Wounded Healer – Woodbury Heights Detox and Rehab Services
Wounded Healer – Woodbury Heights is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Wounded Healer – Woodbury Heights Reviews and Ratings
Wounded Healer in Woodbury Heights can be understood partly through its license and accreditation, and partly through what patients say. Read their reviews here, and leave one if you have been in treatment at the facility.
This place is criminally ran stay away. They don’t actually care about you they just want your insurance so they can bill them daily without actually helping or providing a service. The guy who does the intakes hides in… his office and won’t even come out he will send the secretary back and forth to exchange words while he’s sitting 5 feet away. Their reply is going to be irrelevant and unprofessional from what I’ve seen. Good luck buddy you need it more than the people you claim to help.
Love the group, the people in the great ate great and everybody gets along, and the concealer are awesome
Came here after dealing with addiction for over 15 years. I was nervous it would be an uncomfortable, overwhelming and perhaps even triggering environment… however, from the very first meeting I have felt more at home… than I have any where else in my life. Being able to express my struggles without anxiety, to a staff that in every way exhibits care, understanding, encouragement & transparency.. I have experienced clarity and growth in ways I never thought possible. I’m honestly not sure I will ever stop learning & growing in this wonderful environment. I am so thankful for My Friends House💯
I love it here the counselors are amazing and so are the people !
Great place very welcoming
Phenomenal facility
My Friends House saved my life. Specifically my counselor, Adam. He gave me a safe space to talk about anything I needed too. Never judged me, & always gave sound advice. This place is so great BECAUSE of him. My… friends house is lucky to have such a great counselor in my opinion. I wouldn't of stayed if it wasn't for him. So thank you Adam, for believing in me.
My friends house saved my life for the best I am very grateful. Things been great. I’ve achieved a lot more based off those individual therapy sessions And groups
Great Place, the people there really take care of you and have your best interest at heart. Great program to get back on a straight and narrow path, and come together and learn from others to show you what not to do or… where you could end up. The counselors are amazing and take their jobs seriously and will be nothing but upfront and honest with you as long as you are to them. Thank you friends, Bill Adam Rita Melony.
Adam was extremely kind during intake. Ed was very kind and understanding. This program saved my life and I’m grateful for the amazing services they provide.
BEWARE if you were forced to goto this place by the courts at all they accepte everyone who walks through the door i was told today I need treatment because I smoke cbd at night to help me sleep this place is clearly… committing INSURANCE FRAUD AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED No one over sees these places and they will accepte anyone who walks in simply for the profit of it would not recommend going there please save yourself the hassle and goto a reputable place not my friends house
Been in the building for five minutes. No one available. Called the office before leaving home and while in office. No answer or response. Not sure if anyone is here in the whole building
I enrolled in treatment the first week of March, and it has given me my life back. The counselors are amazing, Adam is extremely helpful and really makes a huge difference in my recovery. Rob runs My Friends House and… genuinely cares about all of the patients here. Mel, Joe, & Melissa run groups and you learn many things about yourself, in addition to skills, ideas, perspectives, and tools to apply to everyday life, ensuring sobriety. MFH offers endless resources to achieve your goals and not only get your life back, but start to build the life you see for yourself. This is the first time that I became sober and it actually stuck, and I accredit that to My Friends House (in addition to the work I do to maintain sobriety). If you want to get clean, stay clean, and you do not know where to start, or you do not have many resources- start here, it will change your life. Some places are dingy, small, and the vibes are off- putting, but this place is actually welcoming, which makes it so much easier to go to. Come in, no judgements, get your certificate, and get your life back.
The best place ever. So kind caring and compassionate. Thank you My Friends House….
This place doesn't treat people coming from the IDRC like humans. They don't care about your situation, what's going on in your life, whether or not you have kids, whether or not you have a disorder or an addiction, or… if you have health problems. They believe they are above the court of law. Before I was assessed the "woman" who did the assessment was openly telling all of the other people in the office that "I don't want to work today, I don't think I should work today, I don't feel like doing anything" Loud and proud. You can't expect someone like that to properly assess you. Zero passion for people and the job she has. I called to get the information about the uber ride that they offer to get to class and the lady on the phone said "call back at 530 for the ride." And hung up on me. Didn't give me any information at all. This place needs new management and couselors that actually want to do the profession they signed up for. People's lives, futures and well beings are in these people's hands and they treat it like a joke.
As a client of Rita Culp's for the past year and a half I can state unequivocally that her kindness, compassion & professionalism have helped me immeasurably. Rita and her staff at My Friend's House were paramount in my… recovery during a particularly difficult and trying point in my life. I've continued to see Rita post recovery, and I always appreciate her easy-going & conversational approach to therapy.I appreciate her honesty and candor, and I enjoy our friendly debates as well. I'm beyond grateful.
Best Outpatient by far. I love love the staff and counselors. I’ve been to Sodat, I’ve been to Solstice, I’ve been to Maryville, and I’ve been to Unity Place and none of these places comes close to My Friend’s House.… I’ll tell you that.
