This location I can honestly say it has lost its way from being there to help others I have been enrolled they're from a few years back so I have re-enrolled not knowing how disrespectful it would be now or how they… would be now before I never had much of a problem as I do now for instance my own case manager had made it difficult to get just a simple letter for something that was court ordered also the letter was involving groups that I had completed long before and when he went and left a message to the lady that sits in the higher seat of him he only stated that I wasn't insured like I had no insurance which that really wasn't the reason why I was asking for the letter I didn't understand why he was trying to withhold my letter just because I didn't have insurance I had already completed those groups all I was asking for was a printout of my certificates or the letter stating that I had completed those groups but he was telling me it was difficult I was making things difficult which I was not he was just not wanting to do his job so I had spoke with supervisor of him and I got my letter quick as possible again I call the phone is just ringing and ringing and ringing all morning I choose not to leave a message because it's important that I get through to somebody because when I was dealing with my matter my messages were not being sent to my case manager or they were not being answered or heard because I had to keep calling in with the constant to get through to my case manager I was told somebody was going to call me back when I did get through to the office but nobody ever contacted me now again I'm trying to call for a different matter and this is a different time I'm calling and calling and calling and when somebody finally answers the front desk phone I'm trying to explain to her I'm trying to send a message in for somebody she tells me all this and that about confidentiality I understand that I wasn't asking for information I was just trying to get a message for somebody in there that is incarcerated she goes to start to speak over me and say I can't do anything for you and give out information I tell her over and over again I'm not trying to get information I'm trying to get a message through to their caseworker so they can get in contact with the rehab center he's trying to get into and she just straight up hangs up on me all she had to do was take his information that I had given and look him up herself and let the case manager know she didn't have to tell me who the case manager was she didn't have to look them up and let me know anything and I explained that to her all she had to do was relay my message once she found out who their case manager was again I try to explain to her I'm just trying to leave a message I understand it's going out of her way a little bit but that is her job being a receptionist also for it being a mental health place and a substance abuse place that's supposed to help I understand that the frustration of being in sobriety takes a big toll on you an treating them that way can cause somebody to have a breakdown or a actual mental breakdown because of being in a sobriety you have to learn so many things and so many ways and for them to just be so disrespectful is not right they need to get there communication or even just a better receptionist because I don't think any of that is right and I'm pretty sure they just are not busy or they just don't want to do their jobs one that is the job they had applied for and got but I can see and I can understand that none of this is okay and then if this isn't right and I do hope something is done about it immediately.
I want to sincerely thank the entire CFC team for the support you've provided to my daughter and our family. There was a time when I felt completely lost and overwhelmed, trying to understand where my daughter's… behavioral challenges were coming from. With kindergarten only a few months away, I was frantic to find solutions and worried about whether she would be ready. Through your guidance, patience, and dedication, our family gained valuable insights and parenting skills that have made a lasting impact. I am especially grateful for the one-on-one support you provided to my daughter while maintaining the structure and boundaries she needed to grow and be successful. Today, I am excited to watch my daughter start kindergarten next week feeling emotionally and mentally prepared. Her ability to manage stress, tantrums, and reactivity has improved tremendously, and she is truly set up for success. Thank you for believing in her and supporting our family every step of the way. I am deeply grateful to each member of the CFC team. Blessings to all of you for your patience, compassion, and dedication to the families you serve. Your work makes a difference, and our family is living proof of that. ❤️
Ive been going through la frontera on and off for about 9 years . When i was 18 i was diagnosed with a bunch of stuff now as an adult i feel werent right. I was and had symptoms of a trauma and anxiety but left with… being diagnosed multiple disorders and now that im 26 and have healed i feel only maybe 3 of them were correct. Also and this is the biggest one for me , my daughter is special needs . I do have severe social anxiety and issues leaving my home. My daughter already has a million appointments and so when i made myself a appointment here and missed one or two i was refused to be seen and no longer able to make schedule appointments. Now i have to do a walk in and we all know how long that could take. Hours . This is a mental health place people forget about appointment's or are unable to make it , time manage all the time no matter how hard it was for me i did still try. I think its unfair and backwards how people are being refused like this who are mentally struggling. Anyway i decided not to continue services
Delicious...highly recommended...we traveled from Las Vegas directly and exclusively to eat here at Sweettomatoes ...
I personally liked going to la Frontera they are all very friendly positive caring helpful! Shout out to Wade, Erik, Mona, Annette they are all wonderful teachers couldn't of have done it without them thank u guys so… much!!
