I’ve been seeing Dr. Paul for 4 years this is the best clinic for MAT. They are so supportive and flexible with scheduling appointments. I highly recommend. SIH has been a huge part of My recovery and success!

The doctors are really good. The lady that runs the place got rid of the great staff that did run the front desk and replaced them with her daughter. Her and her daughter are more worried about themselves and the baby… they bring to work. The clients are now of little concern. The daughter has no idea how to do her job correctly. If you have a job I don't recommend this clinic.You will be low priority and possibly relapse therefore risking your life. Choose a different clinic for your love ones.

This place saved my life! I love this place and all the wonderful staff!

The first time me and my roommate went there we found out it’s all virtual. You sit in a room and look at a computer screen. I sat in there and there were fingernails and toenails everywhere. Plus the lady named… Florence was my person I saw and she was so rude and even was mad at my roommate to having an answer to a question she asked that I didn’t have the answer for. But I knew my friend did. This lady quit the practice then I got a new person who is also so rude. Saying he is open minded. He said that 10 times during our apt. I was asking for pills to stop cravings for substance use he said no I won’t give this. I also asked for antidepressants and which he denied also. The last thing I asked for was a form of non stimulant for of adderall for my adhd which he also denied. So I’m not seeing the point of going there. Me and my roommate both got in the car and before leaving we screamed at the top of our lungs. So frustrating. The guy even said if you were in my shoes what would you do. I replied if someone was in front of me asking for help and help for stop drugs who had previous suicide attempts then I would help them. He replied my opinion doesn’t matter because I have done drugs. But on top of all of this they were giving me an antipsychotic shot which I have discovered actually makes my symptoms worse and my drug of choice cancels the shot out. But still told me to go get it. So crazy this place!

Very poor experience. It’s filthy… no one seems to know what’s going on. No one told me my appointment would be virtual? The nurse had a terrible attitude. It was very very weird. Do not recommend

This is an updated review. I’ve been going to sound for several years now for MAT and early this year I relapsed and was super ashamed of myself and hard on myself about it but they were extremely supportive to me and… were completely understanding about it and have since helped me get back on track and I now see them for not just MAT but IOP, individual counseling, and mental health services even to. All services have been amazing. Paul, Ana, Michelle, Amy, Josh, and Heather and everyone else there are all wonderful people and will help you 100% judgement free.

Sound Integrated Health Saved my life 5 years ago. I was addicted heavily to whatever opiate I could find at the time. This office and their providers are so kind and understanding of our disease and offer the best dual… diagnoses treatment Medicaid can offer!

I would like to spotlight Florence Deuel for listening to my concerns about my patients. She really advocated for him and his mental health. She addressed all of his concerns and reassured him through his journey. I… HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!

I’ve been a patient for over 12 years at Sound Integrated Health in Tacoma. This medical clinic has the best providers on hand with the best knowledge on everything about sobriety and they show a lot of love to each… patient which is why i have been with them for so long. Addiction is a life long struggle and for that you need the best warriors at your side that will fight for you !

My Fiancé has struggled with addiction for 8 years and has been to many different places to help with MAT (medically assisted treatment) services. She has tried methadone at the health dept and they’re councilors we’re… not understanding about her situation, she tried NW integrated health and Dr.Kahn made her cry every time he said he had no faith she would ever get sober and would have to depend on her parents for the rest of her life. At NW integrated, she was also a victim of medical malpractice during her intake when they gave her 5x the amount she was supposed to have on the first day she had even tried suboxone which sent her to the hospital to be monitored because of overdose. She lost faith for so long until she met Safe and Sound Integrated Health where she literally felt safe and sound at last. With a whopping 4 years of sobriety under her belt and with my 3 years wet we’re able to finally make a life of our own and got good paying jobs and our own apartment and we had a baby who is 1 now and her kids are so happy she is back to normal after being confused for so long as to why their mom was so sick and gone a lot. Now we are about to get a house and our dreams are coming true and it’s all because of this wonderful place and their understanding staff that has been our backbone and support adjusting our doses when we were going through stressful situations in our life in order to make sure we didn’t relapse. I can’t thank them enough for their love. They are so kind and respectful and bend over backwards for you to have the support you need to actually get sober and we appreciate everything they do. You are not required to do anything (like groups and councilling, although it is available and the councilors are superb!)other and suit up and show up for the appointments and they have always been understanding if I was late or showed up without my appt and saw me right away. Every place for addiction and recovery should learn from them!!!!!! They are doing everything right because they leave it up to the patient to be responsible for their own recovery without pressure! We love you guys! And thanks Roxanne for running the place so well. I always love it when you play ericka badu in your office. Good choice! Thank you guys for a life well lived in recovery.

