Worst company ive ever dealt with in my life thix is not healthcare

Honestly never had a clinic make me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I came in and checked myself in on the sheet. The receptionist was not in office that day. A nurse from the back came and greeted me and then… left. That was the only nice interaction I had at this office. When I was taken back for intake i was immediately looked down on when I stated I had no insurance and would have to self pay. She got up and left the room saying she would have to check to see if moving forward was even a good idea. When she returned she didn't give an explanation just continued her questions. While explaining my mental health she was condescending and rude every time, even questioned I truly had mental health issues. I asked questions about the clinic and was told she couldn't answer them until I was an established patient. Basic questions, what services are offered, what is the clinics experience level with my issues, what counseling services are available. Her behavior was not ok. When she finished her questions she handed me a card with an appointment for counseling. She made this appointment without asking any information. She then told me someone from the office would call and schedule physiatrist follow up appointment. That call never came. I understand that most staff is overwhelmed, overworked, and on a tight schedule. That does not excuse poor behavior. People come there seeking help and with behavior like this it's no wonder people don't want to or walk out of clinics. Compassion, understanding, and a positive relationship can mean the world of difference in someone's care. I honestly hope this is not the experience in the future.

My psychiatrist of over 21 years, the one person that I was completely comfortable with, open with, trusted with complete indiscretion and trust, just to stop my treatment. I had no other options but to seek care in a… BMU. SpectraCare in Ozark Alabama was the only thing that saved me, encouraged me, and put me back on the path that reestablished my mental health. If you need comfort, with professional support and caring, I definitely recommend that you see what they can provide for you!

I was made to feel very comfortable here and Daphne helped me learn to relax. When I show up for an appointment I don't have to wait at all. The atmosphere and staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I'm on the… road to a happy and healthy recovery thanks to Spectracare. Dr. Lopez is a fine doctor and helps to keep me at ease. Angie is thorough, patient, understanding and empathetic with Recovery Group. Spectracare is helpful and makes me feel comfortable and relaxed.

This place is horrible they can’t function. I don’t understand how these people got hired waiting hours after my appointment time is set. The doctors don’t listen to you and force you to stay on meds you don’t want. The… front receptionist doesn’t understand how scheduling works.

They NEVER answer the dang phone

MY EXPERIENCE AT SPECTRACARE OZARK,AL. HAS MOSTLY BEEN POSITIVE.THE MAJORITY OF STAFF TREATED ME WITH RESPECT & KINDNESS.THEY HAVE HELPED ME FOR A MEDICATION I CANNOT AFFORD EVEN WITH INSURANCE. I APPRECIATE ALL THEY DO… FOR THEIR PATIENTS

The director/therapist Daphne is a joke. She acts like she hates her job and she's rude and has a nasty attitude.

No complaints, arrive early if possible..if 5 mins late you will be rescheduled..Dr Lopez is excellent at his job..

I should've shared this 3 years ago. Sadly the woman that was handling my mothers case refused to hear me and from what i understand, mightve lost her job from it (hopefuly).. If a relative says their mother may… unintentionally hurt herself, those who are there to help, should help. Luckily, I didn't stop with her until my mother got help. Im so happy i didn't give up on her, her case worker would've. My mom has suffered severe mental health issues. And because of the magistrate listening and the inpatient treatment with spectracare, including their ICP group home. I got my mother back. It had been years of unstable behavior. I had nearly lost hope or worse, lost my mother. So thank you so much. I believe in this program 100%. I do hope you test your staff occassionally. You can send me in behind closed doors at any time and see if they are loyal to their job of helping others or if they are only there for a paycheck.
