The nurses and techs were great.

Absolutely amazing place, when I first started I was very nervous because I’ve never done group therapy before but after my first day, I couldn’t wait to go back. The staff are all amazing at what they do and they… always understand what type of treatment we need no matter how diverse the trauma is. I recommended Windmoor to a friend and she started going and she’s already improving and Windmoor changed my life. I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 before joining group and when I shared for the first time, not only were the therapists giving amazing input but even the other patients had the most amazing and helpful advice and input aswell. The other patients and I have all become friends and we all stay in touch with each other and do check ins on our group chats. Windmoor saved me and so many others . Ten out of ten I will always recommend Windmoor to some struggling with their mental health or addiction.
Peace I am an Active Duty military personnel and the service i review from this place has been amazing. I was apart of the 28 day program and the consistency of service and care did not dissapoint at all. The clean up… team and lunch staff even played a role in the care and support of the paitents. They were friendly and approchable with anything asked for. The therapist gave me another look on how to deal woth Mental Health, they were very knowledgeable. Sasha was my favorite Therapist and Mrs Jenn is my favorite Physch , she informed me entirely in the type of meds is best and allowed me to try diff ones that works best for me. The nurses and techs on the floor were nothing but awesome and reliable even if they day were a bit off, they still catered to our needs with no problem. My faviorte nurse is MS KRISTINA and Tech is Ms Jenna. They were so sweet ! Ms Edith in valueables was a doll lol she was more than willing to get the things i needed. The Nutritionist was amazing as well, she led group the best she can with the resources she have but the knowledge was soo good, she most defiently set us up for when we leave and while we was here, stocked our fridge with great healthy snacks. The Rec team done a great job keeping us entertained and involved from work outs with NO-NO, to strecthes with Dean, guitar songs with Music therapist, and creative works with Nurse Carlina. Finally the CEO hosted an town meeting where we voice our concerns and worries, he is approvals humble, carrying and supportive. He went out the way to ensure our needs were met or answered questions why things can't happen. He is very direct and doesn't sugarcoat. He personally came down to unit 11 to let me know that Singing bowls were ordered and will be in on Monday. I would highly recommend this place to anyone dealing with mental health or substance abuse. At first you may feel ashamed or embarrassed but after like 2-3 days you will be open to it and everyone just because the atmosphere of embrace and support from the peers. On the military units you are able to have your phone during certain times but i would recommend trying to stay off it until like the end of the day. This is a great place to heal that inner child to adult that was neglected or abused. I give so much thanks for all that i have encountered and i wish you all golden steps and wise mindsets. You ALL deserve a Raise ... PEACE -WISE
Everything was great thank you
They need a priest in that place. The showers are full of mold maybe use the funds you charge your patients to hire a contractor to replace the damage and get rid of the mold.
Front desk staff answered phone call with bad attitude. She needs more training 👎
I attended PHP and IOP at Windmoor over the past couple months, and I found it very helpful. I feel much more stable than I did when I admitted. The outpatient staff is compassionate and supportive. I felt safe with… every staff member there. They often will notice if someone is struggling and check in on them, which means a lot. Captain, the therapy dog, is one of Windmoor’s greatest assets, and I was so sad to discharge because it meant not seeing her every Wednesday anymore. She was on the unit my first day of PHP, and her presence helped me feel grounded and comfortable in a new place. My only complaint is that I was never told explicitly that my insurance had denied my extension request. I felt another week or two would have solidified the stability I found at Windmoor, and I was told extensions often are not approved by insurance. It’s unfortunate, but it is what it is. I just wish I had been told that my insurance declined to extend my treatment directly - like I was told I would be - instead of having to assume insurance said no when I was handed discharge paperwork. Overall, I highly recommend Windmoor, and if I ever need a higher level of care again, I’d gladly admit to Windmoor’s outpatient programs again. Thank you all for your empathy and kindness!
