University of Maryland Medical Center – Baltimore (22 South Greene Street) appears on the register for residential treatment. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Why does UMMC make cancer patients come to their facility every day and make them sit around for hours knowing they have a constant platelet shortage and then send them home with NO platelets? The system is broken and… forgot how important or how to care about the actual patients. They only see $$$$, very sad and unfortunate. Thanks to all the Healthcare and Insurance companies that only care about your money!

Absolute trash of a hospital. How can you tell a 5 year old that sat in a car for over an hour to see his mother that he cant see her without an appointment. Fire every decision maker in this hospital and start over.… They are trash. Reviews say EVERYTHING. They care nothing about anybody. Edit: I would understand had they SIMPLY picked up the phone and called me to let me know appointments would need to be made. They have my number. They have called before. We had NO APPOINTMENT just two weeks ago and had no problems. The sadness I saw in my 5 year olds eyes I will never forget. Whats more is the only person that showed any sympathy for him was the door greeter… everyone else at check in is heartless trash. EDIT2: Just found out my sons mother was left in her piss all night. I am now taking steps to sue this disgrace of an establishment. I recorded her phone call thankfully. Please everyone keep your loved ones away from this shit hole. Disgusting! Stay tuned…

Was helped here with my partially paralized face, luckily it wasn't a stroke. Got helped by a few people of which Amanda Rocco was the one who really took extra time that she didn't have to be honest. It was busy and it… took a while but Amanda and the others did all they could. After Neurology checked me I was send to the Pharmacy but Amanda walked along to show me where I needed to be. Thank you and your colleagues Amanda !! A patient that is getting better day by day, not talking like Rocky Balboa anymore and can wink again with my left eye !! 😉🖖🏼 Live Long and Prosper !!

My husband had endoscopic laser surgery on the seventh floor today with Dr. Greenwald. First, I want to recognize Roberta in the Family Waiting area. She couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. She is a real asset to… your team. The doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists and anesthetists were all caring, informative, and helpful. A surgical procedure is never fun, but everyone worked together to make it as pleasant as possible. Thank you!

Worst medical center I've been to lately. As a MS patient im always in some type of medical center or hospital & i will definitely not go back here,I felt rushed & I couldn't even get all Mt symptoms out because it's… like I lost all thoughts when the doctor came in rushing me & telling me we need to rush because of the other patients so I basically went to the emergency department for nothing other then finding out my heart rate was ok.2 days later I was rushed back to the emergency room smh.

I keep calling to speak with my chemo doctor Pham and her nurse if she’s not available I just got hung up on. They’re not taking my health serious like I am and they have no bed side manners. The chemo team is telling… me I have to get another MRI because I refused an IV that will trigger my cancer cells to regrow again, and I was told the next MRI appointment won’t be until August 31st. I’m not happy at all with the services I am receiving. I requested another chemo doctor but I was told Pham is the only one that I have to go to. When I was confronted by Pham about my issue she tried to call me a racist when I’m bi-racial. I want my treatments to be taken seriously just as much as I am.

The wait time for a room is ridiculous. Got to wait hours and hours. Homeless people sleeping on the floor and security doesn’t do much about it. How do I need to talk to about not being able to pay my faculty… physicians bill due to being currently unemployed? I do not want to be sent to collections. The last thing I need right now is a collections company constantly calling my phone.

Most horrible wait time. 3 hours waiting for schedule med. But others around are receding theirs. Lack of empathy of patients. Should fire all pharmacy staff and get qualified people.

Came here to get a referral for a treatment facility. Before traveling from Watsontown, PA I called and my fiance called separately as well asking about whether I could be helped for my substance abuse. And they said… yes so I had a my wifey drive all the way to Watsontown from hampstead Maryland. I spent 9pm to 8:10am sitting here checked in and not seen not helped once. They never even let me speak to a peer support worker like they said they would. They also never put my insurance cards on file after writing my social security number down. Either the demons working here as staff don’t want me to get into treatment or they suck at doing their job and do not care. I am so upset i literally feel forgotten about. Worse hospital experience ever tbh. Never come here unless you’re unconscious and have no say in the matter cause you woke up here. If you WAKEUP HERE GET YOURSELF TRANSFERRED!!!! Terrible place!

As much as I appreciate the doctors treating my father-in-law, I must express my disappointment with the diagnosis they gave him. It was completely inaccurate; they treated the symptoms, and they pushed him out the… door. We ended up going to a different hospital where the doctors cared for us and conducted the testing. We were fortunate to find the issue because they conducted more thorough testing than the doctors at the Maryland University of Health System. Because they did not test everything and failed to look for any signs, my father-in-law could have lost his life. We discovered that he had stage three cancer. A patient is not just a number on a chart; they are a human being who deserves care and attention. As a future doctor, it is crucial to remember that you will be responsible for your patients' care and not causing harm. Doctors are bound by the Hippocratic oath!

They just want to charge you as much as possible. I had an outpatient office visit with a surgeon here, which I scheduled beforehand. I wasn't planning a surgery, I already had it (at another place), and I just needed a… basic checkup and an x-ray. The bill that I received said "hospital services", what hospital services were included in my visit? I was not their hospital patient. I had a scheduled appointment with a specialist doctor. Instead of charging me $100 - 35 for the visit, and 65 for the x-ray, I was charged 140, and nowhere I received an explanation or breakdown of that price. I tried reaching out, but it seems this is how they do business. Will avoid this place in the future.

As my wife is working through her Leukemia, she needs to receive maximum support, belief, and Love. The nurses who administer her Chemotherapy treatments on a regular basis are absolutely fantastic! The old adage for me… is your experience is usually based on the person who answers the phone in customer service or the person who is working with you in person. Every single nurse who takes care of us on the 7th floor Infusion Wing, have always treated us like family and given us the utmost care. We feel totally fortunate for choosing UMMC as our hospital of care Allison and Ted Herman

Abusive Techs & NURSES. They manhandle you, talk down to you and physically hurt you. Unit 3DS HAS RETALIATION FROM narcissistic poor excuses of humans who should be trying to help you, not abuse you physically. I was… hurt very badly from a devilish woman here, every day is worse than the last. I hope to get out alive, it is reverse discrimination here. It's safer to get help from strangers on a street, then come to this abusive Hospital Adding to this review, the charge nurse Susan and pearl TALK DOWN TO YOU AND ARE LITERALLY THE WORST BY PUTTING PEOPLE DOWN WITH A FATAL DISEASE

Terrible health care system from emergency needs to family practice. Dirty facilities and very unprofessional. Waited 6 hours in emergency room at their satellite facility in Aberdeen. Wound up leaving along with 3… other patients who were there before me. Family practice Doctor in Bel Air MD said he has way too many patients to see and can not fit you into an appointment unless 1-2 months out. Very disappointed and will be changing doctors and never going to a Univ MD Hospital ever again.
