Deborah was my counselor, and she was amazing! Ive been to these clinics in los angeles & san Diego County, by far this was the best facility.♡

This Place is for people who want their life back.. But don’t know how to Because they need opiate just a function before they can do anything. I arrived at MAT Treatment a shell of a man 6’2’.. 170 pounds injecting… Heroin several times a day and cross addicted I had always been told methadone was a drug and not real Recovery… but I was desperate.. Fentanyl had just begun to circulate and people were already dying, and I was scared. With some apprehension at first, I started on the program.. Within 2 Months, I stopped relapsing off of opiates altogether.. By one year, I was mostly sober 95% of the time with the occasional Xanax slip… By the end of two years, I was on a stable, methadone dose, working as a reliable employee that I am, Have a nice condo with a family that trusts me and daughters that respect me… In the end, if I could recommend something to people in my position… Who cares what people say about methadone?.. Go talk to doctor an addiction specialist, who know more about your addiction than you do.. Who test Blood plasma level levels to ensure you are not lying about how your dose is affecting you… It serves as a placeholder now. In the morning, I take one fourth of the amount of methadone I started off on and I get some sanity that day and my brain gets a break from dreaming about drugs.. I’ll take that trade 10 out of 10 days… And this place has the best kind of counselors with resources who care, who will talk to him for over an hour if you need it.. And then answer the phone to talk more Don’t have any preconceived notions on methadone treatment, come and take it one day at a time and if you don’t like it, just go back to doing drugs

Don’t bother with the other treatments. This place is indeed a little more expensive, but you have to realize that that comes with counselors who care. These people will move mountains to accommodate you if you are… someone who wants it bad enough. They will give you the counselor you want, the situation you want, the treatment you need. Throw your hat in, And give it a shot.. Opiates are not going anywhere.. You have every chance to go back out and use anytime you want, but you might only have one or two shots at real recovery. Methadone treatment is Meant for people who might not be ready to quit, but need to to save their lives. Five years in, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.

I have been to several different clinics all over the state and I can say personally that this clinic goes over and beyond has more to offer with gender phones insurance in guiding hands their case managers here are… wonderful if they have a day room for to watch TV warm up and have a sober healthy place to keep space in. Very knowledgeable about local resources. I enjoyed this place very much felt welcome and cared for. Other places I felt isolated individualized picked on bullied an experienced racism and everything is as it should be there is right there is wrong there is the law and sometimes there is what really happens there's not a lot of people who stick up for people no matter of their past as long as they are good people. And if you become a good person and do what you are asked of you will fly high in achievements 🤟🏽🙏🏿🙏🏾🙏🏽🙏🏼 also Como Espanol all staff ⚕️

Soap Matt has changed my life. I don't care about others' opinions, but if you use the program the way it is supposed to be, you can recover and live a normal, healthy life, normal , normal problems 😉

They NEVER make you feel like a junkie coming here,they realize most of us are here to change our lives and do better..Amber is my counselor that I… treasure and appreciate so much. I can tell her anything without judgement and get great advice and leadership...but everyone else I talk to also loves their counselors just as much!! Billy at the front desk is always SO helpful, welcoming, funny...I actually can't tell you any employee that isn't a treasure to this place...it's a positive and welcoming environment and although I will be proud to not need to come here anymore soon- I will always appreciate and recommend to anyone looking for help...I really can't say enough positive things, I wish everyone luck and new peacefulness in their lives when they embrace sobriety...SOAP MAT is here for you...

Good clinic if the workers did their job. Ivory is the worst counselor I’ve had in all my years of being on methadone. She claims she’s in recovery yet has zero empathy or remorse for any patient. And purposely will not… set up there doses at other clinics when proper paperwork has been given.

I’ve been going here for a little over three years. This place helped me through my first pregnancy — which was a scary and uncertain time just coming out of a long stretch of consistently using and abusing my body. I… am happy to say I am a little over three years clean! My daughter is a healthy happy two year old and I have a life that I never even imagined I could have. I am not struggling in active addiction- and I am able to function and complete goals and be a productive and positive member of my community. I owe it largely to this place— the staff and the doctors and nurses are very much a huge part of why this place works for so many people. If your ready to really get clean— this is it.

While I wasn’t personally successful at SOAP MAT, I would still recommend it. For mental health reasons, I had a difficult time getting to the clinic for the required daily dose, but that was on me. My counselor, Gari… (who is the absolute BEST), took the time to set up ride accommodations through my Medi-Cal coverage and would call when she hadn’t seen me in a few days. I appreciated that she was empathetic and non-judgmental. That was the impression I had about about, not all, but a majority of the staff. The major frustration I had was being “discharged” after not showing up for a consecutive 15 days. I completely understand that after being absent from the clinic for a determined amount of time could create a status change. What I don’t get was why I needed to complete the ENTIRE intake process over. I could understand needing to see the doctor again and needing to meet with the counselor, but filling out the 50+ pages of paperwork and meeting with the intake case manager felt so unnecessarily repetitive!

The place really has helped my friends get and stay clean I'm great full. 🙏

I have always been treated with care and compassion and respect from this clinic. I have gone to other clinics over the past years and I have never been treated as well as I have from this clinic, there is no comparison… actually! This clinic from the counselors to the nurses to the front desk staff they all treat the clients with respect and dignity something that no other clinic has ever done and I am truly grateful!! Thank you Soap Mat for helping me get my life back on track I am coming up on one year clean and sober and I could not have done it without Soap Mat!

Best clinic in San Diego County period! I drive 43 miles to visit this clinic. 4 different clinics I have attended and by far this one is the most efficient, friendliest (they actually care about you as a human and will… help you if needed instead of trying to shove you out and not caring) and well maintained. If you need help and are ready to get clean, go here, even if it's just a little out of the way as long as you can drive it will be worth it and with how friendly the staff and nurses are, it could save your life.

SOAP MAT is awesome - a non-corporate, locally held LLC; run by amazing, huge-hearted people who are at the top of their game and are the best in their field. Laura - the owner and a renowned psychologist (+ caring,… compassionate genius) - has been the target of abuse by the other doctors occupying this medical park; as well as others in the industry. Why? Because she isn't profit-driven; instead, she's motivated by the want, the need to help suffering people and better the world/community she lives in. From the security staff to the nurses, doctors and front-desk staff, she's hired THE BEST that the industry has to offer. Support this place - because otherwise, if you're ever misfortunate enough to need these services - you'll be treated like a child - or a number - or a prisoner - or livestock by the alternative, evil corporate-medical overlords that are in business in San Diego! 😉😘

To be honest I didn't expect much seeing only a handful of employees I recognized since the last time I was here. However, everyone from Billy to Mark and Kelly to the security detail Ron made my transition painless and… to put it in not so many words this, this place blew my mind. Thanks everyone.

While traveling with friend who's established patient at legit out-of-state clinic we experienced a hellish & very inhumane experience dealing with a MISSION TREATMENT clinic in area & who have several other sister… clinics. This SOAP MATT, LLC place went way beyond the call of duty to help my friend! They were so hands on proactive in helping my friend in a crisis that the MISSION TREATMENT caused us & our traveling schedule, very personable, caring & treated us (as total strangers) literary just like family! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL THE EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL STAFF HERE!!!!

I love how the staff here is absolutely non judgemental! Very welcoming, kind, and u could tell they really care about the patients and love what they do.