Windmoor is a safe place where individuals, like myself, have a platform to discuss common issues surrounding mental illness and addiction. During my treatment I felt understood by both, staff and other patients since we… all have similar issues. The staff provided me with outside resources for the specific needs I required post therapy. The therapist are respectful of boundaries and are educated, therefore helpful in understanding individual needs. This program provides the knowledge and tools required for success we just need help learning how to use them. Windmoor provides rides to and from therapy sessions,as well as, ten dollar lunch allowance. Good luck cm
A woman calls, "I am blah blah blah from the business office calling about 325. How would like to pay that today??? I'm thinking pay what?? Is 325 actually March of 2025?? Is the balance $325.00??? I asked her if people… drop what they are doing to pay her on the spot??? She said "not really". I said have an effective person call. I hung up. If you want REAL results, actually get money collected??? Hire me, I worked 100% commission jobs where I soared!!! I know how to talk to people, not escalate people and push them away I was curious. What did she mean??? So, i called back, no voicemail, nobody answers. So, just wanted to document more incompetence from Windmoor. My entire stay tv did not work people, to drink water you get a 2oz cup, I could go on. They just like all the other places. They just polish it up
Their weekend visiting area staff is very helpful and friendly. They appear organized with safe entry procedures. The facility is clean. Nurses and techs are kind.
I was in the inpatient for 3 days Amazing doctors and nurses When I was done with the Impatient, I ended up doing outpatient for a Month Don’t even get me started. I loved everyone that worked there. The teachers are… amazing. Just everyone that works there is amazing I wanted there for Alcohol and I came out like a new person thank you guys for the help❤️ I also met amazing people there too
The cafeteria staff is wonderful and nice. The techs and nurs s spend all their time on their cell phones. They put a woman with a severe TBI on the street and told her to find a shelter. They endangered her life.… Another patient called the police and a kind officer helped her. The staff run groups while on their cell phones. They do not care. The patients should be more important than some video on TikTok but they are not. You are alone at Windmoore, no matter there advertising states. You are alone there
I must admit that the staff here is absolutely incredible with the way they administer the care they give. This happens to be my second admission to WINMORE and I got be honest it's the best decision I made for my… recovery as well as dealing with PTSD issues. I am forever grateful an like before keep an open- mind an take in all the staff has too offer. The last thing I have to say is the kitchen staff a long with the meals they prepare is like eating in a fine dining restaurant for REAL😋,to have a well balanced diet daily is so vital for ones healing process and I greatly appreciate the kitchen staff with all my heart an soul.... Winmore I must say KEEP up the awesome work that I do......I know I am not alone an when a veteran like myself has a place they can get a new start that's GOD all day showing me "Good Orderly Direction" Thanks Winmore for saving this grateful veterans LIFE. Was in the 3rd floor detox from July 2nd through July 5th. CANDIS head nurse & all staff were A+. Provided awesome care. Angela was my outtake provider & also led an incredibly good Group session, she sees eye to eye… with each person & keeps it 100% real & down to earth. The food was incredibly good & they made sure to give lengthy cigarette breaks after each meal. From intake to departure this place is top notch. Thank you sincerely John C. Brickey.
I'm thank you for the time I got there till left everybody did their job well
I felt like the staff all of them helped me detox safely and played a part to help save my life. I was a mess, I fell they truly care and I'm greatful. Thanks!
The staff in inpatient really do care but unfortunately they’re so understaffed that it was hard to even get basic necessities like feminine products while in treatment. The Nurses and therapist and technicians were all… amazing and I wish I could rate them separately and give them five stars but the admin and doctors there really are only in this to charge insurance and make power moves against patients such as lie to them on purpose to see if it provokes any outbursts which in my opinion is morally wrong.
I am excited to take this moment to commend several staff members at windmoor Clearwater unit 34. this was my first time in a hospital institution and I was certainly skeptical upon admittance first day or two. I was in… this facility, May 26 to June 2 and what I saw there was inspiring. I have never been around a group of people that show such compassion, patience and consideration for others. Ms. Bogumila,Ms Shelley and Ms Aleskandra were absolutely wonderful. Mr. Corey Took time to counsel me individually on my medication when I was weary of how things were going. Dr. Felix has a very straightforward way of doing things which at first made me weary But his advice was sound and straight to the point after I was able to follow the plan given to me Along with Ms Valerie, who explained things with detail and care. Ms Mariam upon her first time meeting me delivered a short conversation to me that Ill remember forever with the sternness and sensitivity of a loving aunt. And Miss Sandy, who sat behind the computer And controlled the unit like The leader of a superhero team. I can’t speak for any other unit But what I saw in unit 34 for the dates mentioned above amazed me and they’ve helped me to be on a better path to deal with my PTSD and bipolar. Sincerely, thank you For not only helping me through this set of circumstances but for leaving an impression on me that helps me to believe in people again.
