Virtue Recovery Center – Killeen Detox and Rehab Services

What Virtue Recovery Center – Killeen offers, on record, is residential treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.

Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Virtue Recovery Center – Killeen Address, Location and Contact Information

Virtue Recovery Center – Killeen is located at 5200 S W S Young Drive in Killeen, Texas, 76542. Killeen sits in Bell County. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.

It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. If the first call does not reach anyone, try again at a different time of day rather than assuming the service is closed.

I discharged from this facility six days ago, and five minutes after leaving, I realized they did not give me my Synthroid medication, and medication I need to take daily to regulate my hypothyroid, They told me they… would overnight it to me and now seven days later not only have I not received it and nor has it been mailed, but they have not answered even one of the 50 phone calls I have made to every single phone number from the Colleen location to Corporate to HR. The only line that answers is Admissions, unsurprisingly because they want to get more people in and make money, but they don’t give a damn what happens after or what happens to people once they get that check. Find somewhere else this place is a shit show and I am not OK with this. My hair has literally started falling out because I have not been taking my medication and I have left multiple messages and nobody has returned my calls. It is the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s now in my attorney’s hands, because this is apparently medical negligence on their end

Ms. Naomi is JUST THE BEST. I wish I could just put her in my back pocket and take her home with me. She’s the woman I strive to be like, and the mother I wish I’d had as a child. Hands down the BEST experience I… could’ve ever asked for. This is my FIRST time in treatment, and I’ve felt NOTHING SHORT of cared for and GENUINELY loved by the people here. I couldn’t ask for more. Even Mr. James and his antics. There’s a special place in my heart for the people that run this place, and the wonderful peers I’m here with.

Virtue is an amazing place. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in through the doors. The staff is dedicated to helping and encouraging recovery. They will drop everything they are doing to make sure your needs are… being addressed. The group meetings are very knowledgeable and helpful in recovery. Not only is the stafff amazing but the food is exceptional, the cleanliness of the rooms are amazing. The BHT’s and my therapist have given me the tools and confidence to go out in to the real world and take my sobriety head on. It’s not going to be easy but Virtue definitely made it possible.

This place literally saved my life! Went downhill after my discharge from the army and lost myself, this place helped me find me again! Naomi, jahiara, Felix, and every single member of the staff are AMAZING!! I have… been to rehab before, and this place is tier 1! Never have I had so much support, love and kindness from clients and staff, they gently care about recovery and give you the tools needed after you leave! Amazing food, comfortable and clean rooms, service dog friendly, activities and outings are part of the schedule, and phones and laptops are allowed as well, which helped me a lot to build a new support system and helped me find my way into college and a job! Also an amazing veterans program! Steve and Tasha (the vet group leaders) are versed both in recovery, as well as military issues, and know how to connect and understand VERY well! Dr. Raj (the owner) is a combat veteran and is also a HUGE help to both vets and clients, he’s been a true blessing! If you are struggling with ANY type of addiction, I HIGHLY recommend this center! Thank you virtue for everything!!!

I can’t say enough things about this place. Choosing to go to rehab is hard enough, but this place makes it so smooth and easy to get through it. I don’t know what I would do without Ms Naomi and Jahaira and the rest of… the staff. They were the light in the dark and I feel so strong leaving and ready to take on a new sober life. Thank you Virtue!!

Virtue, and its staff have played a very significant role in my recovery. I am now 100+ days into my recovery from a nightmare i thought id never escape, and im still going strong. The staff at this location, including… my therapist, the nurses, PA, and Psychiatrists were genuine, showed true compassion, and were all very invested in my recovery! Huge thank you to all of the staff at virtue that supported me in my recovery! Update: Tomorrow I celebrate 8 months and at 45 years old, I’m in the best physical, mental, and spiritual condition of my life! My time at Virtue not only helped me get free from addiction, but healed so many broken parts, from childhood and adult trauma. I’ve literally become the best version of myself that I’ve ever been! Also, I love how Virtue still sends me weekly check-in texts along with encouraging words, months after i completed the program. I literally don’t let a day go by without thanking God for what he did in my life through Virtue!
