I feel that spring gardens has a great program. The staff is truly invested in its clients. The groups are well ran and diversified. Spring gardens has a very welcoming and caring atmosphere as well as nice facilities

This place was an extremely comfortable setting where I was able to start my recovery journey. The staff were so loving and caring and really made me feel welcome. It felt like they weren’t just there for a job but… actually cared about the out come of each patient. The groups were informative and I got a lot out of working with my counselor in individual sessions. Highly recommend spring gardens if yourself or a loved one is struggling

I took my son (early 20's) to Spring Gardens. It was local and they had availability. From the time I dropped him off, there was a feeling. During intake, they just wanted to sign all forms real quick - not giving time… to review them. Prior to dropping him off, I discussed the financials with the facility. I took him in on a Sunday. Since the director was not going to be in, he stated I could pay over the phone on Monday. I did so. However, there was a document my son refused after I paid because it said "if you are NOT the cardholder" do not sign. He didn't want to sign because he is NOT the cardholder. They called me to let me know he refused to sign it. I acknowledged the concern and explained my son was correct and that I need to sign since I am the card holder. All of it - just odd. Next. Come Thursday they called me to explain that they were taking him to the hospital to get his wrist checked out. He had a prior fall and his wrist was hurting him. They said they wanted him cleared. In NO time during that conversation was it explained to me that they were dropping him off at the hospital and they would pick him up once he was released! I asked if I should drive over to the hospital and they said "it's up to you". Had I known he would not be under their care I 100% would have gone to the hospital. Unfortunately, once released, he was no where to be found. I have still not heard from him since. That was 8-27-26. It is now 9-8-26. Also, upon admission. I explained I needed a detailed receipt to try to recoup my expenses. I was told "sure" I'll do whatever you need. Now I don't get the same answer. Now it's "go to your insurance company" to get info. SERIOUSLY?! He is not living up to his word at all. You know why? Because my son is now gone (thanks to them) and he's not getting paid. Not to mention there was a $75 charge for incidentals for my son. My financial agreement states it is for misc items. He verbally said it's a fee! It's ridiculous.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this money hungry place!

I wanted to Say this place is Great, the people that work here are Awesome, Specially Brad Wright who works in the front, Brad is the most amazing man, if your day is good, Brad will make it better, and if your having a… bad day and u catch im on. a hallway to say hello Again he will flip it around. He's one of the coolest person you'll meet right up front on this place.

I’m writing this anonymously because I do not feel comfortable putting my name on it. During my time at Spring Gardens, I became seriously worried about the way the BHT supervisor acted around younger female clients.… One morning when we were waking up for our walk, we all saw the BHT supervisor and a young female client sleeping together on the couch. He also held private meetings with younger female clients behind closed doors for long periods of time, leaving several of us feeling uncomfortable and trapped. The way he acted around younger women raised alot of red flags. We reported these concerns to management, so hopefully the right people were made aware. From what I saw, nothing meaningful was done about it. There are also rumors that he is dating a past patient who was receiving treatment there only two months ago. I cannot personally confirm the rumor, but with everything else, it makes me question the way he acts around girls and whether people are really safe there. I’m so glad I got out of there when I did and that I finally feel safe and supported enough to speak about what I witnessed. If you want to go here, make sure you ask alot of questions to make sure your safe. Also ask exactly what services they actually offer because what is shown on the website and what they really do are completely different.

Sharing for other spouses out there that think we are sending our loved one to a safe, healing environment. It's not always what it seems. The male staff have pretty unlimited access around the female clients who are… vulnerable and emotionally struggling. I found inappropriate messages sent from one particular male tech to my wife that occurred in rehab and continued after. Blame is not one sided but it's a sad reality that the professional lines can be blurred so much in a coed environment like that. Wanted others to be aware and informed when making a very difficult decision. We will not be going back to Spring Gardens after this for sure.

As someone who works in the behavioral health field, I feel obligated to be honest: my experience at this treatment center was negative and, at times, felt emotionally unsafe. I did not feel supported in therapy.… Instead, I often felt judged and singled out. Being labeled as “attention seeking” in a clinical setting was not only dismissive, but damaging—especially in a place where people are supposed to feel safe enough to be vulnerable. The overall environment felt unprofessional. There was a lack of respect and, at times, a noticeable tension that made it difficult to trust the staff or the process. Rather than feeling like I was in a space focused on healing, I often felt uncomfortable and on guard. In my opinion, this is not the standard of care people should expect from a residential treatment center. When someone is seeking help, they deserve professionalism, compassion, and a sense of safety—none of which I consistently experienced here. I would not return, and based on my experience, I would not recommend this facility—especially for women who are early in recovery and need a genuinely supportive environment. The BHT’s, chef Lesa, and supervisor were amazing. This review is more towards clinical and admin staff and their unprofessionalism.

I spent some time at this facility, and ultimately I had to leave due to a situation that I’d rather not get into. I’m choosing to let that part go and focus on what I feel is important to share. What I will say is that… there were techs on the floor who truly showed up every day with consistency and heart. There’s one in particular I’m thinking of — I can’t recall his name, it wasn’t the easiest to pronounce — but he carried himself with a level of presence and care that didn’t go unnoticed. The kind of energy you hope to find in a place where people are trying to heal. At the same time, there was an undercurrent that didn’t sit right with me. I experienced what felt like retaliation and a strong sense of control in the dynamics behind the scenes. As someone seeking peace and clarity, that kind of energy can be unsettling. I also noticed a lot of internal tension being spoken about openly around clients. In my view, people in treatment shouldn’t be exposed to staff conflicts or internal issues. That space should feel grounded, safe, and focused on recovery — not influenced by things happening behind the curtain. It’s also worth mentioning that for a place that presents itself in a more holistic light, there seemed to be a strong reliance on medication. That may work for some, but it didn’t align with what I personally expected walking in. I share this not out of anger, but from a place of reflection. I hope the environment continues to grow in a way that truly supports the people who walk through those doors looking for something better.

