About ShareHouse Inc – Fargo (4227 9th Avenue South)
ShareHouse Inc operates from 4227 9th Avenue South in Fargo. The site sits in Cass County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Briarwood, Frontier and Prairie Rose. North Dakota draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Residential treatment and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at ShareHouse Inc
Residential treatment and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Residential runs both short and long term, so the question at intake is which length the assessment points toward. Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together.

ShareHouse Inc Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 4227 9th Avenue South, Fargo, ND 58103, in Cass County. The catchment reaches Briarwood, Frontier and Prairie Rose. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

ShareHouse Inc Reviews and Ratings
Personal accounts of ShareHouse Inc sit in this section. Patterns across several reviews, such as repeated comments about communication or waiting times, are a better guide than any single account.
Dear Sharehouse Recovery Team, I am writing regarding a phone call I received from a staff member, Alana, concerning my brother and his absence past curfew. During the call, I identified myself as his sister and… inquired whether staff were aware that he has been working night shifts. I asked what the curfew cutoff time was and whether any accommodations could be made given that he was at work and had already notified staff of his schedule. I was informed that he would need to take time away from work in order to check in. However, the tone of the conversation was concerning. Alana was rude and repeatedly questioned his whereabouts in a manner that felt unprofessional. Additionally, when I asked for clarification on the curfew time, I was told that this information could not be released. I would like to note that I have a signed Release of Information (ROI) on file, which should allow for appropriate communication. I was also placed on hold for over 20 minutes while Alana attempted to locate the ROI. Alana never returned to the phone. Instead, another staff member, Heath, came on the line and informed me that they still had not located the ROI. During that conversation, I was told, “it takes as long as it takes to locate an ROI,” which I found to be dismissive and unprofessional. Heath’s tone was also rude, if not more so than the initial interaction with Alana. Furthermore, I was informed that when my brother returned, Alana displayed an attitude toward him that appeared to be in response to my request regarding the ROI information. This is also concerning, as it suggests that my inquiry may have impacted how he was treated. I understand that this is a recovery home; however, everyone deserves to be treated with respect, including those in recovery and their family members. I am requesting: Clarification on curfew policies, especially for residents who are employed on night shifts Information on whether exceptions or accommodations can be made for work-related conflicts Confirmation that my ROI is on file and being honored A review of communication practices to ensure respectful and professional interactions with both residents and their approved family contacts. I would also like to raise a concern regarding the balance between recovery expectations and employment. The goal of recovery housing is to support individuals in becoming stable and self-sufficient, which often includes maintaining employment. However, if residents are not permitted to work past 9:00 PM, it can create a conflict for those scheduled for evening or overnight shifts. In this situation, it becomes difficult to understand how residents are expected to both comply with curfew requirements and maintain employment that may extend beyond those hours. I am requesting clarification on how this policy is intended to work in practice and whether accommodations exist for individuals who work evening or overnight shifts. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your response.
I’m a mother of someone who went to Sharehouse I actually referred my son to go to Sharehouse because 6 years ago Sharehouse changed my life, but the overnight staff member named HEATH is disrespectful and rude, we… wanted to pick up my sons clothes and property and he told us “LEAVE! Don’t come back until after 8am” I drove 2.5 hrs to Fargo, I can’t just come back after 8am I’m from out of town. Then he proceeded to tell us as we were walking away “and if you come back before 8am I’m calling the police for trespassing!“ I never thought a staff member would treat anyone this way. I wasn’t being mean or rude so I’m not sure why we got treated so badly. From here on out I have changed my opinion on them I don’t look at them the same as I used to.
Should give address to Walk-in Assessment. People looking for help go to 9th Ave location then get turned away as the walk in is not there. Not even close to that location. Another hoop to jump through when you are… struggling doesn’t go well
ShareHouse was the very first treatment I attend over eight years ago. I felt safe, accepted, and felt no judgment from anyone there. It has been a lasting positive experience for me. I was pregnant at the time, my six… year old daughter that I had when I was 15, at the time was going through chemo treatment foe ALL Leukemia, and so ready for change. I felt like there was no better time to get help for myself in treatment while my daughter was going through her treatment for cancer. I completed thirty days at Sharehouse, graduated, and asked to be transferred to a Wayside Family Treatment in Minneapolis where I could have my baby and reunite with my two other children. I extended my stay there four times until I fully believed I was ready to continue my recovery journey. That was the best self advocacy i've ever done in my life. I graduated that program and then went to White Earth Substance Abuse for IOP and OP. Here I am, with over eight years of sobriety, a BA in psychology, and currently in my final internship to become a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. My daughter is over six years in remission, and I have all of my children. I am a mother of 10 with an amazing husband. We have both been through so much and I am so proud of the empire we have built. I am so thankful for each facility and the guidance they provided me with during my time in need. Helping others is a passion I hold dearly. Again, thank you ShareHouse for the vital role you had on this beautiful journey of sobriety and healing. 💜
Can tell and feel that the staff very much care for the residents. They're busy all the time but it sounds like the place to go IF you really want to get help and can put up with some strict but CARING people and be… patient
Very helpful and caring
The best there is.
I couldn't recommend Sharehouse more if you're serious about getting sober/clean. As someone who's been through the program(290 days sober as of this review) it was by far the biggest tool to help me with my recovery.… Please do yourself a favor and get the help you need that Sharehouse can provide.
The advertisement says that they accept Medicare and Medicaid. I have that insurance and I could not get accepted that share house because of my insurance with Medicare and Medicaid or both
