Went for a meeting. Staff was courteous. The congregate of seniors were friendly. Place was clean and tidy.
I went in to get copies and they helped me out, the receptionist was very nice
I have no idea who this lady is or what her name is but she’s short, black glasses with straight black hair who works at the tribe shes very rude picks and chooses who to help especially when it comes to events… happening at the tribe. This isn’t the first time she’s done this acting like she runs the whole place.

So many people in the town of Guadalupe, Arizona have been trying to enroll with the Pasqua Yaqui tribe but unfortunately are not getting anywhere. The tribe’s enrollment department requires you to provide a family tree… showing how you are Yaqui. If your relatives/ancestors didn’t enroll in the tribal base role in 1984 because of pride or because they passed away, then it prevents future people like myself who want to enroll with the tribe and be a part of the community. This is so annoying. It’s like they’re blaming us for what previous relative didn’t do. Now they’re stealing our opportunities to take pride in who we are and where we come from.

It's sad that this tribe has no respect for their people. There is a lot of favoritism that happens behind the scenes and it's horrendous. This is not what tribes should be doing because they do have the resources to… help. Myself and other family members have called numerous times for help with plumbing and cooler services, and have never received a call back, or promised service and nothing happen. To say you have such respect for the elderly, yet let an 88 year old woman suffer for almost a week without air is not only unacceptable but evil on a whole different scale. Yet, upper management do not look like they are starving or in need of assistance. I am truly disappointed and frankly ashamed to be considered a Yaqui member. I know now that I cannot and will never again ask for assistance from the Pascua Yaqui Tribe.
