About Valley Healthcare System – Fairmont (10 Crosswind Drive)
Valley Healthcare System operates from 10 Crosswind Drive in Fairmont. The site sits in Marion County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Barrackville, Carolina and Enterprise. West Virginia draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Detox and residential treatment are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Detox and Rehab Services at Valley Healthcare System
Withdrawal management covers alcohol, benzodiazepine, cocaine, methamphetamine and opioid dependence and is handled on site rather than referred elsewhere. Someone starting in detox can move into residential care without changing provider or repeating an intake. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Residential runs both short and long term, so the question at intake is which length the assessment points toward. Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Very hard company to get ahold of, my grandsons clothing/backpack was not forwarded with him when he left, I called immediately talked to several people that said the back pack was their Britain she forwarded my call to… Kyle who I left 3 message, no response I sent a letter that they received, I talked to the person that opened the mail. Then I was transferred to someone that said his belongings were picked up by a family member, that was a lie. All I wanted was his belongings back how inconsiderate, they lied to me, which has made me contact a lawyer to pursue monetary value fir his belongs. People like to steal there beware
The woman Nichole was very very helpful to me and I want to send recognition on her behalf. She was extremely professional and caring! This was out of morgantown through the hotline, when I really really needed somebody… to talk to during a very stressful time. She provided me with the upmost excellent service! 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Gottha love these guy’s …
Oooh how i wish i could put 0 stars! I went there as a second attempt at turning my life around.. went in very sick..was there only 3 days before they narcaned me 3 times for taking a nap, they found nothing on me or in… my things but still swore i snuck something in because the same three things i had in my system when i came in 3 days prior were still in my system ( normally takes about 5 clear from system)(also i would like to add that from the time i told them i was laying down for a nap to when i was sitting in the hospital for bloodwork to “prove i snuck something in” was legitimately only an hour and a half), after that whole fiasco i told them i didnt think that they were a good facility for me and that i wanted to leave to find somewhere else, they filed a mental hygiene on me..and i left in handcuffs, then had to go sit at the police station and do a video hearing to prove my competency…and if all that wasnt bad enough i later discovered they had stolen out of my personal belongings while i was there, that place is an absolute nightmare and i wouldnt send my worst enemy there. The staff are rude and completely incapable of any kind of compassion or understanding of what it actually takes to help someone get out of the grasp of addiction and headed on a better path… if you are looking for help and want a better life, call Harmony Ridge. Dont put yourself through the misery of this atrocity they pretend is a “treatment facility “
Great place they care about your recovery as much as you do. The staff is caring, understanding, and makes you feel like your with family and not looking down or judging you. It's just an all around great rehab and I… have them to thank for my recovery and saving my life!!!
My Boyfriend is receiving out Patient rehab and they recently took in my minor son for some issues with no hesitation. Pointed me in all the right directions I needed for both of my guys.
Do NOT take anyone you love here. Absolute prison and dangerous facility. Disgusting. Threatening.
Well organized with great Staff.
I went here for about 5 months. This place is a blessing the women aide really helped. My life is what it is today because of valley and the people that work here. Thank u to all the staff. If u don't think u can get… clean and stay clean neither did I but here I am wit almost a year
Great rehab friendly clients and workers. Katty is like the mom who takes care of anything you need like appointments to doctors, getting prescriptions filled and she will listen to you and help if she can. She's super… sweet and hard worker if it wasn't for her I would of left and I wouldn't of completed my rehab stay. Thank you miss Katty I'll never forget your kindness and love you showed all of us.
Would give this place 0 stars if I could!! Supposed to help people with a drug problem well what if that person has other issue’s depression or anger or anxiety trauma issues etc?!?!? If that’s the case they careless!!… Seems to me they have no care for anyone that they feel is going to be any work to help!!! They don’t care!!
They did a good job. They did everything possible to help me with my withdrawal.Counslers were awesome people who could relate to exactly what people are going through because they have been through it themselves. I… wish I hadn't waited this long to feel this good 👍
Very nice facility and staff was professional. Would recommend this facility to anyone seeking treatment for drugs and alcohol! Allow smoking
If your thinking about trusting this place to take care of you or a family member DONT, I have never seen staff who care less about patients!
Was a patient there for about 4 months, I kicked out for flipping a table. My name is Greg. I feel I have been wrongfully thrown out. I have mental issues and feel discrimination against me
The Valley Health Care has been moved to 111 Elkins Street Fairmont. It's currently the Disability Action Center since this December of 2021. Because of the flooding.
If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke. Ugh I want to scream. They don't care about there patients here. I'm finding another physiatrist asap. I'm so fed up
They have a ridiculous turnover rate for doctors and therapists. Get used to one and you can bet they'll be leaving and your next appointment will be with the new guy. On the positive side, they offer their own type of… "insurance", Valley Care. If you don't have insurance, or even if you do, but meet income criteria, you will qualify to be seen at very little to no cost to you.
