These places are ridiculous. There is not a soul that I know that comes from prison, detox , or the streets of Arizona are ready to give someone $250 and to continue to pay that on a regular basis. Impossible for the… individuals to maintain that level of payment week in and out. I keeps the doors open with fresh faces and medicaid.

Sanctuary has a solid program. I highly recommend their Sober Living option. They give you 30 days to find a job which is more time than most sober living houses. The staff at the IOP clinic really care and are… supportive of clients needs. Case managers and BHT's help you find a job and take you to meetings. Anna the clinical Director has an open door policy and will listen to your concerns. She is always willing to help if she can. This place has helped me a lot. It's a lot of work but it is work worth doing. I'm grateful there is a place like Sanctuary.

This program has really upset me. When I first got here, I didn't know what to expect. The first month went by easy. I was in the IOP house and the house manager there was amazing. I'm at the point now to where they… gave me a 7 day notice to move out. I haven't graduated yet because they pushed it back two weeks. I'm still doing my IOP program but I have to move out. They require us to have a full time job before they move us to a traditional Sober Living home. Well I got moved out before I had the chance to complete the IOP program. You really don't have that much time to look for a job because we're always "Programming". I've been working an honest program but it seems like they set you up to fail. The house manager here is the best. She does take what we feel and say into consideration and gives us great advice. The director of the clinic Anna seems to not really care about us because if she did she would do more to help us.

This business is false as far as helping people with their trauma. They hold it against you and throw it back at you. I was not mandated by anyone to go to their IOP and was discharged due to them wanting me to go into… a mental institution which would not accept me due to the fact that I was not homicidal or suicidal. They therefore discharged me from IOP services and tried to put me out on the street which is not good because I am on parole and paroled to their sober living. Now, due to a loose Cannon roommate that isn't actually sober in the sober living as she is on certain medications that are being overlooked has been starting drama in the house, I whom have 1month shy of 2 years of sobriety pay my $200 weekly rent and am on parole have been discharged and putting me in a situation where I will now violate and go back to prison because they are breaking rules for a minimum of 4 people that are on medications not allowed by any sober living. To hold someone's trauma against them and gang up on a person that was asking for help due to their trauma in a room by staff in one of their conference rooms at the clinic is more than unprofessional it is unethical. The counselor broke hippa, well it would be hippa if she wasn't just an apprentice and she actually had a license and that's who is there at sanctuary to help you with your trauma. Yet they advertise that they help with these things. One time, they took me to another programs meeting that addresses sex trafficking trauma. The meeting did not at all address anything like that. Yet sanctuary advertising states they help with this trauma. But they don't and then they tell you that they don't believe the things you are saying and then they make you go to a mental institution because your as they say unstable because your trauma couldn't be true. I would no longer ever recommend this abusive, false, business that breaks the rules of not only as an IOP clinic but especially as a sober living because I know that a minimum of 4 people for a fact are on medication that is prohibited by sober living standards and rules.

This is the best sober living! Holding residents accountable and providing a stable, clean, and comfortable environment. Teaching residents how to reintegrate back into society. My husband was once homeless and in… prison but thanks to sanctuary sober living he is now a successful dad and husband with 14 years of sobriety! Thank god for this sober living!

I can’t speak for all of the houses but my loved one arrived here sober from another state. They were very much looking forward to their sobriety. Instead, the house they arrived at caused them to relapse as everyone… there was using and the house manager didn’t seem to care and would often take off on weekends. No structure, accountability, no house meetings, no testing, no making sure they were going to meetings. Do not send your loved ones here if you want them to stay sober. This place is a joke and they don’t care about people other than their weekly fee.

I went here for after care after living at Phoenix Rescue mission. This place was amazing. The owner comes to the house and actually takes the time to meet all the residents. I now have 4 years sober and live a great… life today, partly because of living at Sanctuary sober living.
