If you take this program seriously and respect the staff and other clients, it can change your life. I had to do it a second time before I really became willing to change. They can’t do it for you, but they can help you… get there. Highly recommend going if you need help. Also wanted to thank my clinician Harry for helping me every step of the way. Never give up!

My name is Louis Martin, I went yesterday for alcohol treatment and left the same day. Every review Is Right!!! Nobody is lying!!! I couldn’t even stay the whole day. The staff treat you like your stupid and their… disrespectful as hell!!! Not only that you can tell certain staff were off of either alcohol or some type of drug. It’s supposed to be a treatment facility, NOT JAIL!!!! When I Grabbed My Stuff To Leave I’m Sitting Outside The On The Bench In Front Waiting For My Ride. Some white haired blue eyed devil staff came outside aggressively and said “you need to leave before I call the police” I said “damn I’m just waiting on my ride” he came back at me said “yea you can do it out there off of this property, leave before I call the police!” Mind you we are in the middle of nowhere, literally!!!!! So I left and went down street to Gas Station while it’s all of 90 degrees outside. It’s stuff like that that lets you know they really don’t care care about you because I deal with depression and mental health, and to tell me your gonna call the police when I haven’t did anything wrong but try to wait on ride makes me feel like, or honestly would make anyone feel like their not wanted and all the nice talk and gestures were fake and they really don’t care!!! The more people come in the more money they make is all they look at and care about.

I should have paid attention to the reviews. These people are telling the truth. They told me I couldn’t have 90% of my meds, told me I could leave whenever I want but then she says they make it very very hard for you… to leave. Then she tells me I can’t use the phone for two weeks and made me sign up for foodstamps. So they could “feed me” I said I’ve changed my mind I don't want to stay. Once they let me leave. I rang the doorbell to use the restroom and the lady comes to the door and tells me she’s not allowed to let me back In. Horrible and so glad I didn’t complete Intake

1star only because has to give anything to comment. My opinion do not I repeat do not go to this scam of a place if your seeking actual help. They tell you 45 days but when that is up they ship you across the street to… grateful life to do another 6 months to a year so they can get more insurance and food stamps. Also, the staff is disrespectful along with it a filthy mental health breakdown of anything but positive environment. Not forget to mentions judges own these facilities! What a joke!

I personally was never here, however my daughter was a client here. She met with her therapist only twice (so there was never a relationship built), never got a family meeting and was pulled to the side and was told her… “recommendation” was Brighton. A 6-9 month in patient program. She has a daughter to care for and a life to get back to, she politely declined the offer and they made her leave. My daughter hit ten years of sobriety January 19th of this year, she had a lapse, the recommended treatment they are trying to recommend her is out of this world and completely unnecessary, she got off of heroin without in patient and she is currently clean and sober and I have no doubt she will hit another ten years and will live clean and sober until she leaves this earth. She of course wants to comply until her attorney can get things right for her, but she called Brighton and also went there, they don’t have a file for her, she completed their pre-screen and was told she would get a call and hasn’t heard from them and she has contacted them about it as well. Nobody can give her any answers as to why Brighton was the recommendation, and life learning center who recommended RTC also has no answers as to why she was recommended into long term treatment. Nothing is adding up, and nothing is making sense. She’s getting her life back together and sending her to a program that long is uncalled for and hinders her relationship with her daughter, not to mention she has stable housing and has a job waiting on her. Hopefully this place or whoever is in charge of doing this comes to their senses and can get her into IOP as she is more than willing to do any type of out patient treatment/programs. Her attorney is working to handle this I am sure, but this place seems scammy… Not to mention she also stated she was in there with a few other people who were advised they’d be going home and then last minute switched to also having to go to Brighton, and this was after they had told their families they’d be coming home. Again, seems scammy, are they getting grants for sending people there since it’s a “non profit” organization or what, there’s gotta be an explanation for the complete non sense.

For your own sake, I hope and pray when you read the reviews on this place, don't do what I did and just brush them off as addicts who just aren't taking accountability. This place really just don't care. The big girl… with the big chest and loud voice and even louder horrendous laugh, that runs it, is the worst 1 of all, she's is more interested with flirting with the guys working there(whom most are in sober living themselves) than she is interested in helping people get through recovery. I was 1 of maybe 3 other girls who were a self referral, and the only thing they took serious was gossiping about the same people that came to them for help. I never had a bad experience with staff, I just witnessed how they treated people and it wasn't very good. They say it's a 28 day program, that's a lie, and here's the kicker, the counselor's that are supposed to assess you don't decide how long you stay, 28? 30? 48? Noooo, they force you to sign up for KY snap benefits and state insurance and then the insurance company decides how long you shld stay, they know nothing about you, you are only a number in their Pyramid scheme. If you are serious about recovery and not just court ordered to go somewhere, then keep looking. You will not find the help you need here. I could keep on going on reasons why not to go, but it's too much to sit and type out.

Personal experience. Alcohol. The situation they put me in was not what I was expecting. Instead of teaching me, they told me. Left after 10 days via the VA system. The VA will never refer to them again. Why was I… demanded to sign up for Medicaid and food stamps when I was completely covered and a self referral with insurance and 100% VA coverage. Please look up other rehabs before reaching out to them.

