I would never be the woman I am without their essential, kind, & nurturing help! Thank you Twin Lakes Recovery! 👍👍 I couldn’t recommend them more
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Twin Lakes Recovery Center truly changed my life. I attended the program in 2020, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without the incredible staff and support I received there. Going into… recovery is one of the scariest things a person can do, but Twin Lakes made me feel seen, supported, and cared for from the very beginning. They gave me hope when I couldn’t find it myself and helped lay the foundation for the life I have today. Recovery isn’t easy, but having the right people beside you makes all the difference. If you or someone you love is struggling, I can’t recommend Twin Lakes Recovery Center enough. They didn’t just help me get sober—they helped me believe that a better life was possible. I’ll always be grateful for the role they played in my journey.
By far the best detox center, i would recommend it to others! The staff are genuinely caring and they do there best to make your stay comfortable!
Coming to Twin Lakes was one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, respected, and supported. The staff is caring, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping people—not just… going through the motions. They take the time to listen, guide, and give you real tools you can use in everyday life. Recovery isn’t easy, but having a place like Twin Lakes made it feel possible. This experience helped me understand myself better and gave me a foundation to move forward. I’m truly grateful for everything I gained while being there. If you’re struggling and serious about getting help, I highly recommend Twin Lakes. — Greg R.

The staff was terrific all of them… care and be there for you from the tech to the ceo I want thk to Henry solace ally Emily kelly n all the staff Mrs James park I will come back there visit n try get job there after I stay sober for 1 year
Twin lakes was a wonderful experience I enjoyed my time their. The staff was Amazing client friendly still clean to this day. If your looking for a rehab that cares this is the one.
My time at Twin Lakes was great. I can tell the staff cared for me and cared about the mission. However, trying to get my medical records has been a complete mess. I can't get a call back from the front office. They… sent me blank copy of records, that had no notes or assessments from my time there. When I point out that my records were totally blank I was told it would "be looked into" and have sent 3 emails since with absolutely no response. Seems that the business does not actually care for you after you leave Twin Lakes, and I guess they don't have very great organization over their records or the requesting records process all together.
This place holds such a special place in my heart. I went here as a client and just celebrated 5 years sober. I will forever be grateful for Twin Lakes!
I referred a peer to Brock and he handled everything. He made sure all the boxes were checked and really showed care for the situation and the individual. The peer called me afterwards and was extremely grateful and… said she loved it there!
A solid substance use treatment program in Georgia for those seeking long lasting recovery! I work in the recovery field and am grateful to have Twin Lakes as an additional resource and partner for clients who are… seeking quality options with staff who care for them.
My experience at Twin Lakes was amazing Without Twin Lakes and Brock I don’t know where I would be today. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing.
Twin Lakes in Monroe, GA is an incredible treatment center. The staff truly cares about every person who walks through their doors, and it shows in the level of support and compassion they provide. The environment is… welcoming, professional, and focused on real, lasting recovery. You can tell they’re passionate about helping people heal and build a better future. If you or a loved one is looking for a place that combines quality care with genuine heart, I highly recommend Twin Lakes.
I stayed for 2-30 day periods and received the best recovery treatment I can imagine. Every employee treated me like a friend and were very helpful to everyone in need! Food was always good and plenty. Games were fun… and I would recommend it to anyone In any kind of addiction situation.
Great program all around. I've been too multiple rehabs battling alcohol. I learned more about my disease in 1 week at twin lakes than every other place combined. The therapist are great, the techs were nice and very… helpful, parke and Athena are amazing people, miles and tony too. this place doesn't forget you when you leave. They will give you all the tools you need to begin recovery no doubt. Food is good and we always had fresh fruit and snacks. The most beautiful property to begin a new lifestyle. Remember it only works if you work it. I highly recommend starting your journey at twin lakes.
Twin Lakes is the BEST recovery/detox center for whom is seeking real treatment. The staff respect you so much to the point you feel like you living at a resort. Amazing place, great staff, great food, and groups are… always fun.
I don’t usually write reviews, but Twin Lakes Recovery Center truly changed my life, and I feel like it deserves to be said. As a recovering alcoholic and proud alumni, I can honestly say this place gave me more than… just sobriety—it gave me hope, structure, and a second chance at living a life I never thought was possible. From the moment I walked in, I was met with compassion, not judgment. The staff genuinely care, and you can feel that in everything they do. The program challenged me in all the right ways. It wasn’t always easy, but growth rarely is. The counselors, medical team, and support staff walked beside me every step of the way, helping me face things I had been running from for years. They didn’t just treat my addiction—they helped me rebuild myself. What really stood out was the sense of community. I met people who understood me in a way no one else could, and those connections became a huge part of my healing. Even after leaving, that support doesn’t just disappear—you carry it with you. Today, I’m 357 days sober, I’m stronger, and I’m actually excited about my future. That’s something I never thought I’d be able to say. If you or someone you love is struggling, please know there is a way out—and places like Twin Lakes make it possible. Forever grateful Ashley
I had a great experience at twin lakes. The staff is amazing and the groups are very informative.
