Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Drug and Alcohol Rehabs in Downtown Greensboro, Greensboro, NC

Downtown Greensboro holds the Woolworth building where four students from North Carolina A&T sat down at the whites-only lunch counter on 1 February 1960 and refused to leave.

The sit-in spread to fifty-five cities within two months and forced Woolworth to desegregate its counters across the South. The store is now the International Civil Rights Center and Museum.

The city was built on textiles — Cone Mills ran the largest denim operation in the world from here — and the industry’s collapse through the 1990s took the economic base with it.
