About Santa Monica Inc – Omaha (401 South 39th Street)

Santa Monica Inc operates from 401 South 39th Street in Omaha. The site sits in Douglas County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include La Vista and Ralston. Nebraska draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Residential treatment is delivered here, alongside care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Santa Monica Inc

Residential treatment runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Residential runs long-term, which suits people who have tried shorter stays without them holding. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Santa Monica Inc Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 401 South 39th Street, Omaha, NE 68131, in Douglas County. The catchment reaches La Vista and Ralston. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Opening hours shift with staffing, and an evening slot one month may not exist the next. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

That is the worst place ever!! Everyone is truly awful. All they care about is money. Don't support this awful place. Didn't help me one bit.

I got sober and clean in the Santa Monica in 1990s and have stayed clean. I had tried doing it on my own and could never stick to it. It's been 20+ years and I'm a happy healthy wife, mother, and grandmother and still… living one day at a time and loving it. ❤️

I wish I had a better experience! I really really loved the staff such as the techs. They and my peers changed my life. I have been sober since I graduated intermediate residential, I just hit 5 months! moved to the… half way house and chose to leave because it was causing me more stress than anything. I’m back home with my children. And still active in the AA community. It’s really a disheartening situation because even though I GRADUATED from the 90 day program since I chose to try to half way house. I am labeled as unsuccessfully discharged and can not talk to any staff or clients at all. But if I had chose to go home after the 90 day program I’d have been able to talk to them… my needs to go home outweighed me staying. When I was in the 90 day program I was supposed to have a one on one with my counselor each week. I only had a total of about 5-6 and when mentioned to the director I was basically called a liar. The counselor documented that I was seen each week, but it was NOT true. So my insurance was basically paying for my peer support and the amazing techs they hire. I miss my peers and the techs so much. It’s unfortunate I cannot interact with my biggest support system simply because the half way house didn’t work for me. I feel really let down by this program, there’s a reason so many people are unsuccessful. I came based on my own will with no court order, unless you are there for court, I wouldn’t recommend this program.

Awful place. Not conducive to a recovery environment whatsoever. Very strict, hardly get to talk to your loved ones. Overly invasive and no compassion for the wants and needs of pregnant women. Will not advocate for… your needs in court. They only care about keeping you there so they can keep their funding from the state. Would not recommend if you want to be happy and comfortable in your journey to sobriety.
