Drug and Alcohol Rehabs in Bonsall, CA

Bonsall is unincorporated San Diego County, spread thin along the San Luis Rey River valley between Fallbrook and Vista. Avocado groves on the slopes, horse ranches off Camino Del Rey, and no city hall of its own.

It was called Mount Fairview when it was settled in 1871, then renamed Osgood in 1881 after a railroad engineer the town hoped to flatter.

The railroad went elsewhere. The name that stuck belonged to Reverend James Bonsall. What made the place was a natural ford across the river — a wagon bridge went up in 1906 and washed out in 1916, and its replacement washed out in 1927.
