Todd Miller is a great therapist and this is not a reflection on him i need 24 hour notice incase of any cancelation before my session ive called a couple of times today no answer and my therapist todd Miller claimed… that serenity is closing i still see on there Google there website claimed that they are open i called no answer further more no im stuck without a therapist for two weeks when therapy was working thanks alot serenity for no care or no helping extremely unprofessional 😒
MA Alex and Dr. Rivers are amazing! They are both incredibly kind, professional, and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. They truly listen, take their time with you, and create a safe, judgment free… environment. I’m so grateful for the care I’ve received and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a psychiatric provider!!!!
My experience with the front desk at Serenity Mental Health was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. When I called to schedule an appointment, the staff member immediately told me they do not accept Tricare. She… did this without asking for my name, date of birth, referral information, or making any attempt whatsoever to verify whether my referral had already been submitted or approved. There was no effort to check their system, no clarification questions, and no willingness to assist. I was essentially dismissed within seconds. For a mental health provider—where patients may already feel vulnerable—this kind of careless and dismissive interaction is especially concerning. The front desk is the first point of contact and sets the tone for the entire practice. Based on this experience, the lack of professionalism and basic customer service is deeply disappointing. I would expect far more diligence and courtesy from a healthcare office. And due to this experience I will be taking my care elsewhere.
I remember Frank from 2015 when I first started going to the serenity office . He was always so nice, caring and very professional. I recommend this office to anyone looking for good patient care especially for primary… care services. I love that serenity health has started offering primary care services and is a one stop shop for primary care . I really appreciate how caring Dr Morales is as well .
Frank P was amazing he really takes the the time to make sure he he goes out the way to go the extra mile to meet the patient needs and make me feel care for I appreciate all he did for me thank you again
JENNIFER at the front desk was incredibly hepful and nice. Rob one of the therapist is top notch hes helped me and my family like no other. Theyve been a true blessing
Wouldn’t recommend at all. David Gibson is a horrible provider. My last appointment he said he couldn’t do anything more for me, yet scheduled my next appointment so he can get his money. I’ve tried many many many… therapists, I haven’t found one I feel safe with, I’ve been struggling on focusing, concentrating, many stimming activities, I also have severe anxiety. I requested to try an adhd medication as a trial, so I can try and focus, and work, and hopefully function as a normal human being. However, David Gibson said my lack of focus comes from my anxiety and depression. He thinks he knows it all, makes you feel small at every appointment, and is quite literally willing to give up on you. If you want quality mental health care, from a provider who listens, discusses, treats you like a human, do not go here. Please do not go here.
Horrible service. I do not recommend these people to anyone dealing with real mental issues. They forget about you literally every chance they get. They will leave you waiting for hours, they will give your appointment… to others, they will leave you waiting for a Lyft ride that never comes, they put others needs in front of yours, no matter how far ahead you made your appointment as if your time means nothing. They treat you like a number and not a patient
I've been going here since 2018. I honestly love the front desk!! They are always so nice kind, efficient, and understanding. I love my doctor here, and my therapy services. I'll probably stay with them until I'm cured… of all sadness lol no really, my life is so much more manageable because of this place. Less Chaotic than any clinic I've ever worked with. Thank you serenity
Place can't keep therapists employed. I've gone through 6 because they quit abruptly or without notice leaving the patients high and dry. Medication management is a nightmare as the staff has insane levels of… bureaucracy before you can ever speak to your doctor. I've gone here for years but any tiny adjustment in medication means weeks without said medication because the staff refuses to communicate with your pharmacy. I've spoken to every medical assistant here and they hit you with a canned response of "let me contact the pharmacy and I'll give you a call back." Yet here we are... again, a week later with no sign of that call back ever happening. Save yourself time and sanity, just go somewhere that actually takes mental health seriously. This place has been closed by the FDA previously and it's becoming apparent why. Also some of the 5 star reviews on here are actually employees at the center. I know because I've met them and can tell by their picture/name who they are. I've been going here since 2016.
Friendly team from start to finish. I like being treated like a patient and not a number. Great personalized service.
They will bill you for no call no show even if you showed up or rescheduled!!!
I would not know what rate to give the providers. To me was impossible to get an appointment as a new patient at this facility. It is very disappointing since for many people the first step is the more difficult… (recognizing that mental help is needed).
I have to agree with John when he said Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
I was discharged without any knowledge . I texted my therapist to let her know I was going through something as hadn’t been completely honest about it . Instead of texting me back she discharges me ... smh .
Dr. Withrow is awesome! Also Courtney Jordan is a wonderful therapist 👏👏👏
A close family member had difficulty with past trauma and marital issues, I have seen her improve her mental health since she started attending therapy sessions at Serenity. She is more upbeat and seems more willing to… enjoy her life. The front staff was helpful in getting her the right therapist and setting her up with the Dr. I have been taking her here and she has indicated she felt like someone finally listens and understands what she is going through.
