If WC Health treated you or someone close to you, your account would help the next family deciding.
I enjoyed seeing them while I did but have been attempting to get medical attendance records for over 2 months now to close my court case and they’ve completely given me the run around and have now stopped responding… altogether. Very unprofessional and frustrating, would not trust they are dependable.
I brought in a man homeless, living on the street, who has absolutely nothing. Here he received an adequate mental evaluation to get him on the correct medications by the end of day. The same day he went through the… process to receive transitional housing, again all in the same day. Here he also received a meal and the help he needed to obtain all of his legal Nevada identifications. This organization provides a great services for the homeless and people in transition. Their wraparound approach truly meets the needs of the individual person. The staff listens to people, no judgement, they are just here to help everyone. I can see it, I can even feel it. I have spent several hours here and have witnessed each and every person get the help they need with respect, with genuine care and concern, and even with a touch of love. The staff here is truly doing the best they can to help the people they serve and it makes a difference. Yes the programs and services here really help people get on their feet and transition out of homelessness.
Overall I have had a great experience with my Therapist and the in person staff. My one issue is with the logistic side of things and the call center for scheduling. I am a teacher and on my last work day. i had a work… emergency that I had to stay for. I called WC to inform them fully knowing this would be a "no show" due to their policy. We scheduled my next appointment for 4pm. At some point it was decided to move the appointment. They had tried to call me..while subsequently my phone has been having major issues with spam calls. So much so that my voicemail is full within two days. I did not know the appointment had been changed and only realized the day of when I checked a confirmation text. Yes you do recieve the texts which is great, however I had not agreed to the appointment change. I called immediately to try to resolve this and they refused to remove the no show. I begged almost crying on the phone..repeating there should not be an appointment because I never agreed to it. Lucky my services were not canceled as I absolutely love seeing Miranda my therapist. The next appointment went fine no isseus. After this my most recent appointment...I showed up on time and was told they had cancelled due to my therapist having to cover in another department. I was very upset that it was ok for them to simply change things and not try more than once to get ahold of me (when I have explained and asked for help on the communication side) When I got a no show I did not deserve I understand and respect policy (as proven by my accepting that first no show) But, it is not right to punish a patient who is genially trying to communicate and make their needs known. It is also not right to have such a policy that only goes one way..in my opinion if it were not for my therapist and the true help she has given me I would have given up by now
Worst case of no empathy for a Dr. Office
I have been seeing Kaiwen Jiang for psychiatry for the past 4 years. He has been nothing short but amazing. He really cares about my wellbeing and is very responsive and always makes time to see me. He is also very… honest and wants the best for his patients. Very grateful for all these years.
Im actually happy im going here, Mckenzie Wolfe is amazing & is getting me back to being me again.
They committed FRAUD in my medical file! Massive fraud and then refused to fix it. They falsified medical information to the point where they can be SUED. It's fraud! When I called them to get it fixed they refused. It… was so scary how bad they falsified too. This information was put into my SSI case too, even more SCARY because this was FRAUDulent and out of over 6000 pages of medical files the judge pulled this out and wrote it on a federal document! A judge should have caught that it shows nowhere in any medical files that I had this issue. Very scary indeed. They handled this very poorly and they will be held accountable. I plan on pursuing this with the state and moving forward to close their clinics down. What they did is unacceptable and they should not receive funding ever again. BIG mistake they made. I'll file against them soon. I will say Jacob Mearse was very Good and I am surprised that he allowed this. How he could allow these inaccuracies to be written in my files? I am very disappointed. I expect better. To blatantly lie about a disabled, DV survivor with severe disabilities is not only gross, but illegal fraud. To write what you people wrote in my file?! It's now in my SSI paperwork and the stalker has been lying and using it against me. Frightening indeed. You could have fixed it.
Dr. Jiang is AMAZING!! Would recommend to anyone. I thank the Lord for him daily.
WC health is amazing I love my psychiatrist and my therapist
Nothing but good things to say about everyone in this office. After years of trying every medication possible for my extremely debilitating depression and anxiety with none of them working Dr.Kaiwen was the first doctor… to not only really listen but also the first to recommend TMS as an option. They helped me ensure I could secure insurance for the treatment and TMS was not only the first effective treatment that has ever worked on me but the difference since is like a dream come true. THESE PEOPLE LEGITIMETLY CARE and it shows.
I've been seeing Dr. Kaiwen Jiang for about a year now and he's the most thorough, efficient and responsive psychiatrist I've had.
They don't care about their patients. They only care about money. Please, don't go to them so many better places out there that treat their patients like actual humans. I reported them to Medicaid they were so bad.… Literally, switches me from therapist to therapist with no stable care. Hopes clinic and renown are way better then them. wc health also known as WellCare it just revolving door for patients.
The customer support reps, the psychiatrists, and the therapists are all awesome and excellent.
I loved this place they offered service for every possible need a person has. This is where I went when I lived in Reno.
