New Visions Chemical Dep Prog – Johnstown Detox and Rehab Services

Recorded services at New Visions Chemical Dep Prog – Johnstown are intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Combined treatment is not recorded, which is worth checking before committing. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Never talked about my addiction, she listened, but never said anything except, “hmmm, well, etc”. The manager is terrible. They say they’ll call you for an appt and never do, don’t send over verification to the clinics.… Keep looking unless you’re ready for some stress. Wish I would of looked into their credentials.

Absolutely excellent recovery place!!!

I went to New Visions many year's ago. My councillor was a very pleasant woman, Mary. She helped me very much. She educated me about my disease and gave me the tools to use to help me stop drinking and to stay stopped.… No one, and no place, can keep us from drinking if we want a drink!!! It's up to us to not pick up that first drink. I'm grateful that they were there for me. I would recommend this facility for anyone that needs education and a firm foundation to begin their recovery and find a new way to deal with life, without picking up a drink or a drug.
