TPALS – Wilkes Barre Detox and Rehab Services

Recorded services at TPALS – Wilkes Barre are intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Mental health and substance use are handled together rather than in sequence. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

How Much Does Treatment at TPALS – Wilkes Barre Cost?

Self-pay rehab in Pennsylvania commonly costs $3,000 to $10,000 a month for an intensive outpatient program and $1,200 to $5,000 a month for standard outpatient care. RehabSeekers did not find a price list for TPALS when this page was written. The state figures give a sense of scale, nothing more.

A fee at TPALS would normally be expected to include the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling. That expectation comes from how programs are usually priced, not from the facility. Call TPALS for a breakdown.

I've known the staff for years and can say that they are complete professionals whom lean more towards caring for individuals than making a buck. They have my respect for how they've treated me and so many others in… these trying times.

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ROBBED ME 1200 DOLLARS!!!!!!. I had both state insurance and insurance from my job yet somehow i have this bill. Why would anyone go to this awful place once a week when everyone else does once a… month. If theres any problem with insurance they charge you 250 for the provider visit and 85-100 for the counselor who barely remembers your name. The only reason theyre still in business is because they deal with the probation and parole (government contracts so when u break it down you are going to get your dose off the government LOL good luck right). so while you a common citizen has to deal with essentially criminals/criminal institution. While the counselor was nice it felt like we talked about the same things OVER and Over again but she was swamped... My main issue is they let my bill be built up to 1200 dollars when I had the insurance to pay it. I am still fighting to have this removed from my credit report as its the only thing in collections. Thats what this evil corporation did to a loyal patient whos only sin was LEAVING. This place ruined my life I cant get approved for a house or a car because of them. Notice how they replied to everyone except me because theyre cowards and know theyre an immoral greedy corporation. NEVER GONNA SEE THAT MONEY EITHER. Oh and another thing they make u bring ur empty sub wrappers and if u dont theyll knock u back down to weekly. WHAT A JOKE. If you need help I would never suggest induction at any of these places anyways but after your stable GO TO OPHELIA. Once a month after like 2 months and its all online. Theyre very flexible if u need to reschedule as well. You can even be prescribed 24 mgs which what do you know ever since then ive had no relapses. OPHELIA is also much cheaper if u lose insurance. I have been on the sub program for 15 years and the only reason I went to this place was bc the CASEY HOUSE essentially forced me to. SIGNED: Joseph Polashenski.

I asked to have one counselor two months ago the manager assured me I would two months later never happened and NOW insurance denies it why? BECAUSE 4 different people prescribed medicine ! They don’t give a crap about… people at all . You can’t call them either

Ive been sober since 2019 and have been going to cleanslate the whole time. I am very happy with all the Dr's and nurses i come in contact with. Laurie and Bebe are the best and are alot better then the Scranton office.

I’ll start off saying 90% of the staff in the receptionist area were awesome. Then my counselor Nicole was amazing. I also had a specific provider who I liked to see but the reason I give two stars is based off the more… senior providers/doctors there and the overall emphasis/approach cleanslate takes. They treat you as an addict not a person.. that’s why Nicole was my favorite because as a former addict herself she knows how fragile recovery is. Anyways I just don’t like how your jockeyed back and forth between providers, seeing different ones everytime your in there, there’s no continuity or trust/relationship being built. Every new provider just sees another junkie they don’t know. They are very strict with the length of time they prescribe you for which feels like a lack of trust especially when you’ll be months and months of weekly visits and drug tests with no issue. You know how hard it is for some people to make time to come every week when it’s very unnecessary? I abruptly left cleanslate about 2 years ago now because my fiancé got me in at AppleGate recovery where she goes and it’s 10x more supportive atmosphere. You see the same Dr everytime, it’s not 100 people in the lobby just rushing you in and out, there’s 2 receptionist who treat you like family and are available almost anytime you need anything. They give gifts for holidays and most importantly they trusted me without knowing me. They gave me the chance to prove myself to them, they gave me monthly prescriptions right away and got me on the proper dose and that’s why my success rate while pretty good wasn’t outstanding like it is at AppleGate and whenever I brought that up at cleanslate they treated me like I was drug seeking when my current doctor Dr.Vance Good said for my level and length of abuse the dosage they had me on at clean slate was far too low. I go all the way up to the Mansfield office which is about a 3HR drive but to make the trip once a month instead of weekly visits is so worth it. There is a location right in Blakeslee for anyone who sees this and is thinking about making the switch. I have gotten to know some of the doctors there from the time when Dr.Good was sick and they are great people to. They even do a 2 week call in for a partial every 3 months just to keep from getting overbooked and keeping your appointments more personal and interactive. I’ll end by saying shout out to Nicole at clean slate! Hope your still out there positively changing lives.

Truly the worst provider's office in the valley. No respect for their client's time. They cancel appointments, claiming they TOTALLY called you. Their call center will have you on hold for upwards of 10 minutes. They… don't seem to grasp the idea of people having day jobs that limit their availability to come to the office. They provide such a critical resource...one would think, nay HOPE, there was a baseline level of competency. Clearly not. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Clean slate has really helped me with my recovery and always went the extra mile. I would like to give an extra thank you to a staff member there, Carissa. When I first came into clean slate, she truly listened to me,… not just why I’m there, but as to what lead me to the point of life I was at and that meant a lot. She was very encouraging and not just for me, but I’ve heard from others as well that this lady goes above and beyond for us. Thank you to clean slate, I am now 2 years into recovery.

I have been going here for years and the staff is amazing. Bebe at the front desk is an absolute GEM! I love seeing her every visit!! I could stay and talk to her all day. She is so warm, sincere, genuine and kind! I… truly appreciate her. The rest of the front desk staff is also great as well, so are the providers and doctors. I highly recommend cleanslate to those seeking anything they provide and offer.

Great place with a high level of care, treated with the upmost respect. No snotty attitudes from staff... Positivity whenever I go. Only issue was alot of tests for 1 shot I did finally receive and then was told they… were lowering me and I have never heard of being titrated after one dose. They have a great program, just not for me.

If you can find another doctor you will be better off! They make you feel like they do not care about your sobriety! Find a doctor that cares more about the patients than just getting paid from your insurance company!… Edit: try using Ophelia online! They care about you 💖

Too much red tape. New providers, not very sympathetic. I used to be a patient several years ago. I came back under different circumstances looking for help. And they last their personal touch. The only one there that… has a heart in my opinion is Ed. He's a great guy.
