SalusCare – Fort Myers (3763 Evans Avenue) Detox and Rehab Services
SalusCare – Fort Myers (3763 Evans Avenue) is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Both conditions are treated in parallel, which is what the research supports. Ask what a typical week involves before committing, since the schedule determines whether the program is workable alongside work or family.

SalusCare – Fort Myers (3763 Evans Avenue) Address, Location and Contact Information
You will find this provider at 3763 Evans Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida, 33901. This address falls in Lee County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Journey time and parking are not trivial details when treatment runs several times a week over months.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Worst communication ever !!! Will never suggest this place for help with a child!
Mixed up records ended up having someone else’s medical info on my charts… terrible staff they refused to give me a copy of records when I asked then manager lied and said she would submit my complaint and I actually… caught a couple months later she had not forwarded the complaint. They are in no way concerned about the wellbeing of one’s mental health they in fact gaslight you and try and upset you intentionally! And now u say I have never been seen to social security when u forcibly held me…..🤯 Contacted Morgan and Morgan ur gonna have to give up ur copy with another patients info on it Then I send it to u and again mind you three years later and u respond with a generic response like you are gonna take care of it today. The audacity no wonder people have lost our sanity you people are the problem… U cosplay as if ur going to address concerns and u have proven u do not address them even three years later
Great services lots of help
Find me on fb and see my pinned post. Alexandria Lucille Bryant I am thriving the best i can but I am and have now found the best for me providers. BTW, this place was NOT IT for me either. I know what my needs are and… I am very much able to articulate what those needs are. Tysvm
I would give it zero if I could. No communication, lied about the communication and transportation process, and released someone with no real follow-up plan or information on required medication. Leaves the family in… the dark and never returns calls. Worst policies and procedures for people who really need help!
Awesome staff very friendly
Every Dr i see is aware of my insurance. My insurance company called billing with me on 3 way. My insurance was sent through a text message I received. It asked for a picture of the front of the card as well the back.… After I sent it I was told if they had questions they would call me. Carmen from billing was ignorant. The insurance company asked for a supervisor and she hung up on us. My insurance company called again and she did not get her supervisor. She emailed me a form and told the insurance company it was for my insurance. Well she lied again and sent me a low income thing to fill out. I was on the phone for over 1 hour. She then canceled my appointments and in fact called me a liar. I will pursue this with a lawyer and I have screenshots of her email too.
Where to begin? I switched to this provider and before I could make an appointment they made me have an INTERVIEW visit first. I should have opted out because of this alone but I continued to the first appointment. I… was seen by a someone that wasn’t a doctor who ran through some questions off a list and proceeded to say I was bipolar. Lol!! I have been previously diagnosed with PTSD and depression, I have no bipolar symptoms at all. This non-doctor prescribed refills for my medications and I still had some left from my previous provider. After a few weeks I was running low on some meds so I made an appointment, first available. I was going to run out of one medication before the visit so I called in to get some more pills before actually running out. The nurse called me back and absolutely refused to call in anything and agreed that suddenly stopping a medication can be dangerous. She said that since I hadn’t been “seen” she couldn’t even ask for any pills to tide me over until the visit which was a week later. Mind you this was not a controlled substance of any kind, it is an antihistamine that also helps with anxiety. This company does not care about patients, not one bit. Before you go to this horrible place please make sure you research other providers, this company should be an absolute last resort.
Very rude and disrespectful, the ladies working at the front desk are out of this world disgusting. I would.. never recommend coming here.
I have been making appointments for months, just for them to be canceled with no notification. So I'd be at my computer, ready for a zoom call, but then the link wouldn't work? And it'd take ME CALLING THE OFFICE to… learn that my visit had been cancelled and I needed to reschedule, so I would... To do the same thing the next month... And the next month... Its been almost a year... Finally, TODAY, they call me to let me know that I need to reschedule because the physician wouldn't see me because I haven't seen her in over 6 months? When THEY'VE been the ones cancelling my appointments and not telling me? How does that make sense? I talked to a receptionist who told me she would call me back after figuring it out... She did not. I call the office back to find out that the appointment had been rescheduled without my permission or knowledge. Nice. Very kind. So basically, if you want to waste your time and get the run around for MONTHS, this is the right place! 👍
Can't thank Dr. Joe and the nice ladies in the front enough for your assistance today. I had a bad inpatient experience but im sure everyone does, thats why theyre inpatient lol. But Salus Care was able to provide some… great crisis and medication management today in a short notice and I appreciate that.
