Virtua Mount Holly Hospital – Mount Holly Reviews and Ratings
If you are comparing treatment programs in Mount Holly, the reviews of Virtua Mount Holly Hospital in this section are worth a few minutes. If you have already been a patient there, your review is worth a few minutes to someone else.
I had an excellent experience with having a mammogram done at Virtua Memorial Hospital. I have had at least four mammograms done here and each time was a pleasant experience. The staff is welcoming, friendly,… professional, and courteous. Today, Peg was my registrar and Debbie conducted the imaging. Thank you for taking such great care of me. I highly recommend!
I recently came in for an MRI, and while my overall experience was okay, I do feel the IV portion of my visit could have been handled with more care and attention to the patient. Katie and Nicole were involved with the… IV process, and there was a prolonged attempt to access my vein that lasted approximately 10 minutes, with quite a bit of manipulation before the IV was successfully placed. I understand that veins can sometimes be difficult to access and that some bruising can occur. However, afterward I was left with significant bruising around the IV area, as well as substantial bruising higher on my arm where the tourniquet had been placed. I have had many blood draws and IVs over the years and have never experienced this degree of bruising, particularly from a tourniquet. One of the main reasons I feel it is important to mention this is because I couldn’t help but think about how this experience might affect an elderly patient, someone who is ill, or someone who is particularly sensitive to pain or bruising. I was able to tolerate the discomfort, but even for me, the process felt excessive. A more vulnerable patient could potentially have a much more difficult experience. I have photographs documenting the bruising and would be happy to provide them if requested. I’m sharing this feedback because I believe more attention to the IV process, the amount of pressure being used, and the patient’s comfort during a difficult attempt would have made for a much better experience. I hope this is taken constructively and helps improve the experience for future patients. Photos from 5 days after the MRI.
this place sucks; you call; and; no one calls you back.
Shaquea M. Provided outstanding customer service which add to my overall well-being and treatment services. Drew, who performed my EKG, demonstrated a high level of professionalism throughout the process. He was kind,… respectful, and genuinely courteous. I truly appreciated the way he treated me and the professionalism he displayed.

I had my pre op labs and ekg and ct scan they were all great so nice and professional. Would definitely recommend
Very professional and kind made me feel really comfortable
Their MRI team is exceptional! Love Brandi and Nicole…friendly, professional and calming.
The staff were amazing. Took good care of my mom. Erin, Allan, Lori , the OR nurse and surgical technician did a fantastic job.
The check-in person was so friendly and kept us informed the whole time.
Megan and Jeanne. Pleasant and professional. They make the appointment routine easy and relaxed. Thanks Ladies!
Linda is the most compassionate tech! This is the second time she performed my mammogram. She will help you through the process with professionalism and care. My next mammogram I will try to make sure Linda is my tech ♥️
I had to go here straight from a doctor's appointment. From the emergency room to the patient floors, everyone was helpful, polite and very caring. Never did I feel like just a other body. I ended up staying for four… days. Every nurse that was assigned to my care was very caring and thorough. They made sure my phone was charged, food was ordered and would pop in just to ask if I was ok or if I needed anything.
I would avoid this hospital and travel further to a better one. The staff hides from you when you ask for help, they don’t provide the help and instead hang out on their phones showing each other videos. When asked… again for help I was told “welcome to mt holly virtua” and laughed at for trying. The staff also made fun of a patient after they checked into the ER. 4 hour ER wait to be left at the end of a hallway on a dirty bed with someone else’s fluids on it. Never even got to see a nurse after 5.5 hours. I was forced to leave due to no treatment so I could go somewhere else. The only pleasant experience I had was with the PA.
Had blood work done. I am very difficult to find a vein. I have been told by Lab Corp to reschedule because they could not find vein. I always have a pleasant on time experience at Virtua hospital in Mt Holly. J. Manta… took care of me today and took the time to be sure of vein location and hit it 1st time. I highly recommend your blood lab for anyone to get blood work done.
I went in for a contrast MRI , John and Dan were terrific! Registered transferred to the table comfortably scanned in the machine and out in no time at all! Pleasant from beginning to end and best part being a hard… stick for IV Dan got it perfect first try! Thanks guys!!
Better late than never. I would like to thank Mt. Holly's Surgical Services for taking great of me. I would like to give a special shout out to Anthony Esposito, Director of Nursing for checking in on me. Overall, a… great experience.