I wish I could rate lower still in shock that this place claims to be any type of helpful for any type of problem a person may have. Was sent here for a 28 day program was mocked and be raided from 1st encounter till… they refused to allow me in and without any other word just walked off and left me in the lobby. So I'm now I wait till Monday morning will see my P. O. And see what to do next but tell ya what jail would prolly be better or at least just as good as this place could offer . This is a typical spoiled brat type place that want you to lie to them and they mad if they have to really work but they have such a low rating and it's obviously true from my 1st impression. I feel any other rehab would have to at least match this one . 100,, %

This place did not help my son with his detox we cold have done it at home with more compassion .The staff made fun of his hair of all things. When I picked him up I told the person in charge and she said this is the… first I have heard of this. Like he was comfortable saying anything about the persons that had control of his time there. Then she said that she doesn’t see her staff doing that. At that point I saw she was part of the problem. These places are supposed to help people.

For all you wondering about this rehab, let me please help you with your decision. I have never found more loving people in my life. The staff, care and love each individual who walks through those doors. All these bad… reviews are done by people who did not want to comply with the steps of recovery. From medics staff to who prepares your food. It’s all lavished with love, care and kindness.

This place has been a great experience! I was coming off alcohol and one of my friends referral me here. One of the best decisions I made in a while. I came in and I was welcomed with open arms even tho I was extremely… intoxicated. I came in and refocused on myself. Today I’m clean and in one of the recovery houses. And I will be back to get a job. It helps you if you let it.

Look People None Of Us Get here on A Winning Streak, For Me This Experience Was Life Or Death. Staff was Very Caring, Patient, Understanding, And Professional. I Was there 45 days And I Learned So Much about My… Addictions And MySelf, Living, And Self Care. All I Really Had To Do Is Listen, Pay Attention, Take Accountability And Follow Some Everyday Rules in Life. I completed The 45 day Treatment With Hope And Confidence And the Proper Tools. I was Taught To Be Able to Live Life on Life's Terms Without Drugs or Alcohol. I Moved into Recovery Housing Where I was able to Get A Job, Pay Rent, Take care of Myself and Gain Stability To live A Healthy And Positive Life. For Those Who May Think it Isn't Possible, Believe Me I was Homeless And Hopeless, And Now I'm 2 yrs Sober And Starting A New Job making $60,000 a year!! Not A Bad Life Today And It All Started Here At Transitions RTC... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend To Anyone Who Needs Help😁💪♥️

Everything this place does is for your own good, might suck while inpatient but I see now why they do it. I met some great people there on staff and clients. They have a Doctor and Dentist on site as well as a Chef in… the kitchen. It really is a decent place if you are capable of following simple rules and can respect leadership. I'm grateful for the opportunity and I'm 3 months clean and sober today!

They DO NOT care about humans. They want your insurance money and food stamps! Out of the dozen staff members I came in contact with, two seemed like genuine caring people. Men suffering through detox with little help,… dirty, medical/jail settings. The clientele are mostly court ordered and do not care about getting help. If you are serious about recovery, and want to do it in a loving caring setting, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. When I first got there I waited 3 hours to talk to someone, I was sick and vomiting, they offered me milk! Because it wasn’t during “meal times” This place is a joke. This is my third rehab in my life and by FAR the worst experience. I requested to transfer to a different facility and they basically lied and begged me to stay, they made it very difficult for me to leave. Then when I said my mind is already made up I’m leaving, they said get all my stuff and get off the property. Threatened to call the police if I didn’t start walking down a highway wearing long pants and long shirt in 80 degree weather. I said, sir thanks for proving my point as of why I want to leave. He said, You’re welcome! Wow- I’ve never been so disrespected in my life. Goodluck in recovery! One day at a time;)

My dad and I just came to learn about the services offered here. Very pleasant and informative interaction with Jesse, Site Operations Manager! Only 4/5 since I haven't enrolled (yet?) but I believe this to be a better… facility than ratings might show. I encourage you to check them out.

This place is supposed to help people. But instead they interegate, demean, and leave a helpless young lady to fend for herself with not even so much as the ability to use a phone. Locking the doors on her and telling… her to walk to the nearest gas station with all of her belongings. No concern at all for what happened to her. All because a few hours in to intake she did not conform to what they wanted her to say and believe. It's a disgusting place with equally disgusting staff. One star was far too generous but necessary to leave this opinion

This place is a joke all you dk is sit around all day in a room. Fighting to stay awake cause no one teaches anyone there. Owner is about money and trying to send you to the 6+ month program. They constantly tell other… clients business to other clients. Just like if you go to the transition housing or sober living anything that happens there the woman Stacey Hughes who runs the houses tells everyone the clients business when it is not suppose to be told to other clients in the house. She is also known for kicking men and females out mostly women cause she don't like them and makes up lies to do it. She tries to say you owe more money than you do for rent and on top of it has no clue what it's like to be an addict but yet thinks she knows everything about being in recovery. Although she is a heavy drinker and does not think she is an alcoholic. I would stay away from this location and sober living as she made up lies to get me and another kicked out of the house cause I was behind due to I didn't get the government funding like others did even though I paid extra a week to get it caught up. DON'T GO HERE....!!!
