Trying my hardest to get help here I have an email confirming my appointment at 2:30 they try to say it's at 2 and now I have to wait to 4:30 to talk to anyone all they want to do is send you from one location to… another I don't have the gas money for this how is this helping me if it's going to make me homeless and they don't care why apply to be in mental health if you don't care about people truly sad to see the state of people that are supposed to be helping the people begging for it
Edited to add: I must've struck a nerve when I told the "supervisor" that he is clearly only there to collect a paycheck. He wouldn't give me his name or his supervisors name or contact info for the complaint I'm still… going to file. Cool your jets you short prince. He sure is a tough lil guy from behind a counter shouting as we walked out 🤏🏼🤏🏼🤏🏼 His screaming echoed through the halls of the advantage location as loudly as his ignorance and incompetence. Please seek help any other way than through Advantage Monroe. This office doesn't care anything about behavioral healthcare. They will NOT help you find any viable resources. My loved one has been stuck for months in this system with no answers, but tons of follow up calls where his questions are ignored. They claim they'll help you, but nothing has actually come to fruition. They won't let him speak to an ACTUAL Doctor even though we've requested multiple times to do so. Behavioral health isn't ignoring your clients needs!!!
They can’t even give a time frame of when they can get you in, they claim they can’t even see a schedule so if you’re looking to get into counseling be prepared to wait and not know how long your wait will be
I took my 15 year old in to get counseling at Advantage because we were really having a hard time finding her somebody she could connect with and we finally found the girl she liked and would talk to, and it's only… temporary I think it was maybe 6 or 8 weeks so that really doesn't do any good! They really need to fix that part because it's hard to find someone to talk to so there's really no point in getting to know anybody here because you can't continue to see them
This place is a complete joke…. I missed one appointment and now they are refusing to see me as a patient anymore
Horrible for people truly suffering with depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar, etc. For 3 months, my son never saw a doctor & couldn’t get an “emergency” appointment scheduled without having to wait another 4-6 weeks… even though I told the staff that he was truly struggling & feeling hopeless. In September, he signed the HIPA paperwork for me to be a part of his treatment plan & gave permission for the staff to talk with me but they wouldn’t & when I asked to talk with the counselor/doctor on 11/14/22 I was told NO! so without listening to a concerned parent they never knew what was truly happening on a daily basis #struggleisreal The mental/behavioral health care system in America is broken & it’s heart-wrenching watching someone struggle & unable to get trained professionals to take peoples “cries for help” seriously!!!
I've been taking my Daughter here since 2017. I've been very satisfied with her treatment. We've Never missed an appointment and I'm sure that makes a big difference.
I have been going to the Monroe, Ga. location for over 20 years. I have had good experiences in most everything. I don't do good with counseling. The nurse Janice, is wonderful. She goes above and beyond to help any way… she can. She is trying to retire I'm sure gonna miss her. Maureen is another great np. I recommend this place.
They straight up lied. I called recently about insurances and if they accept blue cross blue shield, they said they didn’t. I then looked into the website and it says it does. Extremely unprofessional.
Probably one of the WORST places to get help. If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. The therapist I had, Susan, fell asleep on me during our last session. Was 20 mins late getting me. Also cut the appointment 15 mins… early. The manager that was spoken to the day it happened, seemed to not believe me? You have to call 3 or 4 times to actually have your appointment canceled. Sometimes they STILL call you asking why you missed an appointment. The psych I saw, was not very personable at all. He didn’t seem to be interested in anything I had to say or care to listen. I’ve been trying to get my anti depressants for two weeks now. They never were called in at my last appointment. I’ve left countless messages asking for a call back. Nothing. If you want quality care, don’t come here.
Friendly,kind,perfesional

Awesome staff
I would rate it zero stars or less if possible. Couldn't be a worse place to get help. Only good thing about the place is that it's free. They honestly don't care.
Nice place. They've always had good & friendly staff at the front desks and good counselors. They now have extended hours until 6pm on week days. They also have convienient appointment remindersthat will text or call… your phone before apps to remind you days before. Very helpful.
they really help
