Scottsdale Providence Reviews and Ratings
Patients and loved ones with experience of Scottsdale Providence are invited to leave a review here. Say what the program was like day to day, how staff treated you and how leaving treatment was planned.
I was blown away by my experience at this treatment center. Staff was so nice and helpful and they show constantly that they genuinely care for you. I was given a hardship scholarship and was able to attend at no cost -… just one example of the many things the company is willing to do. They genuinely care about your recovery and just want to see you get better, and foster a positive community and environment for all the patients. Special shoutout to my therapist, Keren, case manager, Tyler W, BHTs Gabby and Stevie. Easily recommend for anyone just wanting to get better.
This is the best treatment center in Arizona. It was founded by the two smartest recovery people I know, Dan and Shawn, and they started the business because they want to help people. I arrived there a little over two… years ago completely broken as a father, son, husband, and brother. Everything in my life was a mess because of a drug problem I had struggled with my entire adult life. My life changed in that building, and sobriety is the best thing that ever happened to me. I love Scottsdale Providence and the people who work there!!!
This was my 3rd residential experience, 2nd PHP, and 4th IOP. I wish this was my first, I’d likely have found the healing and comfort I was looking for years ago. I would absolutely recommend going through the… Providence program to anyone who is looking for a change in the way they view themselves, the world, or the substances they can’t seem to get away from. The staff are genuinely great people - they’re funny, relatable, kind, they care, and they’re just real. The therapists are all very different from one another which helps make the entire experience really feel like it’s for me. They all have different personalities and communication styles, but the exact same high level of knowledge, experience, and professionalism. I’ve met a lot of truly incredible human beings who were also patients who I see are also in what looks like lasting and meaningful recovery (this is coming from someone who’s been to countless treatment centers and has seen people fall off as soon as they leave.) TLDR: just do it. If you’re reading this review, you’re probably suffering like h***. What else could you possibly lose by giving this a try?
From Residential to IOP, the experience was impressive. I spent about 100 days with Scottsdale Providence and was dealing with a lot of legal issues, FMLA and disability needs. Knowledgeable, qualified staff with… continuous training helped me every step of the way. I was educated in mental health and my addiction and provided every tool necessary to continue a fulfilling, sober life. The connections Scottsdale Providence provides to ensure every part of the client is served was amazing. From seeing a medical doctor, a psych nurse, yoga studio, resources for continuum of care once treatment has concluded all assisted me in my recovery. I couldn't be more grateful to the organization and staff. They literally saved my life!
I attended this rehab in October 2025. The BHTs were outstanding. The food is ordered from Costco and cooked by the patients. Gorgeous house for residential. The therapists Andrew and Alisa were awful. I didn’t even get… therapy once a week and when I did all they did was say I wasn’t trying hard enough and was going to fail. Well they were wrong I’m 9 months clean today no thanks to them. They also made me write out my life story and then didn’t have time for me to read it. They will try and force you into their PHP housing. I went to another facility for PHP due to their negativity. Their number one goal is not to help the person but to make more money.
I’m incredibly grateful for the care I received here and would recommend to anyone ready to start their recovery journey. It was life changing for me.
This place is a very special and professional place to be at if your really needing help and wanting to stay sober! the staff here is very kind and professional I will recommend this to anyone I know that is looking to… for a residential treatment center...Love you guys.
saved my life and will be forever grateful for the program, staff and community I have found during my time here. I would recommend to anyone
I loved this center and everything it has to offer. The staff is amazing, and have brought the care and the support that i was searching for, and i know they’d do the same for people who are looking for that right now.… It’s a place that is serious to committing themselves to helping people, and im not just saying that. 10/10!
Top notch, great service organization!
I sent a loved one there and when they couldn’t do what they promised they gave up. The therapist actually told us there is nothing they could do. The point is is this place will tell you what you want to hear to get… them in and make the $. Yes if you want luxury living this is the treatment for you. If you’re looking for help, and they can’t give it…. They will get rid of you. They want you to believe it’s a big friendly place that wants to help. Do some more research before choosing Providence. We don’t want you to experience what we did. Research Research.
It works if you work it. Through rough patches and smooth ones I am leaving a happier and better person.