We had our intake on 5/26/26 and were told we would be contacted by the case manager Monica Arbizo within 48 hours. I still have not received a call or message from her or anyone else at La Frontera despite leaving… multiple voicemails, and it’s 6/13/26. When you call Monica there is a voicemail greeting that says she will be out of the office until June 1st. She gives her supervisor’s name and number. There is no option to leave a message, the call just hangs up after her greeting. When you call her supervisor Steven Mai, his voicemail greeting is current and he also gives his supervisor’s name and number but you can’t leave a message for Steven because his mailbox is full. When you call his supervisor, the number is out of service. When you call the front desk/general number, you can leave a voicemail because they don’t answer calls apparently, but they will not return your voicemail. I finally called the crisis line and they came out, called La Frontera directly and then told me the case manager from La Frontera would be calling me that day. It’s been 4 days and still nothing from La Frontera. Save yourself some time and frustration and go somewhere else, like Sonora Behavioral Health or Palo Verde. This place is a mirage.
Rude staff, they screwed up my insurance
Can’t get anyone to answer a single phone call or call me to schedule the referral. I’ve been trying for 3 weeks now. From the looks of the reviews, this place looks like a waste of time anyways. Why bother existing as… a mental health clinic when you flat out won’t communicate with the outside world lmao Edit to add: decided to call a couple more times. They have no voicemail box. The third time I called, someone answered. I could barely hear her. She passed me to someone else. Who I also could barley hear. And she passed me to a third person who I could actually hear. This third person finally helped me set an appointment. She was professional and kind. Don’t remember her name though. I’ll consider changing my rating if the first several appointments go well.
Trudy is the best teacher/instructor
Trudy Craig is an excellent counselor and source of information for anyone needing assistance with their recovery.
Ms Trudy ran a very engaging and informative class.
Great experience very helpful!
I’ve had nothing but a great experience at la frontera specially with my recovery coach George klug who is awesome
I took a 16 hour alcohol awareness course at La Frontera. I had the pleasure of having Trudy Craig as my counselor for the weekend. I can say that it made all the difference in the world taking her course. I learned a… lot about myself and how decisions affect a lot of people. Thank you Trudy, you really helped me.
trudy craig was an IMMENSE help and made the whole process super super smooth and easy and explained everything super well :) she’s very warm and eased me throughout the whole process !
Very respectful and good energy !
Having been with La Frontera for 6 years, I feel confident saying that it's not a good facility to go to. Being in both the adult and children systems, it does not get better. I was hopeful after turning 18 and moving… into the adult part with new providers and clinicians it could change my perspective. I was unable to receive any therapy for 3 years while still receiving meds with follow ups every three months. I know I am very fortunate for said fact, but with the amount of nurse practitioners I've met with, it starts to feel like a burden. Especially when they're based out of state but have to still attend the meeting at the clinic to sit in front of a computer. When I was finally able to switch to the adult facilities I received a therapist who was absolutely amazing. She had left due to the lack of respect she received from La Frontera. Furthermore, case managers or recovery coaches changing every few months with no warning or notice can be difficult. I've had to start labeling my contacts with the month/year we started communications. I have received voice mails from my RC but when I return calls with in the next business day (which all employees of la Frontera has a voice mail box set up stating they will call back within that time frame) I cannot get ahold of her. This last therapist I was working with was very self centered, a talked about her trauma and compared me to her and other clients. I found it very unprofessional and uncomfortable to say the least. When I tried explaining the conflicts and expressed I was not comfortable continuing our sessions, she was very rude about it. La Frontera can do better.
Trudy Craig, great teacher She is very relatable and respectful she actually cared about our opinions and our progress, I learned alot and im glad i was assigned to her.
It was very informative and explained everything to where everyone could understand
Amazing IOP teachers! Luz, George, and Wade are awesome IOP teachers! Enjoyed my experience.
Northing but love to all of them Luz, Wade, George and Mona. They make you feel welcomed and comfortable
Luz wade and Mona and George are all bad ass iop group leaders
This young lady at the desk I think her name is Jessica she’s so respectful and very specific on her answers may she get respected !!
We had an appointment at 3:20 The receptionist jessica and Adora whom was very rude let us know that the doctor is out of colorado and is on daylight saving time so there for we would have to wait until 4:20 when I told… her we are in arizona not Colorado therefore our appointment is at 3:20 she very rudely told me she would sign us in early
The ladies at the desk are so sweet. ✨
Thank you for your service, you were very kind and attentive. God bless you.