Jolanta was thorough, friendly, fast and efficient! I barely felt the pinch! One suggestion: the green chair I sat in had significant wear and tear; maybe repair or a replacement? Outside of that my experience was… pleasant.
Savanna B. and Trisha were especially helpful.
The X-ray registrar and care team did a wonderful job helping my mom. Willans, Sue, Cathe, Olivia, and Ray Paneonst were very friendly also helpful. Adele, Wendy, and Ray Rellep were very informative and friendly. The… ultra sound dept is very kind and caring. The mri dept Brandi, Steve, and LaLa did a wonderful job. They were so very sweet and caring. Everything is great!!!
Very kind, helpful staff. Brandi, Lala and Steve did a great job today of being welcoming and friendly.
Claudette and Lala were both wonderful at my MRI yesterday at the hospital! Kept me very relaxed’
My experience was nothing but pleasant thanks to your tam! Nicole,Claudette,Lala and Sue
My husband and I had blood tests on 8/26/26 with Jolanta and Pam B. Both ladies were pleasant and professional. They are skilled at drawing blood and we barely felt the stick. We highly recommend this site and will… definitely use them for future blood tests.
Great service Cathe took good care of me and Jeanne made sure they seen me without making an appointment. Wonderful people. My only complaint is parking is scare. Please improve on it. Thanks
Not even if my life depended on it. 5th floor needs training. But I guess some things can't be taught like empathy and compassion. Nursing and medicine is one of those fields you can't just be in it for a paycheck you… have to genuinely care about people the lack of care I received at this Hospital is mind-blowing. There have one of the laziest nurses on that floor. I asked repeatedly the status of my situation and she would tell me do I have my chart I'm in a very serious health situation I'm the patient why are you telling me about my chart. How hard is it to tell the patient what's going on with their situation. I'm laying up there and pain and sick and she kept telling me about my chart. whenever I ring the bell you they claim they are busy doing rounds or giving report what are you reporting because she doesn't do anything they wake you up all night taking blood but never give you the results of labs when you ask questions about your case it's always let me find out and they never come back to give you any real solid answers. I told her I had to use the bathroom that you needed to unhook me from the IV line she's standing here playing with her phone trying to search for Wi-Fi and playing with the IV machine a few minutes go by and I'm looking at her like man are you going to unhook me I have to use the bathroom oh oh one second like a deer Caught in the Headlights. I was told I was going home on a hospital from home program they later called me on my cell phone and said oh no you don't need us you're being discharged so I asked my nurse about it she disappears and never comes back hour later ask her again she says oh you're staying another day so when were they going to update me on anything I asked to speak to a doctor every time I'm told they're delivering babies so who's in charge of my care they send a intern in finally when I decided to leave Ama and he tells me they're waiting for infectious disease which I had been waiting for since the previous night where are they coming from out of state I also asked why my IV was not hooked back up when I came back from the bathroom did they discontinue my antibiotics she says no so I'm expecting her to hook me back up to the antibiotics that I'm supposed to be on every 4 hours that didn't happen asked again still never hooked me up to the antibiotics from 10 to 6pm. the Nigerian nurse Lara needs training. They had a problem getting the IV in me had to have two different people stick me I have never been a hard stick. At some point my IV cheap had become moist and the IV was starting to come out instead of changing the dressing she stated oh I'm not good at this took a big piece of plastic bandage and just put that on top of it the next day it was moist from all the hand washing and loose again Laura comes in and instead of changing this mess of a bandage on my IV she takes more plastic and medical tape and wraps it completely around my hand even on the palms. And I can't tell you the number of times they walk in the room changing shifts and ask me oh what are they saying my guess is as good as yours you tell me what they're saying cuz nobody's telling me anything not even my lab results I've never seen such laziness in my life. You ring the bell you better believe you're going to wait over an hour before you actually see someone come in that room it's sickening just so many things went wrong during my stay
Hats off to Debbie Cox, Outpatient Registration "A". Her gentle kindness and care while drawing my lab work blood (presurgery) deserves recognition. She truly is an asset in her department. Thank you Debbie, God bless… you and the wonderful staff at Virtua Mount Holly
My sister was in there for 3 hours and nobody attended to her or her needs she was in sooooo much pain they don’t have no compassion for BLACK WOMEN she could have bled out messing with this hospital yall suck
