Gaudenzia Inc – Lancaster Detox and Rehab Services

Gaudenzia Inc – Lancaster carries a listing for residential treatment. The right level of care is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and an assessment should produce a defined answer.

Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Gaudenzia Inc – Lancaster Address, Location and Contact Information

The facility address is 208 East King Street, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, 17602. The city lies within Lancaster County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. How someone gets there matters more than it sounds: travel is one of the commonest reasons a course of treatment stops partway.

It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

How Much Does Treatment at Gaudenzia Inc – Lancaster Cost?

Rehab paid for privately in Pennsylvania typically costs $1,610 to $5,110 for a week of medical detox and $6,000 to $28,000 a month for residential treatment. That is a guide only, as published prices for Gaudenzia Inc were not found at the time of writing.

Standard inclusions are accommodation, meals, medical monitoring, the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling. It is fair to assume Gaudenzia Inc works the same way, but that is an assumption. Ask the facility which therapies and medications cost extra.

The recent leadership change at Vantage house has made a widely positive impact on this program straight across the board from stronger clinical care to the warmth from the moment that you enter.

I was vantage house twice. I hated each experience. The first time when I was pregnant. And again once I had my daughter. Both times were terrible. They have no structure what so ever. There’s nothing but down time.… They barely have groups and when they do it’s as if they threw them together 20 minutes before. The staff is very rude and disrespectful and most definitely have their favorites. The counseling there is a joke. Nobody seems to want to do their job. It’s as if they tell you whatever to get you through the door and charge your insurance and then once you’re in there and locked in they no longer care. It’s worse than jail there in my opinion. The only reason I ended up there a second time was because it was the only place available at the time I could go to with my daughter. But I would not recommend. I have never in my life written a review, let alone a bad one but I do not want to see another woman who is trying to get the help they deserve be treated the way I was. By the grace of God only I’m still sober today.

The worst rehab experience I’ve ever had in my life, I’ll never forget how terrible it was. Not only do they make you memorize about a books worth of information about the groups and rules and this page long chant were… forced to recite after every group; but you have to memorize it or you cannot make phone calls or write letters to loved ones. Just an awful experience that I’ll never forget. I was depressed everyday and contemplated just going to jail instead of staying at Vantage House. Well it turned out I did end up getting kicked out 5 months in the 6 month program and jail was honestly better than being at Vantage House. None of their cognitive behavioral therapy actually worked. We would try to make friends but they also expected us, well forced us, to tattle on the other clients. By far one of the worst experiences of my life and I’ll never forget the 5 months of my life that I wasted there. And since I got kicked out and went to jail, I lost all of my belongings, including my phone. Do not go to this rehab, I recommend Cove Forge. These people think that this type of therapy helps addicts but in retrospect it makes them have to fake their progress just to graduate and get the hell out of there. I wish I could give it 0 stars. I was at Vantage house in 2017, and I’ve been meaning to write this review sooner. ✌🏼

I went to this rehab for six months when I was pregnant with my daughter. Yes, some of the staff was rude at times and they tried to put me down and they prioritized other clients before me and those clients that were… at their top ranking are now still struggling with addiction, but this did change my life for the better. Now I am going on three years clean this coming June, and they definitely pointed me in the right direction And I was able to work past my trauma and live a healthy happy life.

I used to be at Vantage House. It is the worst experience I've ever had in my life. I cried myself to sleep every night. I wasn't the only one. They should be shut down! They didn't let me breastfeed when I needed. We… ran out of milk and they blamed us. Our 3 showers between 35 people were always cold. We went from 7am-10pm in groups, exhausted every day. They made us feel like scum, made us chant, tattle, tore us down and made us fit their mold. They make you memorize ridiculous chants and if you act unhappy you loose the little privileges you have. If you have no privileges they will sleep deprive you. I couldn't talk to my son, husband or case manager. They kept me away from my newborn most of the day. I got in trouble for holding my baby too much. They said I was addicted to my baby. I was there because the courts. I was caught growing 10 marijuana seedlings. They told me I had disease and I would eventually use hard drugs. When I left they said I was going to die. This place is insane! Someone should investigate it! Absolutely horrific!!! And guess what, 15 years later and I still feel the same way. I do nothing but smoke weed. No hard drugs. And wow I didn't die.

I was a client and as hard as it was it changed me and my life for the better. I would recommend any female who wants recovery to go to Vantage and listen to the staff as hard as it can be they speak from years of… experience and years of sobriety and only try to help. I learned more about myself while I was there then I ever did. I lost custody of my sons before going and because of the work I did and with the help of Mrs Diane Horton-Lewis I got custody of my son back 5 months after loosing custody. Vantage helped me find me again and gave me my life back. I will forever be grateful.

Counselors are beyond rude, they are ignorant to family, they demand that the patient calls if you send too many cards and asks you to stop sending so many because apparently "too much" family support is no good for a… place like this

My friend is there now, She was told not to see me any more, I do not drink, use drugs in any form, they question me on our relationship, I been in my friend circle for while , I had help her through some difficult… times while she was in York county prison, I fellowship in NA, been clean for nearly 20years , I SPONOR several people, they refuse even to allow her to speak to me, just last week I asked what is the policy for me to call, I was given the procedure, when I called, she was not allowed to talk to me, did I mention I am black and she is white, or she is 25 and am 67, I have not called to come to another session.