Congratulations to the doctor Jean Bataliem and the interpreter Juan because they been taking care with an outstanding professionalism and with a good attention with all my medical problems, they were certain with the… treament they give me, they were so professional with all my needs , thanks so much for everything so grateful Raul Ernesto Taura Suarez
Dr.Flask is the best doctor that I have ever seen in my life...He helps me with everything that I need and listens to me and understands me...I highly recommend Dr.Flask hands down
My therapist is Dawn Beck and I would have to say she's the best therapist I have ever had very knowledgeable and very helpful with my mental health.
My wife went in there for her appointment and apparently there was some miscommunication with the coordinaror in the coordinator of thought my wife canceled her appointment and she definitely did not the older heavy set… black lady in the front was extremely rude to my wife even rubbing it in her face when someone else came in for a 3:20 appointment with the same psychiatrist as my wife's mind you my wife was asking and pleading to be put as a walk in because she doesn't have medicine and this is the MAT program AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CARE ABOUT RELAPSE AND HELPING OTHERS IN RECOVERY THAT LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS EXTREMELY RUDE!!! MY WIFE CAME OUT CRYING IN TEARS. If you need help do not ask that lady! (Even show proof that she did not cancel the appointment)
For people looking for Sober Living options in the Southwest Florida area, I highly recommend SalusCare. They came through in a pinch for me when I stepped down from residential treatment at the Hazelden/Betty Ford… Clinic in Naples. I had made arrangements to step down into sober living in Naples as my next step on the path to recovery. As you may or may not be aware, there is a huge recovery community in Naples, and the sober living options are often full with waitlists. I was originally scheduled to step down at the end of my stay to a recovery house system in Naples, but they gave my slot away on my day of discharge. I was forced to scramble to find a place, and looked a little further up the state on Ft. Myers. That is how I learned about SalusCare. The staff is fantastic, holding weekly community meetings for residents to check in and let people know what kind of help or support they might need. They can also connect clients with medical providers and help develop a plan to lead to lasting sobriety. The units in the SoberLiving portion of the facility are modern, clean and neat. At first I was a little hesitant, but the staff’s attention to detail and eagerness to help saw me take my next step towards sobriety and into sober living within 24 hours of contacting them. I have been matched with a great set of roommates, and it is a nice step to kind of retrain as far as job assistance, cooking and cleaning — all the necessary life skills needed to ensure continued sobriety. They are also conveniently located near a number of 12-step meetings and Grace Church is a short walk away with plenty of opportunities to volunteer and give back to the community. I gave SalusCare 5 stars — the only reason being was that I couldn’t give 6. If you are looking for a sober living environment, I highly recommend SalusCare.
Salus care has definitely changed my life and I am very grateful for their services. karri is my provider and she has been great. She is so easy to talk to and non judgemental. I recommend anyone who needs this service… recommended her. The nurses, office staff, and everyone I have come in contact with has been very professional and helpful in changing my life. I can not express enough how greatful I am for salus care.
I like Salus care as my new Mental Health Place I wanted to update my review and give a few peices of helpful advice: I nicknamed My Psychitrist DR Joseph Flask Dwarf in the Flask from Fullmetal Alchemist Manga and… Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood Anime. I finally got the help I needed from my Psychitrist, I highly recommend Dr Joseph if you live in Cape Coral Florida or Fort Myers Florida as I feel like I can trust people again in my life. I'm a very complex case mentally and Physically being a Mentally and Physically Disabled person isn't easy by the way and i wanted to mention that I'm a healthcare Advocate for an end of life Paitent and I've been going through alot emotionally and sometimes i have to come here to get my meds adjustmeted or refilled because I work long hours and being without my lifesaving maitence meds is a nightmare, Joseph Flask is a very nice doctor and he actually takes the time to listen this alone shows that he cares, and he understands that i run out of my meds sometimes, he looks and me and gets to work on fixing any issue that I have with my meds or treatment plan, he's the only the second Psychitrist I've ever trusted in my entire life of 25 years, Although in Fort Myers Saluscare Psych hospital have really really stiff and uncomfortable beds that need to be updated so they don't destroy your back everytime you sleep on them. If you sleep on those beds no kidding that'll put your back out of place for a month and you'll need to go see a chiropractor for a while, I also saw Guy there named Paul at the Salus care Psych hospital he's pretty nice I also recommend having a chat with him while your in the Psych hospital because he actually takes the time to listen to you because while your in there you might as well make the best of the situation your in whatever that might be even if your homelessness and out on the streets, I know because I originally came from Michigan before coming to Florida was homeless for about a week moving up and down state lines, when I came here they gave me what I needed which was medication and a place to get the horrible feelings mentally I had out of my mind because if I didn't have I would have been homeless again due to unfortunate circumstances within less then a year of moving to Florida for nesscisary relocation. If anyone here ever treats you like dirt talk to the people here that you have the most faith and trust in and if you don't trust them consider switching providers to someone like Joseph Flask who is a Decent Psychitrist especially if your mentally hurt and are a homeless person who needs a little help. These are Words from a Truth Traveler.