I have been going to this clinic for over four years now. I pay out of pocket because they don't take my insurance. When I first started going, I only had to pay $40.00. The last two years it jumped to $60.00, now I pay… $80.00. I initially started seeing Dr. Mall who is an amazing doctor, compassionate, caring, and really listens. He would prescribe my medication, including xanax. When I went to the pharmacy last year to renew my xanax prescription, I was told that he was unable to prescribe any controlled medications, so I had to make an appointment with a new doctor. At first it was telemeds, which was annoying because the feed kept freezing up. Then I started seeing a psychiatric nurse, and then a different doctor. The front desk staff used to kind and compassionate. I noticed every time I went in, there were new people at the front desk. The only person who has been there the longest is Frank. Lately he's turned into a real unpleasant person, rude and condescending. When I needed FMLA paperwork filled out, I saw Dr. Mall and all was handled accordingly. When I needed the paperwork faxed to my employer, there was no charge. I've had to recently reapply for FMLA and now, even just to fax the paperwork, shoot, even just to have them FILL out the paperwork, I had to make an appointment, pay another $80.00 just to get it faxed. When my employer needed clarification, I had to make ANOTHER appointment, pay my $80.00, just to have them revise it. I'm not going to be specific in the latest incident regarding the visits because I don't want to identify myself and suffer backlash. As I stated earlier, my employer needed clarification regarding my FMLA, so when I went in to my regularly scheduled appointment, I was told that I didn't mention anything about paperwork and I needed to make another appointment the following week. When I explained that I could not afford another 80.00, I was told that it would be free. I went in with my paperwork and was told that it wasn't an appointment for paperwork, even though it was mentioned clearly. They told me that I was going to have to pay ANOTHER 80.00! Just to get my paperwork revised! I reminded them what they said but all l got was an argument. One thing I forgot to mention; the first time I applied for FMLA, Frank immediately faxed the paperwork to my employer. The second time, he never faxed it in. I called to find out what happened and he told me "You never said that we had to fax it." I was stupefied. This man is supposed to be the front desk employee and yet he can't even be consistent anymore. I apologize for the long review, but I feel that the customer service in this clinic has gone down the toilet. Another thing I don't understand is Dr. Mall is the director of the clinic, and yet he can no longer prescribe controlled medications. As stated earlier, I only found out when I went to the pharmacy. I went through a period without one of my prescribed medications due to their recent incompetence. As anyone knows, one cannot just stop taking pysch meds because of severe, and possible deadly, side effects. I need to find another clinic, that doesn't cost me almost $100.00 per visit, that treats me, and other patients, with dignity and respect. Those of us who suffer from mental illness already have a ton of hurdles to overcome, especially the stigma surrounding mental health. We should at least be treated with dignity, kindness, and compassion. I am open for any recommendations regarding a better, low cost, clinic.
Literally the worst service ever. Have had 4 different therapists and I only ever get to meet them once then they leave, or they are sick and miss the next appointment. Just called up today and found out that even… though my therapist called out on me, they went ahead and cancelled all of our future appointments because we didn’t meet at our “assigned time.” This clinic is known for flaky therapists and if you can’t see a therapist in time they won’t fill the meds you’re supposed to take daily, so it’s a never ending cycle of getting used to a certain SSRI and then going cold turkey off of it. Seriously I feel mentally worse after dealing with this place. Do not go here, trust me- go somewhere else.
Absolutely love this place. I suffer with a bunch of mental health problems and Donna never makes me feel crazy or ashamed. The staff is always nice and welcoming, I've never had a long wait time maybe 5 minutes at the… most.
I will not post my real name because I am a patient here and I don’t want people to know that. I’m a shy guy I’d rather keep private. I feel like this place is good and yeah the wait time is bad but last time I went it… was better and the staff are very over worked I’m surprised they can still smile and I appreciate all the support and hope they give me. This place needs more positive reviews
This is not a place that really understands your mental health. I had been taking my partner here for several months and they have been a pain to deal with almost every time. Especially the people at the front desk.… There was not one time that we went in there when they were kind to us. We had an appointment for her to receive her medication evaluation because her refills were up. We showed up for the appointment and we were told that they cancelled it because she had not answered the phone call the day before to confirm the appointment. Well.. It turns out that was not true. Even then, we sat in the waiting room for an hour while they were supposed to be faxing over authorization for a medication. Which they couldn't have done anyways because they no longer had a doctor and knew that. But refused to tell us even though we waiting in there for over an hour. When we came in for her therapy appointment the next week we checked in like normal. We then sat in the waiting room for the majority of her appointment because the front desk did not tell the therapist that we were there so she missed her entire appointment. The only thing her and her therapist had time to talk about was the fact that their doctor had quit and the facility and they could no longer prescribe medications and she had to find another doctor. They then told us to go to a urgent care to get her prescriptions. It is pretty common knowledge that a urgent care can not prescribe controlled substances which they told us they would. Even trying to get the medications that we could get from the urgent was made more difficult dealing with the staff at the front desk trying to get them to send over the medication. She went days without her medication. Which if anyone knows anything about mental health (there employees do not) if you start handling serious mental health issues with medication and then suddenly stop people often will harm themselves. Luckily she had me and I work from home where I could be with her for several days until getting into her primary care doctor to get the situation figured out. This all happened because they lied to us a week earlier instead of being honest that there doctor had quit and we could have gotten that taken care of where she did not have to go days without her medication. I would never recommend anyone ever go here. This place is a grade a example of a somewhere that feeds on the less fortunate for profit.
My appointment for my daughter was at 6 pm now it’s 8 what is wrong with this place!!!
The staff here is so friendly and helpful and the place is clean and well kept
