Methadone helps addicts. Clinics like SOAR hurt & hold back the addicts they are meant to help. The only people who truly benefit from clinics are the owners and doctors.

I was treated for outpatient therapy here for depression and alcoholism. This place is the worst around. I wanted to simply be treated and represcribed medication for depression. The doctor is in the office only once a… week. The counselors only listen and agree to everything you say. I couldn’t get my medication because of an insurance issue. I told my counselor Nahera i was upset and asked how to get my medication. I was told to come in and see the doctor and maybe he can help me. When i arrived i checked into see the doctor but as i sat there for 5 minutes waiting patiently come to find out they called the police on me because i sounded upset over the phone. They discharged me and called the cops on me simply because i was upset and was looking for answers to see what i can do to get help. A drug and mental health institution discharged and called the cops on a patient instead of trying to find a solution for the patient to get the medication they can’t afford to buy. I was calm the entire time and kept my composure but really dissatisfied that they chose to kick me to the curb instead of help me with my mental health.

Very professional and serves the community well for those who it concerns....

I go here to get methadone and most insurances cover the cost if not you can pay out of pocket. I'm not sure how much it would be out of pocket you would have to find out. It's not to bad most of the time your in and… out to get your dose from the nurse there, sometimes you have to see the doctor there and have counseling once a week. The only down side is that you have to attend a group session event event week that is 2hrs long, to me that's nuts especially if you are doing good and have take home doses.

Absolutely false advertising. With years clean I needed to switch my suboxone doctor. Intake was so polite and professional. Then you meet the doctor and she cuts the medication you've been on for years in a quarter and… has you come back in 3 days twice before she will write a regular prescription. 3 weeks in a row they've found a reason to make me drive 45 mins down to them on 3 separate days. So disorganized. They said they would transfer me because of my mental health medications (all non narcotic) on a Wednesday. On Friday at 339pm I'm told that I need to find somewhere else to go basically. 5 years clean and this place almost cost me my sobriety because of the stress it creates. Noone there actually does anything except the women who check you in and the nurses that give you your meds. And all the doctor does is give you problems and asks you how you are while texting someone and not even listening. Most stressful place I've ever been to. Go ANYWHERE else.

Unprofessional, in accurate, and competitive with each other and other offices. I felt like trash and here I was being discredited I am in a drug free program. Yet my file said I have take homes, sub maintenance, etc… and I'm non compliant. I have no car was told Bristol CAN NOT help me which I found to be falsified. I ha r werkly sessions with a counselor and just stared 3/31/21. I had one urine which 2as positive for benzos bc I am prescribed this medication but I recently was hospitalized and bc of tlmy.health situation I'm not compliant so I can't transfer to the Soar Bristol Office according to what Anthony was told by Dana. All inaccuraten information andy file still.needsmto be corrected.