Dr. Kaiwen Jiang’s advice and care have been life changing for us. My son has autism and comorbidities. Dr. Jiang always gets back to us quickly and makes emergency appointments. He has taken his time with us and helped… us through many medication changes to find the right “cocktail” to help my son be his best self. We pray he can always be his doctor. He has helped our whole family and my son now can reach his potential. Thank you!!
Great place to go. They help with most my needs. Thank you
My psych doctor has left the company but I've had nothing but good experience with this place so I'm not to worried about it.
Christine Cay is a terrible nurse who wants you to think she is a doctor. She has denied me prescription refills for weeks claiming she needs to see me in person when I already visited her a month ago. She won't respond… to most of my VM's, only a generic response saying the prescriptions are filled when they are not. Very incompetent and I am planning to change my PCP asap because of this. We're talking important meds that she is neglecting to refill and would cause serious health issues if I don't get them. Again, I'm fed up with this lousy nurse. Christine is to avoid if you want a reliable practitioner. Keep in mind the clinic changed its name to First Person Care and that's where you'll find even more incompetence.
I appreciate the idea all the pictures provided. Suite # and pictures of the outside of the building. Thank you!
This place is wonderful. The staff is so nice to me every time I come here which im here like once l I’m goingkkikik
The psychiatrist was compatant and diagnosed me wrong without listening to me and what I was saying, also he didn't go for a full evaluation.
Never seems to have patient medications during specific med appointments. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
Took take of everything i needed Very quick too! ♡
Doctor kiawen Jiang is an awsome doctor, he has helped me get my life back on track which I'm am forever grateful, he has been very understanding and gone above and beyond with my care.
I was sent here after being hospitalized and all I can say is that they are wonderful people who are really looking out for their patients. I am in the CCM program and I love the periodic texts and reminders I get about… how I can take care of myself, about keeping certain things in mind when the environment changes and how my mental state may be affected, and also caring for my family and how my family can care for me. My psychiatrist Miah is super sweet and I honestly look forward to our sessions. Never had this type of care before and I’m am extremely grateful to everyone that works here!
I haven't been with wellcare in a couple years now, and I'm still getting texts from their automated system. Replying "Unsubscribe" does nothing. I feel the services I received here were subpar, my psychiatrist wouldn't… let me switch medication when I explained to them why I wanted it switched and my primary care doctor never got back to me with a referral, so I ended up going to renown instead. The housing side of things is atrocious. If you aren't making them money, they will send you to the homeless shelter. They absolutely refuse to work with you at any turn, and they have no idea how to work with the mental illnesses they claim to be experts at. If you're there for addiction counseling, it's much better than the mental assistance side. The only thing I can accurately recommend is the therapy and possibly pharmacy from WC health.
Been here twice, both times was awful. Start of my 1st session I was told I was hopeless because of my response of being okay with waiting. By the end she disregarded that my physician said she thinks I might have adhd… and the psych told me oh no honey you’re clinically depressed . She wanted to start me on the same medication I was on for three months and I had terrible side effects and I told her no to that medication . Did genetics testing and to find out on my second appointment that the results show my body doesn’t not react well with any antidepressants, problematic was the word. Mind you , at the beginning appointment I had to remind her about this genetic test I had taken from my previous appointment . Took about 30 minutes for them to find it. My therapist who sent me back to the psych office on a separate appointment to take the adhd test was lost as well. I was waiting in another office on this second appointment after being in her office for an hour of them trying to locate this test . The new adhd test only took me 5 minutes to complete and I sat in another office for an hour. She forgot about me and continued to bring someone else to her office , when I stood up from the room across her room she looked confused and asked the girl she was bringing back who she was . Girl responded I’m just trying to reschedule an appointment . We go to her office after this weird situation and Then she handed me a calculator because she said it would go quicker to figure out the percentage on my adhd test as she counted it up . I suck at math and haven’t done it in years. I handed the calculator back from being confused and my anxiety was through the roof from waiting and trying to figure out how my kids will be picked up from school. She was so flustered of not figuring it out and told me she had another client waiting and made me make another appointment for the following week to go over my results . I was there over 2 hours 1145-215 . She said I’m booked but I’ll find time to squeeze you in for 10 minutes to get this handled . Long drive, I have kids in school and 1 kiddo at home with me and I’m out of work so to drive across town for 10 minutes is a waste of gas and stressful . After this experience I will be contacting my dr to find a different route. Vicky my therapist hands down was a sweetheart and I felt genuinely listened to, she also suggested I might have adhd and she’s the one who sent me back upstairs to take this adhd test . She said I might have some form of depression/anxiety but felt the test was important to find out if I was in fact adhd . She said I didn’t come off to her as depressed and felt it was something else and the test will help narrow it down. She explained that more then one medication could help me if it was depression and adhd . Dr and therapist both think it’s possibly adhd and the psych who has caused my anxiety to go through the roof on both visits thinks I’m clinically depressed and hopeless from the start of our session. Second session we didn’t talk about anything but her trying to figure out the genetic testing when they finally found it after I had to remind her about it. Test first day should have been done because of what my dr stated and that was totally ignored . I will not be returning.
