Alliant Health Plans is a not-for-profit, provider-sponsored health insurer based in Dalton, Georgia, founded in 1997 by two Georgia hospitals and a physician group. It sells SoloCare individual and family plans plus SimpleCare and 4Corners employer coverage across Georgia and southeast Tennessee.

What you pay depends on the metal tier and plan design you hold.

Yes, acute alcohol and drug detoxification is named in the 2026 SoloCare HMO certificate under inpatient mental health and substance use treatment. Cost sharing follows the inpatient row of your plan: 20% coinsurance on SoloCare Platinum HMO $1000, or a $400 per-day copay on SoloCare Gold PPO $1000.

Does Alliant Cover Rehab?

Yes. Coverage includes medically supervised withdrawal, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care, alongside medication for opioid use disorder, as federal parity law requires of marketplace and most employer plans.

Alliant is a small not-for-profit rooted in northwest Georgia. A smaller plan means a tighter network, which is the first thing to establish before approaching any facility.

Check the Network First

Regional plans contract a fraction of the facilities that advertise in a state, and most of the marketing you encounter is aimed at people with national PPO coverage. Start from the plan’s own directory. If it contains nothing suitable within reasonable reach, ask about a network gap exception authorizing out-of-network care at in-network cost sharing, which is granted more often than members realize.

Georgia Without Full Expansion

Georgia did not expand Medicaid in the ordinary way. It runs Pathways to Coverage instead, a limited expansion requiring qualifying activity both to enroll and to stay enrolled, and enrollment has run far below what a conventional expansion would have covered.
