About Valley Hope of Wichita – Wichita

Valley Hope of Wichita operates from 650 South Westdale Drive in Wichita. The site sits in Sedgwick County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Augusta and Maize. Kansas draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Valley Hope of Wichita

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Valley Hope of Wichita Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 650 South Westdale Drive, Wichita, KS 67209, in Sedgwick County. The catchment reaches Augusta and Maize. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

Kinda got ghosted (we were supposed to meet once more, and my account was shut down, no emails, calls, nothing)...But overall, great experience and kept me in line. About three years I was part of Valley Hope (I didn't… have to) and I do not regret it at all, despite the not so great ending.