Dr. Jean B. Is an excellent Dr. He took the time to explain the medications and diet to me. It was my first visit at Salus Care. Thank you.
This place has kept me sober... I appreciate all the staff for everything & happy new year another year. Sober, thanks to you guys ! 😀
If I had aids and they had the cure I still wouldn't go back.
This was my experience with them in 2023: DO NOT let them pair you with Stephanie Drafts Pellegrino. She literally spoke to me for 40 minutes (our first meeting) and immediately said i was full blown manic because I was… talking a lot (I’m sorry i thought that’s the whole point of meeting with you??). She prescribes me the highest dose of Risperidone to treat my so called bipolar but almost exactly 4 weeks after i began taking it, I experienced full body spasms and had to immediately go to the ER because i thought i was or was about to have a seizure. Jump to the present day, multiple medical professionals agreed and i had a full psychological test done that turns out i don’t have bipolar but ADHD coupled with Anxiety and depression. In their mission to not over diagnose ADHD (in reality they don’t want to prescribe the medication to treat it) they misdiagnosed people and pump them full of antidepressants and antipsychotics like Risperidone. Stephanie nearly killed me due to her incompetence by diagnosing WAY too quickly and prescribing the wrong medication at WAY too high a dose. I don’t even fully blame her as I’m sure this is how Saluscare as a whole is run and for that Dr. Aslam, the CMO in charge of overseeing everything related to treatment, is responsible.
I met with Dr. Aho for six months to one year during a transitional period in my life. She kept me "homeostasis" on my previous regimen of meds, which I appreciated because I felt that the meds were working for me. She… does not seem to promote radical changes, and takes a "let's see how this works or goes" approach. Diagnoses could have been more accurate.
It was absolutely terrible I had to wait almost 5 hours in the waiting room while the nurses were gossiping and laughing during it all,and the beds were as hard as stale bread.the beds in the waiting room we're way… better and when I had actually been checked in the staff were already yelling at me and I was provided no pillow.the staff didn't care at all as we had no group and were just forced outside,we did no therapy at all and the staff just put on tv.the other kids helped me better than the staff.and when a kid was having a panic attack all they did was booty juice them, but Samantha I believe her name was,was the only one who cared as she came up to me personally to check on me,but for the rest of the staff especially the old one with red hair they should be ashamed of themselves as this was supposed to "help" it only made things worse and gave me more trauma you guys should shut down honestly you don't deserve to be open,There were so much more like when I first got there all the staff were rude and gave everyone attitude, like when I asked when phone calls were she said well calll you whem its time and to stop asking questions.and they created a very uncomfortable envierment.i wasnt even giben my clothes that my mom dropped off for me and then they got mad that i disnt have cloths it was only until vusitiing when my mom confronted the nurse that they gave me my cloths and there excuse was that it wasnt labled even after my mom repeadely told them who it was for, overall please dobt sebf snyone here because how did the officer do a better job then you its absolutely shamefull and i hope you guys close down
Extremely frustrated with this office. I arrived before my appointment and noticed the front desk was engaging with another patient, so I quickly used the restroom, and that same patient was finishing up when I walked… up to the counter. It was still before my scheduled appointment time by about 5 minutes, but check-in failed because they marked me as a no-show.. what? Was I supposed to push the other patient out of the way? I was still there before my scheduled time so there’s no valid reason to be told to have a seat as a walk-in when I waited 2 months+ for this appointment. Completely ridiculous.
