Threshold Rehabilitation Services Inc – Reading Detox and Rehab Services
What Threshold Rehabilitation Services Inc – Reading offers, on record, is partial hospitalization and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
The record does not show integrated provision, so confirm this if it matters. It is worth asking how many hours a week the program runs, because that decides whether it fits around everything else.

Threshold Rehabilitation Services Inc – Reading Address, Location and Contact Information
The site is at 1000 Lancaster Avenue in Reading, Pennsylvania, 19607. Berks County covers this area. Provision extends to the wider area, so check the journey before you set off. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.
Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. Admissions lines are frequently busiest early in the week, which is worth knowing if the first attempt fails.

Threshold Rehabilitation Services Inc – Reading Reviews and Ratings
A licensing record says what Threshold Rehabilitation Services Inc is permitted to do. Reviews from patients and their families say what treatment in Reading was like, and those accounts are collected in this section.
You won't silence me! I will not be silenced. lol. Oh and this is a public review. They threatened to sue me if I spoke out against them. I will not be silenced. In 2018 I went there while these 4 specific people were… there. 2 actually tried to help me. The other two the head of therapy or whatever her position was called and the third therapist that was then replaced by another therapist both were kinda cruel. I asked for housing and the head of therapy said it'll take a while. Then 6 months past and that same person said they don't do that. two therapists you know who you are helped me a ton. So I won't deny that they didn't help at all. A male therapist talked to me about my trauma with my father. And helped me get over most of it. And my father passed away after being diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia and Dementia and Alzheimer's. Which as we concluded makes my dad less of a monster and more of a person suffering from a chronic illness. Maybe my family doesn't see it that way but that is okay. Anyway, the third therapist another male replaced by a female. both of them seemed off. But I won't speculate further. They won't let you disagree with them. They shut it down. They shut down politics, religion, and peace talks. But they also shut down questioning them like for instance if they get something in psychology wrong and you point it out. They threaten you will suspension or with being kicked out. "An environment that is not safe to disagree, is not an environment focused on growth but control." - Wendi Jade. They have their little cliche of people like some type of high school get together. lol. They are immature for their age when many of them are older than me with the brain of a two year old. And I don't mean their disabilities. So because they lied about when I would get housing. And told me to go down the hall and to the right and knock on CM door. The manager of the group home at the time. I said come with me because it is rude to interrupt people while they work she refused and I called it nothing more than a glorified baby sitting service. Well in 2020 SAM (affiliated with Threshold) informed me that there is a group home there with Threshold. And so I got on Zoom because COVID. And they insisted on bringing up what I said 2 years prior about it being nothing more than a glorified baby sitting service. That tells me that they held a grudge. That isn't professional. They thought they could shock me by saying it in front of my mother. I said yeah so what about it? They said well are you gonna say that again? Are you gonna do something like that again? I said no. But I knew if I said maybe it depends on your performance that they'd tell me I cannot. So that takes us to me showing up at Threshold again after two years. And now we gotta rewind the clocks to when I was about 17. But for that story to make sense we have to rewind further. I was traumatized at 3 by my dad. I was in a baby sitting center and they had favorites and I wasn't their favorite so they spanked me. In kindergarten I met this nice girl I was only 5 years old at the time. And I read this teacher's manual that she left laying around intentionally hoping someone would read it to see if any of the kids were super smart and I did read some of it. No one else chose to. In first grade I had moved to Frystown. And I got bullied relentelessly. Until 15 when I lashed out at them. Then at 17 the bullies mentioned a person that I would meet at Threshold. A so called friend as he'd become. And well, that didn't end well. He told me LG was fired or quit and B. of Mosaic house was arrested for SA. Both of which coulda been lies.
If I could rate Threshold 0 stars, I would. Threshold is the company that owns the only 2 clubhouses in Berks County; Hope Springs Clubhouse and Mosaic House. Currently Threshold is in violation of at least 6… international clubhouse standards. Threshold is changing staffing positions within both clubhouses, while keeping all staff and members of both clubhouses in the dark. Members are supposed to be involved with the interviewing and hiring of all staff positions, including director. Threshold has not included a single member in this process whatsoever. All the staff have left Hope Springs due to the actions of Threshold. And this is deeply affecting the clubhouse members. We are people who struggle with mental health, and Clubhouse is a program that’s supposed to give support, opportunities, help, and safety to these members. But Threshold has treated us members like we don’t matter, like we’re nothing. Threshold has been taking our rights away and trying to silence us. The Threshold staff do not care about mental health whatsoever. All they care about is getting a paycheck. A nonprofit out for profit. And due to Threshold’s actions, Hope Springs Clubhouse has lost the safety and security it once provided the members.