This place is amazing!!! Definitely recommend SPRC to anyone struggling with substance abuse or mental health
The staff at SPRC are absolutely stellar, they do an incredible job here of getting you the treatment you need and working with you on your own program.
Horrible experience. Only care about cash. They will put cash paying clients above those who actually want to get better. If I could give them negative stars I would.
Highly recommend this treatment center! Staff were amazing and supportive whenever I needed and treatment plan went accordingly. Couldn’t ask for a better recovery center
I would highly recommend this program to anyone who truly wants to see real change and have real support. I have nothing but positive things to say about SPRC. As a therapist myself, I can confidently say this is the… best treatment center I have ever encountered or experienced. If you’re ready to do the work and have a team of support, come to SPRC.
SPRC was a wonderful experience. I did not have high hopes or expectations when I started but their staff was so welcoming and engaging it made the entire process worthwhile. I am very happy that I made the decision to… enter their program and feel they have provided the tools for success. They are very encouraging and engaging.
I absolutely love this place they saved my life. Great bhts amazing php with caring and kind clinitions that work with you every step of the way on your road to becoming a healthy and functional member of society.
SPRC was an amazing experience. The staff treated us with respect while also not cutting corners in treatment. I cannot recommend SPRC highly enough!!!
The level of care I received was unmatched. I could not have asked for better staffing or standards and they saved me from both my addiction and myself. In a way, they saved my life and I will forever be appreciative.
This place saved my cousins life! So grateful 🙏🙏🙏
This place has helped save my life and turn things around for the better. Thank You, SPRC.
Great program for my son. They helped him and the entire family.
This was my third experience at SPRC, my first being in 2022 and my second in 2023. Though it's a top-notch treatment center, easy to see from the million-dollar residential homes, there is still a lot lacking and it's… easy to be overlooked with the constant flow and overbooking of clients. I was brought into the residential program but forced to step back down to outpatient after 2 weeks because they had an audit coming up and too many people were in the house. So my intensive treatment was cut short and when I was still struggling to get out of bed some days I was told it was my fault that I wasn't well enough to make it every day on time. Even though in residential I was on time every day without issue because I was held accountable. I was not given the treatment level that I needed because they are constantly overbooked with clients. This also means that they barely have room for everyone during group, with people having to sit on the floor or steal other people's seats when they step out because they can't spend the money to open another facility. On Fridays, you can forget about saving a seat because everyone is forced into one group room to listen to other clients' life stories and "rock outs," which take up nearly the entire day. This means 5 to 6 people minimum sitting on the floor for 4 hours of the day. I would not expect this from a top-tier facility. That being said, all of the staff are caring, and they offer several modalities of trauma therapy, along with Occupational Therapy. If it weren't for the way my treatment journey was mishandled, I would have given this a better review. I will edit this to say thank you to Alex, Dan and Freddy who have always been so kind to me and made my experience worthwhile. Yall are amazing.
Predatory. DC'd through zero fault of my own. I wonder if it was just because of the aggressive and intimidating clients who happened to be there at the same time. I paid $20,000 out of pocket for 20 days of nothing.… Can I have my money back, please? Edit in response to the business's response: I originally paid $30,000, and this amount was kept for months prior to "allowing" me a $10,000 refund for days not utilized. Again, I was DC'd through no fault of my own. I adhered to all program requirements and participated fully in all aspects of the program. I was never offered referrals to the SPRC IOP or sober living facilities; rather, after asking multiple times and waiting far too long for a partial refund, I was pointed in the direction of sober living facilities I would never choose to inhabit. Additionally, I do not appreciate the condescending nature of the owner's response. I'm not sure what this person is referring to when he states that he's not sure what I am doing; I removed my previous review and replaced it with this one that accurately reflects the biggest issues. Perhaps it is because I plan to file an extensive report with the AZBBHE. However, I have a feeling this business's response is personal for some reason, just like it was when I was DC'd in favor of keeping felons and people who were intimidating me onsite.
I really enjoyed the oppertunitie to engageyself into this setting as a door for me to move forward in my recovery and also the oppertunitie to give back and to help other move forward in there recovery
