SMA Healthcare – Daytona Beach Detox and Rehab Services

SMA Healthcare – Daytona Beach appears on the register for intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

SMA Healthcare – Daytona Beach Address, Location and Contact Information

Records give the address as 1220 Willis Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida, 32114. Volusia County covers this area. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

I was a previous patient here and tried scheduling a new patient appointment today since my last one was a year ago. I was told they can no longer treat me because I am autistic, and they apparently cannot treat… patients with autism due to updated policy changes. I am infuriated. They had no issues treating me before and now all of a sudden it’s an issue? How am I supposed to get my medications now? This was the most affordable option for me and now I no longer have access due to blatant discrimination.

This place is awful they never listen to you because they think they know everything. Be careful because they overdosed me on my medication and I almost died. They say they want to help but they completely ignore… anything you say about your symptoms. They also charge you money to be seen even if you are homeless and have no income Terrible place

They have not sent over my prescriptions to my pharmacy in 11 days after contacting them many times. Ran out of emergency refills so I was left with nothing to help me. Have hurt myself badly already and am in horrible… distress waiting for help. My first psychiatrist here was good. I still am without medications. Even after multiple calls to and from wallgreens for a transfer. Nothing ever happened. After waiting for 3 months my psychiatrist was sick on my appointment day, so now I have to wait over another month and a half for an appointment.

My toe was broken my three techs there a month ago. I complained about techs being on their cell phones and not locking a bathroom door. I was grabbed and had my left foot stomped on. Then a nurse Megan told me when I… complained that I was in pain, that she ran marathons with a broken foot. I left I then went to a hospital where they exrayed my foot and told me my toe was broken There is no compassionate care there, because they don't care. The doctor didn't care. Meghan a nurse there did not care. Wayne, Andrea Jody three techs do not care They battered you there and release a woman with a TBI to the street.Thete is no compassionate or care Horrible and criminal

This place is awful. I’ve called 5 times and each time they hang up on me. I am disgusted with their behavior. I need help with my mental health and each time I’ve been hung up on or not called back this is ridiculous… and I’m not doing any work with them.

I am thankful for everyone's help here at SMA. The front desk woman was super sweet and kept me company after I told her I was nervous. After the wait, I was assisted by a fantastic doctor who answered my questions… patiently when I was confused. Thank you guys for making me feel like you wanted to actually assist me.

The drs here are great, however i sat and listened to the front desk girl for most of the time i was here. She was laughing and gossiping about a patient who was clearly in desperate need of help. If i knew her name id… put it out there. I now know his whole story because she wouldnt stop gossiping about it to everyone. He got out of jail that day and was in desperate need of someone to help, was clearly in a bad mental place. She thought it was hilarious and laughed about it multiple times. Clearly not meant for this line of work. She wouldnt stop talking im surprise shes even paid to be here. Although i dont mind cussing i think its very unprofessional in a workplace i manage a mechanic shop but u wouldnt hear me cuss at work. This girl clearly doesnt have the same belief as me. Genuinely lost brain cells listening to her yap and yap and yap. Im still sitting here and shes complaining about working 9-5 when all she does is sit and gossip all day and scroll on her phone. At least i have the knowledge of her whole personal life to take with me.
