About Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic – Fargo
Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic operates from 2624 9th Avenue South in Fargo. The site sits in Cass County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Briarwood, Frontier and North River. Distance matters here, and the nearest option is not always the one that fits.
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic Reviews and Ratings
Questions worth keeping in mind while reading Southeast Behavioral Health Clinic reviews: Was the assessment explained clearly? Were costs set out early? Was there a plan for after treatment?
Accounts that address points like these are usually the most informative.
It is as if you have to be a schizophrenic to receive help, all the other "diagnosis" the other mental health issues many deal with be damned.
Wasted four hours of my time to tell me they can’t prescribe me my medication.
"How neoliberal capitalism co-opted wellness culture. Key arguments: Structural oppression is rebranded as personal psychological failure. Corporate accountability is deflected, and profit is generated from individual… suffering. Widespread occupational stress is a structural issue of resource deprivation, not individual weakness (Job Demands-Resources model). The legal system reinforces individual blame over systemic toxicity. Corporate wellness programs shift the burden of endurance onto employees. Historical contrast: The radical origin of self-care as a political act of survival and collective resistance (Audre Lorde, Black Panther Party). The commodification process: Political intent was neutralized to align with neoliberal individualism. This created healthism, moralizing wellness and masking privilege. Suffering becomes a private, profitable problem. Individuals self-regulate to fit the system, rather than demanding structural change (Foucault's governmentality). Argues that modern wellness culture has been co-opted by neoliberal capitalism to rebrand structural oppression as personal psychological deficits, thereby deflecting corporate accountability and profiting from individual suffering. It explains that widespread occupational stress, disproportionately affecting women and specific sectors, is primarily a structural issue of resource deprivation, not individual weakness, as shown by the Job Demands-Resources model. The legal system reinforces this individual blame by focusing on employee vulnerability rather than systemic toxicity, and corporate wellness programs serve as superficial risk management tools that shift the burden of endurance onto workers. The video contrasts this with the radical history of self-care, which originated as a political act of survival and collective resistance against systemic oppression, exemplified by Audre Lorde and the Black Panther Party, emphasizing community and structural change. This political intent was neutralized and commodified, aligning with neoliberalism's focus on individual responsibility and leading to healthism, which moralizes wellness practices and masks the privilege of access, further privatizing suffering. This mechanism, described by Foucault's governmentality, encourages individuals to self-regulate and adjust to the system rather than demanding structural transformation."
Well well well. Never can telllll. My michel
Nothing but love for these folks they have done nothing but good for me. Every time I leave I feel like I've been touched by an angel. Beautiful people ❤️
call transferred 3 times still nobody answer.
I went there yesterday to get help with substance abuse problems and also being homeless. Planning to go back and did the full process today. Very nice welcoming staff members.
Brought an adult child in for help. Everyone says mental health matters, but when you bring them in...they just say go to the zone online. My child won't do that on their own. They didn't help do anything! Absolute… waste of time! No help whatsoever!
Pretty good for a government agency.
It makes me sad that places like that exist. I wonder how much money is wasted on those “people” that “work” there what a joke. Shut down that S&!T hole fire all those monsters working there, taking advantage of a… broken system, and use the money and resources to help those who need it. Instead of giving lazy people who don’t care a job were they can sit on their A$$ and treat people with mental illnesses like animals
I have been a patient here for years! My counselor and psychiatrist are fantastic! I understand not everyone agrees with me and that is their choice. I love it!
ALldi days every day once a year,
Worst place in town, but best place in town to waste your time. Filled out paper worked over a year ago for housing and a job along with a Dr. Was told I'd get a call be been calling them and never got help. Then my… case manager quit or something and everything I had with them was pretty much forgotten about. Do not go here
Judgement free zone. Warm and friendly staff who genuinely care for and about their clients.
This place is a joke. Feels like adult children running around playing pretend than actually doing anything to help. Incompetence and ignorance served fresh here. Other reviews seem to confirm same.
Nice helpful people
The receptionist working today 12/4 at my wife's10am fingerprinting appointment was rude and condescending. No excuse for that tone in public relations.
Great place if you want help.
Do not listen when you tell them no other clinics in town have helped and will deny on the smallest thing.
Worthless.
Receptionist for fingerprinting offered zero help for my problem. It would have been quicker and more helpful if there was nobody at the desk.
They are not worth the paper that is left in the toilet after its flushed
