. Thank you SRHC, we appreciate you! M.Rich

Go to Wichita or Mowery! Save yourself the hassle! These people only care about their egos and what they look life!!! The lives of sick patients, they care nothing for. WHY GET INTO HEALTHCARE IF YOU ONLY TREAT CERTAIN… PEOPLE WITH RESPECT?!? Disgusting!!! Maybe higher ups need to add “how to treat people who are sick” classes! You don’t get to choose who to help!
