Great treatment program if you work with veterans and responders. I refer all of the clients on my caseload (case management) who are eligible here. Their staff is very collaborative and clients who need higher levels… of care / first responder oriented treatments have shared positive experiences.

Healing Heroes Recovery Center is an incredible resource for first responders and their families. The program provides a supportive environment with compassionate and knowledgeable clinicians who truly care about the… people they’re helping. I’ve seen firsthand how tremendously the program can help someone on their journey toward healing and recovery. I would highly recommend Healing Heroes to any first responder or eligible individual who may be struggling and looking for support. The clinicians and the program as a whole are truly outstanding.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Rodriguez, and I highly recommend her and her team! She helped me tremendously, and I truly appreciate everything they’ve done for me. The staff genuinely cares about their… clients and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel supported. They are also extremely understanding and knowledgeable when it comes to working with first responders. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and will go the extra mile, I highly recommend Mrs. Rodriguez and her team!

My 1:1 with Gianna was great. She was a real one. The intake process was painless. I liked the ability to attend virtually, being a parent. But let me tell you something. If you have a spouse, keep them as far as… possible away from this program unless you want them to divorce you. I thought having my wife join the program would help her understand the issues I was having with regard to being a first responder. What I did not expect was for her therapist, Zach, to empower her to realize she hated me and leave me. And at first I didn’t think, hmm, maybe it’s a conflict of interest, right? I go to his group therapies. He’s psychoanalyzed me before. I assumed if my wife brought concerns about me to him, he would explain to her, being a “first responder therapist,” that he could say, “Well, your husband acts this way because of X, Y, Z.” Not empower her to just give up on me. So I really cannot stress enough to anyone coming to this place to stay away, or at the very least, keep your spouse away. I didn’t know the M.O. was to hurt the “hero” and further break them. I came there on my own. I wasn’t mandated to. Also, the drug tests were ridiculous. I’m a first responder. Why am I being drug tested like some criminal? Also, how could someone be a first responder therapist and not know what a sovereign citizen is, Zach? I guess it’s one of those things where you lie on the résumé and still get the job. No wonder this place closed down last time.

I had a telephone interview set up for the morning after I was discharged from a treatment center. My counselor and myself at the treatment center spoke with the staff of HH together on the telephone twice prior to… discharge. A date and time was set for the interview, it was for the morning after my discharge. Prior to my discharged I had called HH twice myself, no call back. HH never called for the scheduled interview. I called again and left a message that no one had called me for the interview and please call back. A week later still no call back, I have moved on elsewhere. That is the last thing someone in our shoes needs to deal with when trying to continue getting help, horrible.
