My first sober living experience was honestly a great one. The house was always clean, well-managed, and Andy went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Andy didn’t just manage the house he… actually cared about us. He took us to meetings, helped me and others work through personal issues, and made sure the whole house felt like a brotherhood. He also took us on some really great outings, including an Angels game, Malibu Creek Park, and seeing the Hollywood sign. Overall, it was a great experience and a huge part of my sobriety journey. Thank you, Andy, for making me feel at home, supporting me, and helping me stay sober. I’m truly grateful!

My experience living at The District has been incredibly positive. From the beginning, it has felt safe, welcoming, and comforting. Having a peaceful and supportive place to live has made such a meaningful difference as… I’ve continued working on my recovery. I especially want to recognize my house manager, Colleen. She has been kind, supportive, and helpful throughout my entire time here. Her presence has helped make the house feel comfortable and welcoming while still providing the structure needed in sober living. I’m also extremely grateful for my housemates. I won’t mention them by name out of respect for their privacy, but they have each helped make this house feel like a home. Everyone has allowed me to be myself while giving me the space and encouragement to grow in the ways I’ve needed to. I can honestly say that I haven’t had a single negative experience with anyone during my time at The District. It has become a place of comfort for me, and I’ll always appreciate the support, connections, and memories I’ve gained here.

My sober living experience @ the district recovery was amazing! Really made to feel like home while living there. My house manager really made me feel welcomed & safe & very encouraged to see the way my "house mom"… transitioned from being a client to management & not only excelled in personal experience but in the field of guiding women like myself into a better way of living amongst peers! Thanks! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bad business practices by therapist Martin Lopez. Unprofessional. I did reach out to Alliance Recovery and gave them my phone number, requesting a call back and details involving the incident. My call was never return. I… am a United States Navy veteran and I take things like this seriously as well. This is why I had to report the incident to the Department of Justice, civil rights act department.

These people stole an 800.00 Magnolia Pearl jacket from me along with a 300.00 dollar pair of professional hair cutting shears. I called several times in attempts to get my items back and they played dumb. They 💯 stole… from me and I would never recommend sending anyone to treatment with thieves. SUCKS to get taken advantage of like this in a “recovery community.”

The sober living house I lived in was amazing. Impeccably clean. Divided by gender which was very important for me. Chores and responsibilities are divided fairly and are not overwhelming. Most people in the house are… respectful of other people’s property with the exception of one or two people. But at the same time, the environment was situated in a way that it is comfortable to address any issues in the house. The roommates I had are good and I am leaving with a community I feel close to.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough positive things about The District Recovery Community. I was in treatment here from August 2024 to November 2024 and from the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed, supported, and… understood. The staff is truly compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping every individual on their recovery journey. The treatment programs are comprehensive, offering a perfect blend of therapy, medical support, and education that address both the mind and body. My Case Manager David C. and my Therapist Kate L. genuinely care about me and took the time to tailor treatment plans to my individual needs. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and provides a safe, healing environment. One of the most valuable aspects of my experience was the sense of community. Attending group outings and AA meetings helped me build connections with others who truly understand the struggles of addiction. The aftercare planning was also phenomenal. After graduating the program, I was hired on as a House Manager, a wonderful opportunity that is sure to keep me working in the field for many years to come. I came to California for treatment, but what I got was a newfound passion for helping others. Thanks to The District Recovery Community, I now have a fresh start and a renewed sense of hope. If you or a loved one are struggling with addiction, I highly recommend this center—it truly changes lives!

My experience with The district sober living has been outstanding. the homes are as advertised and I happen to have one with beautiful pool in the backyard. They create groups that are relevant to each person… individually, and the bonus is that they provide lunch—and it’s pretty good! The case managers, house managers, therapists, and facilitators are at the absolute top of the list. They also offer special outings and recreational opportunities, like going to the gym. On top of that, transportation is provided if you need to get to doctor’s appointments and other similar commitments. The information and knowledge they share is really simple, yet very profound and powerful. It’s the kind of insight that makes a deep impact,

The sober living was clean, up to date, and spacious. The house managers were respectful, caring, and understanding. I enjoyed my stay here and felt at ease. The treatment facility was a great resource for my recovery.… I learned a lot of great skills, had an amazing treatment team, had helpful sessions with my therapist and case manager, and the staff were respectful. Overall, the groups were in depth, engaging, and helpful for processing, learning new skills, and developing new thought processes. I would highly recommend this program for anyone looking for help with mental health and/or addiction.

I've felt like there was no hope for soo long until I found district recovery. Tyler (my house manager) made it a place I was proud to stay in, clean organized no drama. I was greeted with a smile and unlike most places… the smile continued everyday which was contagious to me. I've found myself again. Today I am able to look myself in the mirror and I love who I see staring back.

I had a great experience at The District and the sober living house I was in. We had a very nice house pretty much right on the beach. The center was very nice as well, great personnel and group facilitators. The house… mangers were cool but kept to the house rules. We had weekly organized outings usually on Saturdays like the Getty museum, soft ball games, and hikes. If you need to check into a program I recommend The District by Renaissance Recovery. -Pete Episcopo - Former Client

My experience at the district has been extremely positive. The housing is second to none in cleanliness, it’s extremely organized and well maintained. Tyler runs a structured, extremely fair ship. The house I lived in… was right by the beach and was always on point. It’s very obvious that Tyler cares deeply about our success. We also get to do some fun, team building outings on weekends, while also maintaining a strict schedule of self help meetings each week. I don’t know where I would be without this house and the district recovery community.
