I love Alliance because the counselors and staff are very nice, easy-going people who truly take the time to listen and help you. The doctors may not always give you what you want, but they will give you what you need,… and that says a lot about how much they care about their patients. The new counselor Jordan is absolutely amazing — caring, kind, thoughtful, and someone who genuinely makes you feel heard and supported. It’s hard to find people who truly care these days, and Alliance has been a blessing.

I called in to ask some questions and the doctor and front desk woman was very very rude for some reason wow I would never recommend this place for anyone who needs some real help. I have never been talked to that way… especially when I say im going through something.

The Conyers location of Alliance Recovery Center has been, and continues to be a life saving resource for me. Not only does Alliance have medication for Recovery, but also offers counseling. The counseling that I have… participated in at Alliance has helped me immensely on my journey of getting clean. If you are considering a life without using, without withdrawal, give Alliance Recovery Center in Conyers a try. This place literally saved my life.

I was a patient here for a year because I had two surgeries and developed a pill problem. I had one slip up from taking tramadol for pain, and I agreed to come in every day to lose my take homes. I was taking 60 mgs and… experiencing severe edema. I also had a thyroid disorder and was overeating. So, I was reduced to 15 mgs with a taper and everything went back to normal. I was amazed and loved my dose. I felt clear-headed and healthy while taking this low dose kept my cravings away. I communicated this to my counselor, Simone, with the intention of remaining on 15mgs. I was told that since Dr. Wills documented my issues, I would receive a no. Meanwhile, I heard patients telling me stories about taking all their doses at once and messing up, and doing way worse than I have. I am dumbfounded and completely disgusted of how I was treated. Dr. Wills is arrogant and told me in all of his years of practice he’s never heard of my issues when there are literal case studies of what I’ve experienced. I asked if you were saying that these documented case studies are lies, and he said yes. He also said he highly doubts that these issues will change when my dose goes down. but they did. What a joke. Also, one time my previous counselors failed to put my information in the system and I didn't receive the alert that the clinic was closed due to severe weather. I was turned away that day for their mistake and didn’t even report them. She then called me to apologize, but she still told me it was too bad, so sad. They also failed to tell me I could go to the emergency room to dose, so I spent my whole day at the hospital. Addiction isn’t a straight line and Dr. Wills focuses on the past instead of the present. If you are looking for a successful recovery, I would steer clear of this clinic. I walked out today after being denied to remain on my current dose and now I will have to go cold turkey. I also have autism and this sensory overload is going to be horrible for me. —— Update: I relapsed today. Thank you Alliance.

I been going here since around 2010 and they have been great, I never dealt with any rudeness from anyone. I have an amazing consular that cares and helps those who let her help because recover is something that you… have to want. If you put your all into it, you will get all they have to offer.

This treatment facility is the reason I’m not sitting in a hole in the ground surrounded by a coffin. Chrissy, Dr. Wills, Miss Dorothy, and the sweet nurses in the Window (I think one is named Brittany?) always give me… something to look forward to when I come here. I started at the Athens clinic, and had a horrific experience with my counselor, to the point I was crying to the mental health advocate in my 2nd visit, when I had just met her. As a grown man, I don’t cry for much,, but it hurts so much constantly being doubted and treated like a liability. The staff here at Alliance Conyers though adopt a completely different attitude despite being under the same brand and doctor. I think it would be a good idea to have some of the Conyers staff do training for the other clinics because they’re some of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met. French if there’s something I have going on and I really need to talk to a counselor about it and mine is unavailable any of the counselors that are available at the clinic will take time out of their day just to be able to speak with you about what you’re going through. The offer comprehensive group therapy and in certain cases help out the less fortunate by offering subsidized treatment. The holistic portfolio of services offered at Alliance Conyers is game-changing. It’s the reason I’ve been “sober” for a year+. Methadone may not be total sobriety but it’s a step in reaching a baseline. They educate you on everything and have periodic check ins with the doctor to make sure you’re in the right dose and to talk about tapering down because no one wants to have opioids in their body forever… Something he said spoke to me. He told me that it was good that I’ve tried to stay low on my dose because I’m very young and he wants to plan for me to wean soon so that I don’t have to take this medicine for the rest of my life. They not only offer you MAT, but they offer support during tough times, and help you learn the skills you will need in for be successful in the future of recovery. They also have yearly recovery month parties, just showing how Alliange once again takes it a step further than the rest. Alliance, I love you!

This place is truly not all about the money... like any place you have to pay for the services... but since I've been there they have made so many improvements that they could of just kept the money for as pure profit… but instead put the money back into improving their treatment there... so don't let people that are mad because they didn't get their way keep you from trying this place out... they take straight Medicaid and wellcare and they offer financial assistance... some people don't realize how good they got it cause they haven't been anywhere else...