I am a United States veteran who has had drug and alcohol addiction since I was in my teens. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in the USAF. I was 24 while I was diagnosed and had been sent to many mental health… hospitals at the VA. I have never been at a real treatment facility before I arrived at Twin Lakes Recovery Center a little more than a year ago after my 40th birthday. I have never felt more welcome as I went through those doors. I received the best care through their veterans program. It helped me deal with my mental health and ptsd disorder. I went to classes and meetings all day everyday for 45 days and finally learned more about addiction and my mental health disorders than I have in my entire life. This place helped me find GOD!!! I have 13 months sober, go to church a few times a week, go to celebrate Recovery, finished my bankruptcy with my wife, and now we are going to be homeowners in April. I believe God brought me to Twin Lakes Recovery Center to find Him. Also it is very difficult to get to go here as a veteran because there are so many obstacles. I talked to th intake coordinator of the domicillary in Atlanta and told her I really needed treatment outside of the VA and eventually I got in Twin Lakes Recovery Center. I am so blessed and so grateful because a lot of people are out there sick and dying and I am so blessed to go to this treatment center. Remember if you are struggling, you are not alone. Give them a call and go in with an open mind!!!
The staff was amazing. The stay was great. And the people you meet are very interesting. Home away from home!!
If I had to sum up my experience at twin lakes I would say MAGICAL. Along with that I made many connections with wonderful people. Both staff and clients.
Twin lakes is the best place I've been for recovery their people are knowledgeable and kind they have your best interest in mind and teach you why your addiction is so strong and why so hard to overcome it's a beautiful… place with beautiful people I wouldn't go anywhere else if I ever had to go back but praise God I'm on the right path now thanks to twin lakes
Twin lakes has great staff and resources for recovery.
My recovery from alcoholism began with a fantastic 30 days at Twin Lakes in 2023. I learned so much in those early days of recovery that have enabled me to continue living successfully in sobriety 2-1/2 years later.… Added to those 30 days was also another 3 months of evenings with the Twin Lakes IOP program in Gainesville. All of these wonderful experiences were possible due to the fantastic staff and counselors helping me in this journey! And I cannot stress enough the importance of the continued outreach and commitment of the aftercare ‘alumni’ program! Twin Lakes is there for continued success in recovery long after the immediate inpatient care!
Great place to start a new beginning at life! If you’re serious about recovery and ready to make the step in the right direction to fixing your life I highly recommend Twin Lakes. A lot of the staff are in recovery… which is a huge plus in being able to relate to most if not all of what someone is currently going through. If you’re ready to change your life go ahead call them. You won’t regret it!
No pink cloud review from this guy. Just hit 781 days sober but the rehab industry is like the car industry. Staff always moving to greener pastures. I am still sober even though I was tried to be strong armed into… staying although I paid cash for as many days as I could afford. 28 years as an drunk/addict and was at rock bottom so it was kinda get in where I could. I completed my treatment at another facility (may have done a review) and on to intensive outpatient program for 9 weeks thereafter. This is one of those facilities that seems to cater to the frequent flyer. Great property though. With a few adjustments and taking care of the good staff, would be an absolute perfect place for a rehab. But gimme a shout if you want me to come talk to group next time I’m in GA.
I really hope this place has changed. I was there a couple of years ago and my experience was horrible. We were barely getting fed enough to get us by. I had saved up some of my snacks and ramen noodles for the days… when they gave us stuff I wouldn’t eat, and they did a room check and took all of the stuff I saved up. They said I stole it. Which makes no sense since they kept it locked up. We also only had tap water, milk, and Walmart brand cool aid to drink. People literally had to fight over the leftover food because everyone was starving. Paying that much for rehabilitation and having to worry about being hungry is insane. We also had to serve the food and clean the facility ourselves. Some of the techs had only been clean for 8+ months themselves and were allowed to host meetings. The biggest problems were honestly the lack of professionalism and the lack of food supplied to patients. People in rehabilitation facilities should never have to fight over food because they’re hungry.
I arrived at Twin Lakes December 12th, sad that I had to be there during the holidays. I knew I needed to be there, because I was so lost and had just given up on life. The staff and techs were extremely helpful and… kind. The food is catered in by Matt and he would do his best to provide special requests, like sriracha just for me…thanks Matt! The classes were very educational, along with the AA meetings brought in from outside groups and Athena’s Alumni meetings is another great addition that you can continue after you leave treatment via zoom. I meet with Evi, the clinical director for ART session for my past trauma, which was amazing….Evi is so sweet and wonderfully talented. She really took the one on one time with me to go over my life story. Tony and Miles made Christmas special by coming as Santa and Mrs Clause bearing gifts for all the patients and a day packed full of games, prizes and karaoke. That was so thoughtful! I was thinking I was going to be sad during the holidays….not at Twin Lakes!! I didn’t make it for the New Year’s countdown but I did get some delicious snacks and a mojito mock tail brought in by Evi. I highly recommend this place for your recovery!
Cece because I can't spell her name anyways called about coming to the facility and we did intake over the phone very sweet and caring
Overall a great experience