They have a counselor that my friend worked really well with. She finally has the help she needs to move forward.

The staff at the Tacoma office are wonderful. I’ve been coming here for over a year and couldn’t be happier. The provider’s are well informed and willing to spend time with each client. Most of all everyone is kind.… Asking for help is extremely challenging. Being treated with kindness saves lives!

They keep canceling appointments without contacting me. I spent 5 months in jail with no conviction no trial and now pretty much my option is suicide cuz when my appointments get canceled with no notice my reaction ends… up becoming the rationalization to deny me future services. I've needed mental health services since LAST December but no matter how many times I do go to sound integrated I don't get actual services just intakes. I have nothing to live for and although I would be able to get mental Healthcare else where the court is requiring that i use a company that does not actually supply me with any services other than have me call around trying to convince low income housing to accept me without knowing what kind of voucher I will eventually have to pay for said housing. I've mentioned to just about anybody who will listen that I need my meds adjusted but that's not going to happen is it? No that would just be more waiting for more intakes. Well it was worth a shot, but it's sound integrated or bust and I've been under there supposed since August. Not supposed to see the councilor for the first time till nov 22. A part of me died when I went into solitary confinement over a misdemeanor trespassing charge. I guess the rest of me just needs to catch up.

I went into the office as a walk in and didnt.call ahead of time. I found the location very easy and convenient driving wise,the office itself was very open spacious organized and had premium tv channel.for.patients to… enjoy .. I found the staff very polite and made me feel.less anxious.as I sat in the waiting room ..Heather one of the.councelorsnwas immediately on point ,she never once made me feel like I was being judged .She wavery empathetic and helped me settle in .I give her a lot of.stars

These guys are great. I’ve never been talked down to or ignored here like you do with other places. They are super nice and even when I was tripping out and having a really bad day they were patient and seemed to… understand. If you’re trying to stop and just want to get treated with out all the bs … come here.

I reached out to Sound Integrated health by mail from jail, a mess of my life I had made. I received a letter back that had so much support and understanding. Once I reached Prison, another letter came and I knew that… was the beginning of asking for help. I'm now a regular, once a week because I am learning I'm worthy of a life not 9nly free from the system but free of the chains of self destruction. Ask for help, you matter. Thank you staff at Sound Integrated Health.

I can’t express how amazing these people are. I adore everyone who’s helped me. Monica my substance abuse counselor is INCREDIBLE! Every employee I’ve had the pleasure of working with has been so kind and understanding.… I just am so grateful I found this place. I have gotten so much support here!

Honest evaluations with a very friendly, knowledgeable and respectful staff. They offer very informative classes that are not ridiculously and unnecessarily long. They don't assume everyone needs treatment just for the… money. They seem to be reasonably flexible with peoples needs. Learned a lot from the awareness/information class. This is a good place to go if you are in need, or require, the use of these services. Thank you Sound Integrated Health for not being corrupted by money or the government. Thank you to the Law Office of Barbara Bowden (my attorney) for refering me to this place! Good call!

My experience at sound integrated health made me realize who I was in what type of future I want in life taught me a lot of self care how to respect myself they put me in a good place in life why I shouldn't drink or do… drugs I want to thank my counselor Jermiah he was very helpful when it came to talking to someone even on a bad day he would give me good advice that will help me get through my problems I’ll appreciate y’all the groups are very helpful I never new I would of made it this far without them..