My experience at Spring Gardens Recovery was completely transformed because of one person — Amilcar. Calling him a staff member honestly doesn’t do justice to what he is or what he does. He was the foundation that held… everything together, the steady presence that made one of the most vulnerable times in my life feel safe, supported, and even hopeful. While others clocked in and out, Amilcar showed up with his whole heart every single day. He cooked meals that felt like comfort when people needed it most, kept the house running flawlessly, cleaned without ever being asked, monitored everything to make sure we were safe, and somehow still found time to check on each of us like we truly mattered. Nothing slipped past him, and no one ever felt invisible when he was around. Rehab is supposed to feel heavy — overwhelming, emotional, and difficult. But because of Amilcar, it didn’t feel institutional or cold. He created an atmosphere that felt alive, human, and genuinely caring. On the hardest days, his presence alone made things feel manageable. He didn’t just maintain the house; he lifted the entire spirit of it. There were moments when giving up would have been easier, but people kept going because Amilcar made you believe you could. That kind of dedication can’t be trained — it comes from someone who truly cares about the people he’s helping. Spring Gardens Recovery may be the facility, but Amilcar is the reason it feels like a place where real healing happens. His impact goes far beyond his role, and I will carry the gratitude for what he did for me for the rest of my life.

Let me start by saying this Recovery center is by far the best in Florida. The attention to detail for every patient is their top priority. If you want a life changing experience and want to save you or a loved ones… life, call them today. The therapist are very knowledgeable and you do get to see them 2 to 3 times a week. They not only focus on your disease, but also incorporate your family in family sessions, which brought me and my family closer than we have ever been in alot of years. The staff is very attentive, caring, helpful, and go above and beyond for everyone. You get to go on outings, aquatics, meaning go on a boat, see manatees, movies, bowling also they have a sauna. The Yoga class led by Kasha is the best I've ever attended, 5 days a week also. Chef Lesa and Chef Megaen are top notch in food preparation, fresh, homemade, and very delicious. The nursing staff are very personable, caring and have you comfortable quickly after admission. The BHTs are the very best in the field, and they all take very good care of you. They saved my life, literally, and saved my relationship with my family. I have no desire to pick up anymore today and I am grateful for Spring Garden. I had no prior knowledge of where to go, and as my first rehab experience I was honestly… terrified. I admitted myself to Spring Gardens 17 months ago. It was the best experience ever. The accommodations were great, the staff were amazing, and the treatment I received was class A! I was in pretty bad shape when I… arrived. With the care I received, I have begun the rebuilding process.

This is the only place I've been to rehab, but after going here I wouldn't go anywhere else. They truly do care about you, and it's small enough that you really do matter to them. It's not some medical facility that… makes you feel like a number or a problem. Even every meal has you in mind. Yes, it's rehab. Any discomfort comes from yourself really, which is normal. I've had the privilege of swimming with manatees, going to the beach, doing yoga daily from being here. They also will help you medically with any issue you may have (within reason) I had some alternative medical issues and was fully met with anything I needed to feel better with medications and was fully listened to. Obviously you're not getting narcotics. If you need help this is not a scary place, it's actually one of the best experiences of my life.

Spring Gardens saved my life. Wonderful staff, nurses, and chefs who genuinely care about the clients. Food is amazing, the place is very clean and provided a safe atmosphere. Spring gardens has changed my life.I enjoyed all the activities and groups.i recommend this program to everyone who's struggling with addiction or just with mental health.thank u to everyone there.even after I graduated… they reached out to me to check on me.I want to also say thank u to Eric because if it wasn't for him calling over and over the week before I went in I wouldn't ever had the courage to go.All the staff are friendly.Ms.sam is amazing person.All the nurses are amazing as well.I mean I never been to a program before where everyone welcomes u with u a smile everyday like this one did.

Spring Gardens Recovery is the best detox/ residential program you could possibly go to. This place is life changing. Hey, this is Clayton. Thank you all so very much. This facility changed my life. The staff here was helpful beyond belief. Brought me back from the brink when I was hopeless. When I was broken. Where do I start?... The… food was delicious and nutritious. I had no idea I would be eating like a a king. I was so malnourished before I came here. I mentioned the food first for a reason 🤣 The education I received there was like nothing else. Innovative, holistic care you can't find anywhere else. I like to call it "real treatment". Every facility should model themselves after Spring Gardens Detox and Recovery. They are ahead of the times. I have some shout outs to do here... huge thanks to all the staff that all truly cared and strived to help each and every client. Including me. To anyone reading this review: this place has the healing you need. They truly care here. It's just a cozy group of only 20 clients. Its a community. A second family here. Not one of those overpopulated rehabs I have heard about. There are more staff than clients! There is no better treatment out there. Call them, then... "just show up". (They also do a great job with your insurance and anyother type of paper work) The recovery really does start here. "To another day without a drink or a drug! Woooooo!"

This is a place with a serene atmosphere and a small intimate setting. My experience here educated me in the recovery process and gave me an opportunity for a fresh start and a clear mind. All of the staff is… exceptional and Nurse Elizabeth, Chef Liza, BHT's Laura and Bob and the therapist Linda were very professional and truly cared about the clients. If someone I know needs help I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility.

Spring Gardens Recovery changed my life! Their mind, body and spirit approach to addiction is exactly what I needed. I've been to many inpatient rehabs, but Spring Gardens got to the core of my addiction and healed me… in so many ways. I got rid of my guilt and shame, forgave myself and others and learned who I really was. It brought out my spirituality and love for life.
