Military Family MAT and Medication Assisted Treatment

Prescribed medication changes the odds in opioid use disorder. Buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone reduce cravings and cut overdose risk, and they work best paired with counseling. Providers listed here offer medication assisted treatment and also accept military spouses, children and dependents, not service members only.

Not every provider carries every medication. Opioid treatment programs dispense methadone on site under federal certification; office-based prescribers write buprenorphine you collect at a pharmacy.
